COLLECTIVE MADNESS

“Soft despotism is a term coined by Alexis de Tocqueville describing the state into which a country overrun by "a network of small complicated rules" might degrade. Soft despotism is different from despotism (also called 'hard despotism') in the sense that it is not obvious to the people."

Hillary losing her groove. You go girl.

A big Boo Hoo to the sad white liberals that discover that blood is thicker than water. There was old fool Imus, who had been kissing Harold Ford's booty for some time, desperately calling out for a return favor when the I-team Ho-down took the old boy Lo-down.

Now we have the shocking revelation that Hillary may get Baracked in her ample booty. It seems the blood is up again and the catfish are jumpin away from another white liberal that learns blacks like everyone else except white liberals are tribal and take care of their own. So it should be. mmm m mmmmmm.

Drudge Reports:
BLACK LEADERS NOW ON FENCE ABOUT HILLARY
Mon Apr 23 2007 21:03:39 ET

Only four months ago, the vast majority of prominent black elected officials in New York were expected to support the presidential candidacy of their state's favorite daughter, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton.

But no longer, the NEW YORK TIMES is planning to report on Tuesday Page Ones.

In a series of interviews with the paper's Ray Hernandez, a significant number of those officials said they were now undecided about whether to back Clinton or Sen. Barack Obama, newsroom sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT.

"The officials described themselves as impressed with the strength of Obama's campaign in recent weeks, saying it reflected a grass-roots enthusiasm for Obama that they noticed among black voters in their own districts."

  1. Bernstein, known for his investigative reporting, interviewed more than 200 people for the book, including friends, colleagues and adversaries of Clinton's. The work covers her life up through the decision to run for the presidency.

The Knopf spokesman said Bernstein did not interview Clinton or her husband for the book although he has had contact with them over the years.

The book is due June 19.

  2. Looking at that photo, I get the very uneasy feeling I'm seeing demons captured as their naked selves.

  3. Barack will have a brake failure while driving down a winding road.

Mysterious and unfortunate it will be.

  4. I'm amazed at the number of times I've seen assassination mentioned regarding Obama. I confess that I've also entertained that possibility. Could it be because he represents a form of revolutionary leadership that could sweep the nation as JFK did?

    Revolutionary in what way?

Kennedy got 49.7%, Nixon 49.6% and Byrd got 0.7%.

Ash, I think you are on to something. I predict that Obama, like Kennedy, will get less than 50%. I would even bet money on it.

  7. ya, probably right, but IF he is assassinated he might live on gloriously into the future just like JFK. hmmm, martyrdom...

  8. Trish,
At least now you know what was revolutionary about Kennedy, and what might be about Obama.
    Thanks for asking.

  9. Trish,

My sarcasm hasn't been very clear. Obama seems to be the focal point for many folks hopes and aspirations for 'revolutionary' leadership much like those gazing to the past view the leadership of the martyred JFK. The reality is most likely quite different...though with Obama we can still hope.

    Oh, I guarantee it.

  11. I used to be quite cynical on the issue of whether things would ever change. I remember when Bush was elected and I thought, well, he might be a little more ripe for parody then Gore but 6 of one half dozen of another. Now I am quite cognizant of the power of the presidency, how the person in the role can actually affect change. It is so sad that my relization came because of the large magnitude of incompetence displayed by the current POTUS. I really have a new found respect for the office and the power it projects.
