Israeli Military Technology Drone Sales to Russia (Video from 2009)

THIS CAUGHT MY ATTENTION: IS ISRAEL SELLING SWARM TECHNOLOGY TO THE RUSSIANS?

CHECK THE DATEBy ARIEL HARKHAM \ 01/03/2015 21:29

Upgrading Israel’s Iron Dome with swarm ware

No doubt, it will be noted that combining software to not just take the pilot out of the cockpit but out of the control process altogether represents a shift toward algorithmic decision-making and even toward a robotized military strategy. Though this may cause anxiety (not without reason), in truth swarmware offers too many significant benefits to ignore, some of which may prove critical to Israel’s survival.

Foremost among them is the defensive capability offered by swarmware to essentially “black out” a limited airspace like Israel’s. Mapping and intercepting a nearly unlimited number of intruders in real time without time constraints offers the IDF the ability to contain an impending conflict, particularly when the strategic objectives of enemies like Hamas is to escalate. Like with the Iron Dome, which was able to prevent the loss of lives on both sides – on the Israeli side directly, by intercepting rockets, and on the Palestinian side, by facilitating the containment of the war – a matrixed drone network can similarly provide a defensive edge that overwhelms the offensive strategy of the other side.

But another part of this is economic.

Israel is currently looking to buy F-35 fighters from the US at the astronomical per-plane cost of $147 million – a price tag that has already caused Israel to reduce it initial order of 75 plane to a still-barely-affordable 36. With the cost per UA V a fraction of that of a next-generation fighter (modern military UA Vs range from $1 million to $20 million) compounded by the drastically lower maintenance cost, what we see is not that the UA V is emerging as a fighter replacement, but stands to play an even greater role in Israel’s strategic air defense mix.

When you observe a swarm, you immediately look for its hive. Observing Israel, limited in space just like a hive, is perfectly suited for a swarmlike defense. Creating a drone swarm would effectively free up the IDF’s manpower and high-end platforms for missions requiring greater skill and more planning and sophisticated decision- making. And looking at potential Israeli conflicts, from Hamas to Hezbollah to Iran, Israel’s ability to construct a swarm of drones buffered by layers of anti-missile systems on the ground and supporting attack fighters in the air would provide the capability to deliver a sting that can deter.

The path from here to a functioning, massive UA V swarm is long and complex, involving the development of industrial-scale production. But already Israel is ahead of the curve as the world’s largest exporter of drones (by number of units), according to a 2013 study by business consulting firm Frost and Sullivan. Swarmware would also require overly prudent (almost neurotic) safeguards and failsafes against any cyber threats – but here too Israel has an advantage as it has one of the most advance cyber forces in the world today.

The strategic opportunity, considering Israel’s brain power versus its scarcity in resource, for Israel in possession of a perpetually unmanned air-defense shield will return its qualitative edge on the digital battlefield and entirely transform the way IDF will be able to wage war. Not only is Israel one of the best-equipped nations in the world to develop swarm ware, but the technology can be a strategic game-changer for the Jewish state, one of those rare opportunities that converts perceived weakness into defined strength.

Russian 6th-gen drone fighter jets to fly in swarms, enter near space
      Published time: 12 Jul, 2016 03:14
      Edited time: 12 Jul, 2016 03:17

Planned to be unveiled by 2025, Russia’s sixth-generation fighter jets will be rounding on the enemy in “swarms” largely consisting of unmanned aircraft flying at hypersonic speed. Developers say such groups would be able to interact and transit through space.

Image from globalslaves.blogspot.ruRussia to kill drones, missiles with 10km-range super-high frequency cannon
“The main principle of this aircraft’s way of deployment is a so-called swarm, a collective solving of any task. There will be one or two piloted aircrafts in the group, the others will be unmanned vehicles,” said Vladimir Mikheev, an advisor to the deputy head of the Radioelectronic Technologies Concern [KRET], Russia’s largest radio electronics manufacture, in an interview to TASS on Monday.

The revolutionary drone technology developed by the company would allow a single piloted aircraft command from five up to 10 unmanned vehicles. The pilot’s helm and suit will send a signal to the on-board system, which will assign a number of drones to his command. The tasks and number of vehicles depends on the pilot’s status and experience.

“Depending on the status, he [the pilot] is given several subordinate drones. They, in their turn, understand – they must protect, for example, lieutenant Petrov. But if colonel Ivanov is in the cockpit, the number of subordinate drones should be more, and so forth,” Mikheev said.

READ MORE: Russia’s first 3D-printed surveillance drone on display (VIDEO)

Each swarm will consist of the main vehicle which maintains general command with each of the remaining aircrafts programmed to perform particular tasks, such as reconnaissance, hitting ground targets or destroying enemy aircrafts.

The unmanned aircraft is supposed to by far supersede the technical potential of 5th generation fighter jets. Apart from developing a supersonic speed of about 4-5 Mach, it will be able to enter near space and reenter the atmosphere in a designated spot, hundreds of kilometers away from the place of the original entry.

    RELATED STORY?

WHY IS ISRAEL’S BENJAMIN NETANYAHU WARMING TO RUSSIA'S VLADIMIR PUTIN?

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu were all smiles when they shook hands for the fourth time in a year Tuesday.

Netanyahu is in Moscow for the third time since fall 2015 to mark the 25th anniversary of Russia and Israel’s diplomatic relationship. It is therefore all the more surprising that the two men are meeting in such amicable circumstances.

Far from being traditional bedfellows, the Kremlin and Tel Aviv did not even maintain direct channels with one another until a quarter of a century ago. The Soviet Union perceived Israel as a U.S.-backed state and even motioned that the U.N. equate Zionism to racism in 1975. Israel, meanwhile, perceived Moscow as a backer of regional foes such as Syria and Egypt.

Try Newsweek for only $1.25 per week

Now the situation has changed greatly. Israeli newspaper Haaretz declared that “ties between Israel and Russia have never been better” on the eve of the meeting. Putin and Netanyahu have quite a few reasons to get along and it is not out of the question that the two leaders will find plenty more occasions to touch base in future. Here is why.

Netanyahu looks to strengthen pro-Russian vote

Outside the former Soviet Union, Israel has the world’s third largest Russian-speaking community. While anti-Semitism was a systemic problem in many parts of the Soviet Union, and continues to be an issue in former communist countries, Putin has tried to model himself as a friend to the Russian Jewish community. This could help the Israeli government’s reelection chances, McDowell says.

“On a more fundamental level, the shift in relations has been driven by the growing community of post-Soviet Jewish immigrants into Israel,” he says. “The Israel Beiteinu party of Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman has made Russophone Israelis a principal base of support and they are an increasingly influential electoral block.”

“Simultaneously, Iran is the modern iteration of one of human history’s richest
civilizations and a paranoid jihadist state bent on global conquest, the destruction
of Israel, and ‘Death to America.’ It is our most immediate threat, yet one
strangely remote from our understanding. In The Complete Infidel’s Guide to Iran,
Robert Spencer punctures our common misconceptions and Washington’s dangerous

and clear-eyed analysis. All Americans, and most especially the political class,
would do well to read this highly accessible book and grasp the challenge that
      confronts us.”

“Robert Spencer has succeeded where many fail, sweeping through Iran’s history with
a sure touch and an eye for the essential. He has also understood the monumental
significance of Iran’s material contribution to the September 11, 2001 plot. Despite
sectarian enmity, Sunnis and Shia can get along just fine when it comes to killing
      Jews and Americans.”
      — Kenneth R. Timmerman, President, Foundation for Democracy in Iran

“This masterpiece illuminates the most lethal threats against America and
civilization today. Iran aims at global and hegemonic control through its terror
networks, which are widely dispersed over the planet. Robert Spencer’s vivid, lucid,
and comprehensive record of Iran’s genocidal apocalyptic nuclear program gives us an
invaluable and perspicuous tool for understanding current crucial topics. Essential
      reading to prevent mass extermination.”

“Robert Spencer is arguably the most knowledgeable, authoritative, and prolific of
American infidels with respect to sharia, jihad, and their most dangerous state

  3. You really need to watch the video and remember this:

(CNN) - When it comes to Russia, the Obama administration has been talking about “pressing the reset button.” It’s meant to symbolize a possible new start in U.S./Russian relations, which “crashed” after Russia invaded Georgia last August.

So when Secretary of State Hillary Clinton greeted Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Geneva Friday before sitting down to their working dinner, she was all smiles when she presented him a small green box with a ribbon.

Lavrov opened it and, inside, there was a red button with the Russian word “peregruzka” printed on it.

"I would like to present you with a little gift that represents what President Obama and Vice President Biden and I have been saying and that is: 'We want to reset our relationship, and so we will do it together.' ...

"We worked hard to get the right Russian word. Do you think we got it?" she asked Lavrov, laughing.

“You got it wrong," said Lavrov, as both diplomats laughed.

“It should be “perezagruzka” [the Russian word for reset]," said Lavrov."This says ‘peregruzka,’ which means ‘overcharged.’”

    The Latinization of the West

    (Bernie Wins)

    By Mike Konrad

....America and Canada were unique in that most of the arriving colonists brought European women with them; and by 1900 they had eventually recapitulated Europe in North America. Not so with Latin America, where the mixing had produced mind-numbing classes of people: mestizos (mixed white-Indian); castizos (mixed white-Indian, favoring the white); cholos (white-Indian, favoring the Indian); zambos (mixed black-Indian); pardos (a mix of white, black, and Indian). There were ridiculous charts to make classification easy; but the variety of mixes always ran ahead of the bureaucrats’ ability to classify. In the end, Latin America produced ruling white elites that ran whole countries with an iron fist. Government was corrupt, the heritage of Roman and Moorish civilization.

Still, such white rule was often by an unstable minority; and today the veneer is cracking. In much of Latin America, the indigenous elements are reasserting themselves. Paraguay has made Guarani an official language. Peru and Bolivia have re-invigorated the Quechuan and Aymara affiliated tongues. If this sounds wonderful, let us remember that some barbaric practices are also returning.

In Peru, sacred fighting rituals are common:

In Santo Tomas, the festival is known as Takanakuy, everybody fights everybody, and it happens bright and early Christmas morning. - CNN

The Peruvian government no longer tries to suppress the festivities. In Bolivia, Tinku brawling is common. There is evidence that occasional ritual human sacrifice still goes on in the Andes. In a famous 1960 incident, in Chile, a six-year-old was killed by Mapuche Indians to placate the gods.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Today, as European "white" Christian civilization is denigrated, these indigenous practices will once again bubble up. Already this is happening in Latin America.

Now that all civilizations -- rather than individuals -- are considered equal, Western Civilization will decay into a Latin American mode of rule. The semi-civilized will rule over retro-barbaric people. Rather than civilizing these people -- which would, of course, be cultural imperialism -- the situation will descend toward barbarity. Brazil is the ultimate example, where quite prosperous whites are known to take helicopters to work to avoid the nearby heavily black favelas

As the United States imports more non-Europeans, it will be impossible to rule democratically, and the Latinization of the USA will be complete. As whites intermarry with non-whites, we will recapitulate the phenotypical appearance of many Latins as well.

This is not racism. The problem here is that Western civilization is no longer being taught to the kids. It was once considered okay to Christianize the pagan blond Scandinavians and Slavs, but heaven forfend that we proselytize a Muslim or a Buddhist.

Hence, we get the academe's celebration of voodoo in the Caribbean and Candomble in Brazil as vital expressions of Afro-Latin culture rather than destructive practices that hold Afro-Latins back. We get celebrations of Islam in the halls of institutions once founded by Christian clergy, like Harvard.

And how many of you knew that Ricky Ricardo's Babalu was based on the Santeria Afro-Orisha-Yoruba deity of Babalú-Ayé? Hollywood cleaned it up and Americanized Babalu in the 1950s; but Ricky Ricardo (Desi Arnaz) might as well have been singing to African demons. In fact, he was. Babalu was one nasty pagan deity. Of course, it is impolitic to say that,

((((I am not saying whites are superior, but Western civilization clearly is -- a result of Christianity, an outgrowth of Judaism. As we abandon that heritage, we will end up losing democracy, and running our countries as the Latins do ... by elites who seek only to sustain their class, while surrendering the poor pagans -- and indeed, many of the indigenous are pagan -- to their own devices, unworthy of education and enlightenment.))))

The Latin elites acted out of racism. They considered the darker elements inferior. Today, we are doing it out of a misapplication of egalitarianism. We consider our civilization unworthy to recommend. The effect is the same, a class of uneducated people will arise who can only be contained by force.

Islam, as bad as it is, is no match for this degree of anarchy. The inevitable result of multiculturalism will be the morass of Latin America. If you want to see where the West, and ultimately the world, is going, take a look at Eva Morales' Bolivia or Maduro's Venezuela.

This is World history and the history of mankind. The Romans did it to everyone they could find and the British, French, Portuguese and Spanish did it all the red, bronze and brown natives to the Americas. The Vikings failed but the European-American Christians did everything you fear and worse to everyone between Tierra del Fuego (Yaghan ) to the Aleutian Islands (Aleuts).

In the process, the Caucasians that were not from the Caucuses, wrecked, poisoned, raped. burned. shot, poleaxed, stabbed, shot and diseased and enslaved every human being they could not subdue. They brought their priests and whack job Christians and did everything possible to destroy the religions, edifices, culture and political organizations of every tribe and nation they invaded.

They stole their languages and imposed their “enlightened” views and horror on anyone that could not escape.

Over the years the human calamity was sanitized and perfumed to cover up the barbarity and the real American holocaust.

From the lifting of sanctions, the SALE of American HEAVY Water to Iran, to Obama supporting the acceptance of Iran into the WTO the Obama administration is trying to give Iran a hand up in the international arena which has already seen Iran receiving S300s and more.

No wonder why the Sunni world is totally freaking out...

Couple that with Iranian attempts (and un-known successes) to acquire Restricted Nuclear Technology...

    Now add the comments of:

Ahmad Karimpour, a senior adviser to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards’ elite unit al-Quds Force, said if Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei gave the order to destroy Israel, the Iranian military had the capacity to do so quickly.

“If the Supreme Leader’s orders [are] to be executed, with the abilities and the equipment at our disposal, we will raze the Zionist regime in less than eight minutes,” Karimpour said Thursday, according to the semi-official Fars News Agency.
A senior Iranian general on May 9 announced that the country’s armed forces successfully tested a precision-guided, medium-range ballistic missile two weeks earlier that could reach Israel, the state-run Tasnim agency reported.

Hillary Clinton's Lead Over Trump Shrinks After Controversial Week: Poll

by Hannah Hartig, John Lapinski and Stephanie Psyllos

Hillary Clinton's lead over Donald Trump narrowed to 3 points this week after several days of controversy following FBI Director James Comey's recommendation that no criminal charges be brought against the former secretary of state over her use of a private email server.

While the developments are certainly good news for the Clinton campaign, Comey's critical statement on Clinton's handling of the matter was not positive. Clinton's lead over Trump has deteriorated in the past couple weeks since her lead peaked two weeks ago.

A strong majority of voters (82 percent) agreed that it was inappropriate for Clinton to use a personal email server during her tenure as secretary of state. A smaller majority — 56 percent — also said they disagreed with Comey's recommendation that Clinton not be prosecuted for use of the server.

These results are according to the latest from the NBC News|SurveyMonkey Weekly Election Tracking Poll conducted online from July 4 through July 10, 2016. Survey questions pertaining to Clinton's email controversy were added following Comey's announcement....

  19. .

After the way they've been dissed by Obama, who can blame them ?

You dolt. You continue to flaunt your ignorance here. Obama has provided Israel with more aid than any other president, not only the regular annual baksheesh but also special allocations. Hell, when Israel was running out of missiles for Iron Dome in 2014 attacking Gaza they came to the US for a special appropriation.

Under Obama the US renewed its commitment to keep Israel with a qualitative edge.

Obama is the only president in recent history that has had Israel's back at the UN 100%. He has supported them on every issue that's come up there. Check it out, Bush didn't. Clinton didn't. Reagan didn't. At times, the US is the only player at the UN stopping anti-Israel actions proposed there.

And you whine when Obama criticizes Netanyahu. Ooooohhhh. Poor baby. You dumb shit. Everybody criticizes Netanyahu (except maybe David Cameron and the previous leader in Canada). Hell, even Australia is getting down on him. And why not? He is an arrogant prick.

The guy is a habitual liar. I don't know if it is congenital or psychotic. He's worse than Hillary Clinton. He makes up crazy stuff. He continued to say Hitler didn't dream up the Holocaust, that it was the Grand Mufti that sold Hitler on the idea. He kept it up until he couldn't take the ridicule from the world and every historian and newspaper in Israel. He's got Merkel pissed off at him because he misrepresented her position on the PA and the settlements. I could go on.

Right now the guy is being investigated for fraud and money laundering.

The worse is the utter contempt with which he views the US. You've seen it here a dozen times if you've bothered to watch the videos and articles that have been put up here. You've heard it in his own words. How can you defend that? That is, if you even bothered to read anything negative about him. You certainly won't find it in The American Thinker or Jihad Watch.

Is he grateful for the aid the US sends? Fuck no. He's insulted because it isn't more. He's been holding off signing an aid deal with Obama in hopes of getting a better deal later on. I love the way this is described as a 'negotiation'. What the hell is the US doing 'negotiating' on how much money they are going to give someone? Why should we be signing a long term agreement. Why don't we just send them a check at Christmas time at the same time we contribute to the United Fund or the Heat Foundation. Worse than that is the fact that the regular aid isn't all. There are always 'special allocations' popping up where additional allocations worth hundreds of millions are allocated for Israel every time it needs to carry on another war such as Gaza in 2014. We fund their wars at the same time we condemn them. What's wrong with picture?

WiO says Israel should just stop taking aid from the US. What a laugh. Easy to say. But if you think it would ever happen you're nutz. Bibi would be out of office in a New York minute if he ever cut off the golden goose.

And the latest thing, Congress has just allocated an 'extra' $500 million for Israel's missile programs (for all we know possibly the same missile program Deuce is talking about above). And the real topper, in order to stay within budget guidelines they took the money out the allocation for US missile programs. But do any of the useful idiots here complain about taking money from our forces to support Israel? Hell no.

Obama has proven he has Israel's back, not in words but in material and resources and support at the UN. And you pussies whine because he has called some prick who has insulted the US more than once what he is an ingrate. And while Bibi does all this you sheeple salute and say "Thank you sir, may I have another'.

You make me want to puke.

Distorting quirk an reality and proof texting comments.

There is no debating with folks like quirk, rat, rufus or deuce, they know what they know and refuse to see any other point you make.

Forget Obama's humiliation of Bibi, the shutting down Israel's only international airport (for us flights), the stopping of supplies DURING an actual war. Forget the uplifting of Israel's #1, #2, & #3 & #4 enemies Iran (150 billion, removal of sanctions, blind eye to terror and moe), Syria and the imaginary "red line" as 500,000 syrians are murdered and another 4 million are real refugees, creating the world' worse migrant problem, Hezbollah's American transition from a murderous terror group to an ally accepted by theObama admin on the SYRIAN border, Hamas funding over 1 billion in tunnel construction (even thought hamas and iran broke off ties for a while, Iran is back)

The simple story line that deuce, quirk, rufus and rat peddle is Israel is illegitimate, it is greedy, it is all about the money.

      The real news?

the world is waking up and seeing Iran, Hamas, Hezbollah, Assad and the PA for what they are.

      and it aint pretty

    2. Please, 90% of the World has it wrong including the majority in the US whereas Israel and the Diaspora Jews have it right.

Hamas, Hezbollah and The PA would not exist except for the 1940s European colony occupying Palestine and the continued Israel Anschluss of Bedouin lands.

    3. Deuce why do you ignore the Jewish people's legitimate right to it's lands?

There were Jews there BEORE the 1940's for thousands of years.

The League of Nations affirmed it.

      You deny it.

Israel has more rights to be a nation than America does.

After all aint you an "european colonist"?

You are full of crap, Wio.

You point out that there are bad actors in the ME. Big friggin deal. Tell us something we don't know. Israel is one of them. You point out the US is 'helping' Hezbollah 'by not attacking them' when both are supposedly fighting the same enemies,ISIS and other terrorist groups. You might as well blame us for not attacking Russia. And you forget that Israel is 'actually' helping the other side, al Qaeda and other terrorist groups in Syria, maybe even ISIS.

Forget Obama's humiliation of Bibi, the shutting down Israel's only international airport (for us flights)...

Who gives a rat's ass about humiliating that prick when American lives are at stake. Evidently, you do but what's new in that?

Then you offer up the Syrian problem and the migrants. What's that got to do with Israel. She sure as hell is not going to be bringing in a shitload of those immigrants. In fact, she is trying to kick thousands of the African asylum seekers out.

You are more interested in how Bibi looks than in US interests.

Humiliated Bibi. That's a laugh. His 'moment of silence' at the UN, that cartoon bomb, his cheap theatrics. Bibi humiliates Bibi daily.

And speaking of the Iranian deal, Obama signed it and it was in America's interest to have it signed. Something you wouldn't understand. And who was opposed? Bibi and his right wing supporters and those same US politicians and useful idiots in the public who are as Bibi put it 'easily moved'. The rest of the world? They loved it. So did Israel's military and intelligence leadership.

Given that, why was Bibi so adamant about it? Well, gee, what was his price for shutting up about it? Nuff said.

Quirk's stance on Israel and Bibi is that of a fiction writer

You throw out this charge all the time and the only one dumb enough to accept it is Bob. Strange how you never put specifics to the charge. How many times do you have to see that 2001 video of Bibi bragging about how he destroyed the peace process and denigrating the USA and saying 'how easily it is moved'? Or did you ever see it? It's been up here a number of times. Or, is your ignorance of the facts I've stated simply because you refuse to read anything negative about Israel.

Quit trying to divert the conversation. You have accused me of lying. Point out where I am lying. Specifically.
