COLLECTIVE MADNESS

“Soft despotism is a term coined by Alexis de Tocqueville describing the state into which a country overrun by "a network of small complicated rules" might degrade. Soft despotism is different from despotism (also called 'hard despotism') in the sense that it is not obvious to the people."

Shock and awe, Colin Powell endorses Obama

Who would have thought? What a game changer. What can be the connection? Is it leadership? Foreign policy excellence? Accomplishment?

You don't think it could be  be a 97% deal do you?

  1. O my no, not at all. As a military man, adviser to Presidents, diplomat, and Secretary of State, it is the way Obama left an Ambassador and three others to die in Libya and left for Sin City and The View that has so impressed him.

    1. I was thinking of this because I had been reading about Ohio, which is hanging by a thread, dependent upon such things as the turnout of Up-Tinos on one hand and young uneducated black women in the cities on the other, among several factors.

Romney needs about 60% or a little more in the rural areas to win, according to what I have read tonight.

      Damn the Amish.

  4. Because 90% of blacks voting for Obama is not racist, but a white person not voting for Obama is racist. And to think I once wanted Colin Powell to run for the top job. What do you get if you cross an elephant and a RINO? Elephino!

Brian Williams says Obama's crowd sizes are 10% of what they were in '08. Maybe because no single person in history has put more blacks out of work than BO.
