COLLECTIVE MADNESS

“Soft despotism is a term coined by Alexis de Tocqueville describing the state into which a country overrun by "a network of small complicated rules" might degrade. Soft despotism is different from despotism (also called 'hard despotism') in the sense that it is not obvious to the people."

The character of Abraham in the Bible is clearly a dangerous psychopath and why three major religions would proudly claim him as their common patriarch is a real mystery. Surely they would want to disown a man who was so insane that he was willing to kill his own child because he heard voices in his head telling him to do so and who also advocated the mutilation of male genitalia?

DETROIT: THE ARSON CAPITAL OF THE UNIVERSE

“It’s not safe here. It’s a war zone,” Terrence Coleman, a 52-year-old resident, said as embers from a blaze on Detroit’s east side rained down on him. “This whole neighborhood is going to burn down one day, I’m afraid.”…

In Detroit, arsons are so frequent – about 5,000 estimated last year by the Detroit Fire Department – that authorities can only investigate about one of every five suspicious fire cases, Fire Commissioner Don Austin said…

In a city that averages about 14 arsons a day, there are only 11 arson investigators, down from more than 20 in 2009…

With more than 80,000 abandoned buildings spread across 139 square miles, Detroit is fertile ground for arsonists. Homes that could never sell on the market are burned allegedly for insurance money, and people tired of abandoned buildings torch them, according to fire investigators. Thrill-seekers toss Molotov cocktails at vacant structures in drive-by arsons.

    1. This is where blue governance has brought Detroit in the end: not even a liberal Democratic administration will step in to save the pensions of thousands of public workers and African Americans, condemning countless innocents to having their pensions and health benefits gutted in bankruptcy court…

Progressive politicians, wonks, and activists can only blame big corporations and other liberal bogeymen for so long. The truth is that corrupt machine politics in a one-party system devoted to the blue social model wrecked an entire city and thousands of lives beyond repair. The sooner blues come to terms with this reality, the greater chance other cities will have of avoiding Detroit’s fate.

    2. With bankruptcy temporarily struck down, we’re told that “innovation hubs” and “enterprise zones” are the answer. Seriously? In my book After America, I observe that the physical decay of Detroit — the vacant and derelict lots for block after block after block — is as nothing compared to the decay of the city’s human capital. ***((((((Forty-seven percent of adults are functionally illiterate, which is about the same rate as the Central African Republic, which at least has the excuse that it was ruled throughout the Seventies by a cannibal emperor.)))))*** Why would any genuine innovator open a business in a Detroit “innovation hub”? Whom would you employ? The illiterates include a recent president of the school board, Otis Mathis, which doesn’t bode well for the potential work force a decade hence.

Given their respective starting points, one has to conclude that Detroit’s Democratic party makes a far more comprehensive wrecking crew than Emperor Bokassa ever did. No bombs, no invasions, no civil war, just “liberal” “progressive” politics day in, day out. Americans sigh and say, “Oh, well, Detroit’s an ‘outlier.’” It’s an outlier only in the sense that it happened here first. The same malign alliance between a corrupt political class, rapacious public-sector unions, and an ever more swollen army of welfare dependents has been adopted in the formally Golden State of California, and in large part by the Obama administration, whose priorities — “health” “care” “reform,” “immigration” “reform” — are determined by the same elite/union/dependency axis. As one droll tweeter put it, “If Obama had a city, it would look like Detroit.”…

Like Detroit, America has unfunded liabilities, to the tune of $220 trillion, according to the economist Laurence Kotlikoff. Like Detroit, it’s cosseting the government class and expanding the dependency class, to the point where its bipartisan “immigration reform” actively recruits 50–60 million low-skilled chain migrants. Like Detroit, America’s governing institutions are increasingly the corrupt enforcers of a one-party state — the IRS and Eric Holder’s amusingly misnamed Department of Justice being only the most obvious examples. Like Detroit, America is bifurcating into the class of “community organizers” and the unfortunate denizens of the communities so organized.

47% of the adults are functionally illiterate.

This is Huckleberry Heaven for those willing to live off the hopes and dreams of the down and outs.

    Dr. Who? Meshoe, that’s who.
Meshoe is a Christian fundamentalist nut job and part of the truly useful idiots to the zionists, who laugh at them behind their backs.

Kenneth Meshoe was born in Pretoria and is the fourth of seven children. He completed his Matric Certificate in 1972. In 1975 he graduated from the University of the North with a Secondary Teachers Diploma. In 1976, he married his wife, Lydia; they have three children.
In 1976, Kenneth and Lydia joined Christ For All Nations, and since February 1980 he became one of Reinhard Bonnke’s associate evangelists.

In January 1987, Kenneth went to Shekinah Bible Institute in Kingsport, Tennessee in the US, where he did his second year Theological Diploma.

In 1988, Kenneth started an independent church called Hope of Glory Tabernacle, which has steadily grown.

In December 1993, they started a political party based on biblical principles called the African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP), and Kenneth became its first President and has remained thus to date.

During the April 1994 elections the ACDP won two seats in National Parliament and three in Provincial Parliament. In the 1999 elections, they increased their support base by more than 300% and won 7 seats in the national parliament and 4 provincial in provincial legislatures. In April 2004 the Party grew to 7 members in National Parliament and 8 in Provincial legislatures.

During the Local Government Elections in December 2000 the ACDP increased its support by over 1000% from 5 councillors in 1995 to 62 councillors. The ACDP is now represented at local level in every province of South Africa.

Kenneth represents the ACDP at National Parliament, together with its other 6 MPs. Here he serves on the Portfolio Committee for Safety and Security. He also spends much time in his Gauteng constituency.

Kenneth Meshoe runs a very tight schedule and is invited to speak at many conferences both nationally and internationally, particularly on how to use prayer to bring about change in communities.

On the 18th December 1994, Kenneth Meshoe was awarded an Honorary Doctorate (Doctor of Humane Letters, abbreviated L.H.D.), by Bethel Christian College of Riverside, California, USA, and was also appointed to serve as an Associate Member on the Board of Regents of Bethel College.

  3. His second year theological diploma from the Shekinah Bible Institute of Kingsport, Tennessee Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from Bethel Christian College of Riverside, California should be more than enough to qualify him to be paraded out as a keynote speaker at the next AIPAC shindig.

  4. More on Rev. Uncle Tom Meshoe:

REVEREND KENNETH MESHOE'S BOYCOTT OF THE ANC CENTENARY CELEBRATIONS

It is unfortunate to learn that Reverend Kenneth Meshoe has decided not to honour such an august and historic event of the Centenary Celebrations of the African National Congress, an event which marks the remembrance of the Liberation of People of South Africa (both black and whitel) which includes his own emancipation.

What the good Reverend is missing is the historic fact that from its inception, the ANC is a formation of many social forces including interfaith and ecumenical formations with different beliefs, cultures and theologies. The character and policy of the ANC includes recognition, respect, and tolerance of all such religions and faith-based formations including African religion on a fair and equal basis.

To this end it is mischievous and misleading to suggest that the ANC is giving prominence to a particular faith over others, and what Reverend Meshoe must learn and understand is that the Centenary celebrations are not about worshipping ancestors. However, through the ceremonies and services which form part of the Centenary programme, the ANC will venerate the spirit of those who were part of its history. In accordance with African Theology principles which the ANC fully embraces and promotes, there is nothing wrong with the inclusion of African religious beliefs and practices.

If the good Reverend is not going to honour the invitation simply because of his fundamentalist Christian beliefs, that will show that he is practising religious intolerance - a behaviour which is totally unacceptable and a direct contravention of our Counstitution as well as the fundamental values and principles of Christianity.

  5. Here is the part where the Zionists have to hold their nose and make their side comments in Yiddish:

    http://www.hopeofgloryt.org/history.php

Check out the Mast head that states:

WHERE EVERYBODY IS SOMEBODY AND JESUS CHRIST IS LORD!!!

Now, may I ask our faithful colleague and defender of the faith, who hangs on Dr. Meshoe’s every word, does he believe that everybody is somebody and Jesus Christ is Lord?

No, not really, speak up, you have a problem with that, nothing?

  6. More from the always credible authority, Dr. Meshoe’s own website:

As the classroom became small with each meeting, we had to move to a community hall that we used for almost two years. Within two months of using the community hall, we received a letter from the local City Council instructing us to find an alternative venue for our church services as we had to stop using their facilities within a month.

The reasons they gave for their decision were twofold: Firstly, they said we were wasting electricity and secondly they said people in the neighborhood were complaining about the noise we were allegedly making with our singing accompanied by musical instruments.

As both reasons didn't hold water, I concluded that Satan was using our City Council to try and frustrate God's plan and our ministry. I read the letter to our young congregation in our Sunday morning service, and they all said, “We are not moving".

Weeks prior to this incident, the Lord had spoken to us from Matthew 18:18 which in the Good News translation says, "Whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven, and whatever you prohibit on earth will be prohibited in heaven". On a number of occasions when the enemy was attacking us, we stood on Matt.18:18 and stopped the attacks in Jesus' name. So, when our members said "we are not moving", I knew that it was time for spiritual warfare. We dealt with this threat in the spirit until the enemy backed off. The Lord taught us that battles must first be won in the spirit before any desirable outcome manifests in the natural. Because of our resolve to deal with this matter in the spirit, the Lord granted us the victory and we were able to use the same community hall for more than two years until we outgrew it and were ready to move to our own tent.

  7. I think that Dr. Meshoe should take his choir, accompanied by their musical instruments and words of wisdom to the next AIPAC gathering of the staff of the US Conga Line and really get that place a’rockin.

    Alleluia, thank you Jesus.
