      Furious residents accuse council of cover-up

      Three Syrian refugees reportedly raped a little girl at knifepoint in Idaho before urinating on her body, an incident that prompted furious residents to accuse Twin Falls city council members of covering up the assault.



      The sexual assault allegedly took place on June 2, but has received virtually no media attention aside from one vague KMVT report.

      However, residents have been circulating what really happened on social media, with the Creeping Sharia blog reporting that the victim was a young girl who was born premature and is “less developed for her age”.


      The perpetrators were three Syrian youths aged 8, 10 and 13, with the oldest boy directing the assault.

      The little girl was playing outside Fawnbrook apartment buildings when the boys put a knife to her throat and forced her inside a laundry unit. She was then stripped naked, raped and urinated on. The 13-year-old reportedly told the younger boys to urinate on her because they were incapable of ejaculating.

      The victim’s grandmother found the victim and then called the girl’s mother, who called the police. The police took 2 and a half hours to arrive but were unable to take any action due to the “language barrier”.

      When she arrived, the mother of the alleged rapists was only able to say “no police,” while the father reportedly congratulated his 13-year-old son. Video of the entire assault was captured on the boy’s cellphone.

      A follow-up KMTV report revealed that, “the case has officially been sealed by a judge with no chance of it ever being unsealed since all parties involved are minors.”

      A video of a Twin Falls council meeting shows irate residents demanding to know why council members have done nothing to address the alleged rape, as well as numerous other issues involving Syrian refugees being housed in the area, including hit and run incidents and Muslims spitting on non-Muslims.

      Around 50 Syrian “refugees” are reportedly housed at the Fawnbrook site.

      Council members were also grilled as to how a mosque was approved after just 24 hours, whereas a new home application would take at least 2 weeks just to process.

      In every instance, the council members claim ignorance as to the severity of the situation, with one even suggesting that residents’ concerns are based on anti-Muslim prejudice and even white supremacism.

      It began with racist taunts and pranks, escalated to physical harassment and ended, according to a lawsuit filed in federal court in Idaho, in a horrific act of rape by three white high school football players against their mentally disabled, African American teammate.

  7. Corrected Gravis poll has Trump well out in front of Clinton at national level

    After an onslaught of highly liberal biased polls against Donald Trump during the past week, it was refreshing to see an only modestly biased poll -- in relative terms -- released on Saturday by Gravis.

    In its biased form, the poll shows Trump only 2% behind Hillary Clinton in the head-to-head matchup, far below the ridiculously large Clinton leads of up to 12% that Bloomberg and other leftist media outlets had been oozing of late.

    But once we correct for biases in this Gravis poll, Trump is undoubtedly now well out in front of Clinton.

    In the poll's demographics, 40% of respondents said they were Democrats compared to just 33% who were Republicans. This 7% Democrat advantage is almost assuredly about 6% above where it should be -- meaning Clinton's narrow 2% lead should likely be upwards of at least a 4% deficit behind Trump.

    Further evidence of liberal bias in the poll comes from questions about Tea Party support, abortion, religious affiliation, and education.

    Just 11% of those surveyed said they were members of the Tea Party. This value should be about 17%, suggesting -- as with the party affiliation -- about a 6% liberal bias.

    The poll also shows a 17% advantage to pro-choice over pro-life, well above the known 6% spread in favor of pro-choice. This signifies a major liberal bias in the demographics, as the pro-choice side has not had an advantage larger than 10% since the 1990s.

    When it comes to religious affiliation, the poll oversampled Muslims (2% versus 1%) and Catholics (25% versus less than 21%), and looks to have massively undersampled Evangelicals (10% versus 25%), resulting in more liberal bias. Evangelicals will vote dominantly for Trump, whereas Muslims and many Catholics are likely to lean towards Clinton.

    A full 50% of the poll's respondents had a Bachelor's degree or higher, compared to 34% in reality, introducing more liberal bias.

    Based on the full range of liberal biases present, a reasonable estimate of Trump's actual lead over Clinton is in the range of at least 5% once the polling data is corrected.

    I support America and it's interests. AND I support Israel right to be a Jewish state in it's historic lands, a refugee for all Jews across the globe.

    As an American I have the duty to point out that supporting truly evil regimes (like Iran, Hamas, Saudi Arabia ((and more)) is not in American interests.

    But now Egypt is facing escalating threats in the Sinai from the Brotherhood's Hamas affiliate in Gaza, as multiple reports in recent weeks have placed Islamic State (IS) figures meeting with Hamas officials in Gaza, and Hamas training IS troops with heavy anti-tank weaponry.

    This as the foreign policy 'smart set' continues to deem Hamas the 'moderate' jihadists who serve as a firewall between 'violent extremist' groups like IS.

Israel was surprised to learn of the ties given previous clashes in Gaza between Hamas and Islamic State sympathizers, the official said.

      I couldn't actually get at the Channel 2 report itself.

      Sinai Province has pledged allegiance to Islamic State and is developing ties with Hamas.

      The rise of an Islamic State affiliate in Egypt is altering the security landscape in a critical corner of the Middle East, according to ­Israeli and Western officials.

      Militants with Sinai Province, which has pledged allegiance to the extremist group, have developed ties with the Palestinian movement Hamas that rules the neighbouring Gaza Strip, despite deep ideological differences ­between the two Islamist groups, the officials said.

      The ties include help with smuggling and medical care, they said. Officials in Israel, which has likened Hamas to Islamic State, said the co-operation had also ­extended to military training. Hamas officials denied any involvement with Sinai Province.

      Egypt’s and Israel’s shared concern about Sinai Province’s growing threat is spurring deeper security co-operation, according to the officials. Israel has let Egypt bring more sophisticated weapons into its restive Sinai Peninsula than allowed under their 1979 peace treaty, in a bid to help counter the group, they said.

      “The relationship has probably never been stronger in terms of assistance in military operations to attack ISIS in Sinai,” US congressman Michael McCaul, chairman of the House Committee on Homeland Security, said after meetings with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and other Egyptian security officials in Cairo recently. ISIS is ­another name for Islamic State.

      The developments show that Islamic State is able to build relationships and shape events far afield even as the group’s control over territory in Syria and Iraq is weakening, just as the attacks in Brussels and Paris linked to the group demonstrated its reach.

      Sinai Province was created by up to 1000 jihadists with a group previously known as Ansar Beit al-Maqdis that pledged allegiance to Islamic State in 2014. The group, based in Sinai, has launched deadly attacks in Egypt and claimed responsibility for blowing up a Russian jet in October, killing 224 people.

      The group is in regular contact with Islamic State’s leadership, which helps fund the local affiliate and promote it through ­Islamic State’s extensive social media network, said Israeli officials, Egyptian security officials and independent researchers.

      Sinai Province and Hamas are both Sunni Muslim-led groups, but Hamas does not share the same strict interpretation of Islam.

      Sinai Province operates in territory on the peninsula where the entrances of smuggling tunnels that lead to Gaza are located, ­according to smugglers and diggers who work on tunnels. That has led to a pragmatic arrangement between Sinai Province and Hamas, Israeli and Western officials said.

      Egypt’s defence and interior ministries have said the ties ­between the two groups have ­included co-ordination on ­attacks in north Sinai.

      Later last year, Hamas operatives spent a month in the Sinai ­region teaching militants how to fire anti-tank missiles, Israeli officials said.

      Hamas subsequently received Russian-made anti-tank missiles via the smuggling network Sinai Province controls, an Israeli ­defence official said.

  14. (IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – On Monday, Nineveh Operations Command announced finishing the second phase of the liberation operations of the areas south of Mosul, while emphasized that the second phase of the operations has achieved its goals.

    The Media Officer of Nineveh Operations, Brigadier General Feras Bashar Sabry, said in a press statement, a copy of which was obtained by Iraqi News, “The second phase of the military operations [launched to liberate the areas south of Mosul] had finished after achieving all its goals,” noting that, “The operations resulted in the liberation of a number of villages including al-Nasr, Kharaeb Jabr and Kharaeb Shamam.”

    Trump by 7 points among registered voters and by 8 points among likely voters.
    The Democrat’s lead
    shrinks by a point when potential third party support is taken into account. Both major party nominees
    remain unpopular, but more voters say it is important to keep Trump rather than Clinton out of the White
    House.

    The latest Monmouth University Poll also finds that attitudes towards terrorism and the
    Republican nominee’s proposed Muslim ban have not changed much since the Orlando tragedy.

    Currently, Clinton holds a 7 point lead in a direct match-up against Trump – 47% to 40% among
    registered voters nationally. Among those who are likely to cast ballots in November, the Democrat’s
    edge expands to 49%–41%.

    Importantly, Clinton holds a 47% to 39% lead in the all-important swing
    states – ten states where the winning margin in the 2012 election was less than seven points.

    Clinton has the support of 87% of Democrats and Trump has the support of 84% of Republicans,
    while independents split 42% for Clinton and 37% for Trump. The gender gap is particularly large,
    Clinton leads among women by 27 points (57%–30%) while Trump leads among men by 13 points
    (50%–37%). Clinton also holds a commanding advantage among black, Hispanic and Asian voters
    (72%–17%), while Trump leads among white voters (49%–38%).
    When Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson and leading Green Party candidate Jill Stein are added
    to the mix, Clinton’s lead shrinks slightly to 6 points among registered voters – 42% to 36% for Trump,
    with Johnson earning 9% and Stein getting 4%.

    Clinton leads Trump by 7 points – 44% to 37% – among
    likely voters in this four-way contest.

    The Second Amendment Isn’t About Hunting or Self-Defense, But Revolution

    After Orlando, some are calling for stricter gun laws, or even a repeal of the Second Amendment. But gun rights and liberty are inseparable.

    Last week, Rolling Stone published an article by David S. Cohen, a law professor who thinks the Second Amendment should be repealed. “The Second Amendment needs to be repealed because it is outdated, a threat to liberty and a suicide pact,” writes Cohen. “When the Second Amendment was adopted in 1791, there were no weapons remotely like the AR-15 assault rifle and many of the advances of modern weaponry were long from being invented or popularized.”


    In the wake of the Orlando massacre, Cohen reasons, “now is the time to acknowledge a profound but obvious truth—the Second Amendment is wrong for this country and needs to be jettisoned.”

    This isn’t the first time liberals have mused out loud about whether the Second Amendment is really necessary, or whether it really means individuals have a right to own guns. But tragedies like Orlando seem to revive all the old arguments. Not that commentators are very knowledgeable about the weapons they’d like to ban. An AR-15, for example, can’t fire 700 rounds per minute, nor can any guy who’s taken a shop class modify a semi-automatic rifle into a fully automatic in five minutes, as Michael Moore seems to think.


    But even if an AR-15 only fires once every time you squeeze the trigger, even if it can’t be easily converted into an automatic, just taking the rifle for what it is, liberals want to know: who needs a gun like that? How many rounds do you need to be able to fire per minute to kill a deer, or ward off a burglar? Does anyone really need a 25-round magazine? Isn’t the only reason for such firepower to make killing people as efficient as possible? Isn’t this a weapon of war? Why would American civilians need to own weapons of war?


    The Second Amendment Guarantees the Right of Revolution

    Turns out, that’s precisely the right question to ask. The Second Amendment, after all, doesn’t recognize our right to hunt deer or protect ourselves from criminals. Owning guns certainly makes doing those things easier, but it’s not why the Founders bothered to codify gun rights. They were getting at something else—the right of revolution.


    Simply put, the purpose of the Second Amendment is to give the people the means to overthrow the government in the event it becomes tyrannical.

    Most gun control advocates scoff at this. Indeed, it’s an argument that even some conservatives are hesitant to make. How could the people, armed with rifles and pistols, overthrow the government? On its face, it seems absurd.


    More on that in a minute. But first, consider that the Second Amendment is unique among the amendments enumerated in the Bill of Rights because it contains a kind of explanatory preamble: “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

Erler, a political science professor at California State University, San Bernardino, and an expert on the Second Amendment, has argued that the right of revolution is asserted in the Declaration of Independence, which states that governments derive their “just powers from the consent of the governed”—not every power, only “just powers,” which the people delegate to a government that is by definition limited to the purposes for which it was established, “the Safety and Happiness” of the people. Furthermore, the Declaration states that “whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government.” Erler says this is what has come to be known as the right of revolution,



      an essential ingredient of the social compact and a right which is always reserved to the people. The people can never cede or delegate this ultimate expression of sovereign power. Thus, in a very important sense, the right of revolution (or even its threat) is the right that guarantees every other right. And if the people have this right as an indefeasible aspect of their sovereignty, then, by necessity, the people also have a right to the means to revolution. Only an armed people are a sovereign people, and only an armed people are a free people—the people are indeed a militia.






      In recent years an argument has become popular on the American Left that the Second Amendment means only that a “well regulated militia” has the right to bear arms, not individuals. The idea is that, say, the State of Texas can form a militia and arm it accordingly, but individual Texans have no inherent right to the private ownership of firearms.


      In 2008, the U.S. Supreme Court repudiated this idea in the case of District of Columbia v. Heller. The late Justice Antonin Scalia wrote the opinion for the majority and quoted Blackstone’s Commentaries on the Laws of England, which recognizes “the natural right of resistance and self-preservation.” Scalia insisted that the Second Amendment acknowledges rights that predate the Constitution, such as the right of revolution.


      But Erler argues that Scalia “was wrong to imply that Second Amendment rights were codified from the common law—they were, in fact, ‘natural rights,’ deriving their status from the ‘Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God.’… Like the right to revolution, the right to self-defense or self-preservation can never be ceded to government.”

    2. In Case of Civil War, Americans Need to be Armed

      So what does this mean in practice? Are we to conclude that the Founders imagined a day when civilians armed with AR-15s and Glocks might one day march on Washington DC if the government ever became tyrannical? If the Second Amendment guarantees our right to the means of revolution, does that mean civilians should also be allowed to own tanks and artillery?






      Not quite. The Founders thought standing armies were a threat to liberty, which means they surely would have thought that standing private armies constituted the same threat. Self-preservation and self-defense might be natural right, but even in Heller the Supreme Court indicated that there could be reasonable limitations on gun ownership.


      To answer the scoffers on the Left, though, imagine what an American revolution—the exercise of first principles—might look like in the twenty-first century. The government, or a branch of it (most likely the executive) becomes destructive to the ends for which it was established. It tyrannizes the people, takes their property, deprives them of their rights, destroys their lives. A revolution, or an abolishment of that government, would likely not be a civilian undertaking but a military one. Working in conjunction with other branches of the federal government and perhaps some state governments, the military would effect a coup d’Ă©tat.


      It would likely be a kind of civil war, and civilians would likely be caught up in it at some point. Perhaps they would form local militias to defend their homes and businesses. Perhaps they would volunteer their services to military commanders or state police forces. Perhaps they would simply want to ensure the safety of their families.


      To do any of that, they would need to be armed. Just as the Founders envisioned.
