Changes in the blog

Due to some egregious bad manners and habitual disruptive behavior of a few, I find it necessary to change the comment section of the blog. Other changes will be made, but at a minimum I will require an email address from commenters. I reserve the right to open comments up at certain times, but I do intend to prohibit those whose only intent is to disrupt.

No email will be shared with anyone. I am not looking for pen-pals. I moderate and provide creative content to aprox 40 other commercial blogs and have a limited  amount of time to waste dealing with a few senior delinquents.

You can apply to be a blog member by sending an email to: Elephant95@comcast.net

If there is enough interest, we will continue. If not, no hard feelings but I am not wasting time that I value.

Deuce

  4. I saw a brief review of this yesterday, done by Woodward, I believe. If Obama were up for reelection, it could be devastating. It does not hurt Hillary as far as I could discern. Some members of Congress are going to come out looking like pompous prima donnas. Obama’s staff seems nice enough, but not high wattage.

It seemed to me, after a very cursory look, that Gate's hates the system.

Robert Gates's memoirs add to the sense that Obama's presidency is unraveling

    1. When Gates resigned, the President said, "I suppose this means you're gonna piss on my grave, right?" Gates replied that he would not, because he promised himself that he would never wait in another line again.

    2. Gates could have disclosed some of this before the last election.

It would have been the right thing to do.

  6. Does Christie still have a fat chance of becoming President or is it now a bridge too far?

Since he did well in the press conference seems he is still in the game, unless it comes out that he knew about it.

    If that happens he's toast.

My wife likes him saying at least he can control the traffic......

    2. Big issue.

I think I can just see my way to a criminal charge being brought against the closers for reckless endangerment.

A big civil suit for wrongful death is a certainty.

Lawsuit filed against Christie, others over jams

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) -- Six New Jersey residents have filed a federal lawsuit against Gov. Chris Christie, the state of New Jersey, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and others over traffic jams in September.

The suit filed in federal court Thursday appears to be the first civil claim over traffic jams that appear to have been caused as political punishment for the Fort Lee mayor.

The plaintiffs want it certified as a class action.

Lawyer Rosemarie Arnold says she filed it after learning this week that lane closures on an approach to the George Washington Bridge were "deliberate actions." She says that her clients were late for work and that one suffered a panic attack.

Christie has denied involvement. His spokesman did not respond to an email seeking comment.

      *****

One must admit the lawyers are quick on the draw these days.

      Seeking a class action, too.

Tip of the ice berg.....wrongful death and reckless endangerment on deck....
