John McCain for US President
This photo of Obama is a mistake. He gains nothing by dressing like this trying to convince people that he has the right stuff to be President. He is showing a lot of confidence that he already has it wrapped up. The American voter wants to see a leader not a basketball star.
Mat's the coffee meister, mld, he'll help you out.
Going to the coast, Linear.
Gotta get ready and go.
Here's an independent minded Native American that doesn't want anything to do with Obama---
Only true surprise I find about American presidential elections this year is a vast majority of Obama supporters are adamantly bent on rendering America a pseudo Marxist nation. This call for rendering America a socialist welfare nation by Obama and his supporters, this truly does surprise me.
Quite ironic an American Indian, like me, an American Indian who has every right to "hate" America, is fighting to defend our Spirit of America, fighting to defend our American ideals, fighting to defend our founding principles of Freedom and Democracy.
Appears there is a Free Lunch in life, appears half or more of Americans expect a Free Lunch paid for by hard working successful Americans.
Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! Give me all I want for free, I am an American! Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! I do not have to work for a living, I am an American!
Gimme my welfare check, Barack!
When I was born, my peoples, we Indians, were not granted American citizenship, were not granted a right to vote. We fought long and hard for citizenship and a right to vote. We won.
Today, Americans are fighting for welfare checks in their mailboxes.
I believe I will pack up my family, head back to our Indian lands, then lead a life of honest hard work, of independence and of pride.
Our family enjoys pride, we will never become welfare recipients; we always have and always will earn our lunch.
We are Americans, not Marxists.

Smuthrob adds to reader value, "I agree with the American Indian's post. I do all I can to keep this country away from socialism. I thank God I have resources that will sustain me if I decide to stop working if Obama is elected. I do not intend to have money I have worked hard for redistributed."
Obama made a target of our youth for reason; young people are gullible and impressionable.
However, our nation's wealth does not lie within the hands of the young. Obama is in for a surprise. Obama can attempt to redistribute wealth but will not have much luck. In the end, Obama will bankrupt our America.
Reason for this is many of us who work hard and are successful will move our money around, will seek a variety of tax shelters. Obama can only tax earned income each fiscal year. Our family, like millions of families, will reduce our tax exposure to a level we pay minimal taxes or no taxes. A majority of us will reduce, almost remove, our American tax base. Net effect is we will deny Obama our wealth; he will have no wealth to seize then redistribute.
Obama can work at rendering America a pseudo Marxist society but without a healthy tax base he will only succeed in bankrupting our country.
Obama will only lead our country to economic disaster.
Interesting, the prime message one takes away from that Savage clip is how many organizations have endorsed Obama. That, and Savages fear that Obama is another Pol Pot. riiiight! That'll help McCain.
Hey, for an insight into McCain why don't you highlight the Meet The Press bit where he tries to name the Secs. of State that back him?

I think McCain is going to win this thing. _____________ The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows Barack Obama attracting 50% of the vote nationwide while John McCain earns 47%. This is the first time McCain has been within three points of Obama in more than a month and the first time his support has topped 46% since September 24 (see trends). One percent (1%) of voters prefer a third-party option and 2% are undecided.
I would hardly expect McCain to throw in the towel and there are enough repub 'team' voters to give him some votes. I'm sure there are many who also think he and Palin would be good in office. One of the dangers for Obama is the wholesale media (and blogger world) notion that Obama will win so many may not bother to go out and vote.
That, and Savages fear that Obama is another Pol Pot. riiiight! That'll help McCain.
I heard the original broadcast. Savage qualified the Pol Pot reference (twice as I recall, but you know my memory) by clearly saying he wasn't predicting Obama to be another Pol Pot, but that Pol Pot was another academic who extended the Marxist ideology to his own country when he came to power, and then let his thugs do the dirty work in the killing fields.

Sen. John McCain's once-comfortable lead in Arizona has all but evaporated, according to a new poll that has the underdog Republican presidential candidate struggling in his own backyard.
With less than a week until Election Day, McCain is leading his Democratic rival, Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, by 2 points, 46 to 44, down from a 7-point lead a month ago and a double-digit lead this summer, according to a poll from Arizona State University.
Factor in the 3-percentage point margin of error, and a race that was once a nearly sure thing for McCain is now a toss-up, pollsters say. "One would think McCain would still carry Arizona, but anybody who says they can predict the state this time, they can't. It's going to depend on who goes to the polls," said Tara Blanc, associate director of the poll, which was done by ASU's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and local PBS affiliate Channel 8 (KAET).
The poll of about 1,000 registered voters indicated about 9 percent are undecided, giving campaigns few people to convince in the next six days.
Working in McCain's favor, the state has 1.1 million registered Republicans, about 96,000 more than Democrats.
In Obama's favor, the state has about 824,000 independent voters who support Obama over McCain 60 percent to 40 percent, according to the poll.

(CNN) – New England's lone House Republican appears to have publicly broken with his party's standard-bearer, saying John McCain has not run a clean campaign and is likely to lose his bid for the presidency.
"I just don't see how [McCain] can win," Connecticut Rep. Chris Shays told the Yale Daily News earlier this week. "He has lost his brand as a maverick; he did not live up to his pledge to fight a clean campaign." Shays, who in 2006 became the only Republican congressman from New England, perennially finds himself in a heated re-election race.
In his Yaale Daily News interview, Shays did not endorse Barack Obama, and said he remained skeptical the Illinois senator will govern from the center if he is elected president.
“It’s what all presidents should do, but [Obama] has never been there,” he said of Obama's ideological orientation. Shays is a co-chairman of McCain's campaign efforts in Connecticut.

Smoking is responsible for one in every five U.S. deaths, according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
