Barack Obama and his Muslim Family

Obama and his Muslim family ... back row from left: Unknown, Barack Obama, half-brother Malik, unknown, half-brother Abo, Bernard. Front: Half-sister Auma, stepmum Kezia, stepgran Sarah, unknown.

Bernard converted to Islam 18 years ago. The dad of one said: “I’m a Muslim, I don’t deny it. My father was raised a Muslim.

“But it’s not an issue. I don’t know what all the hullabaloo is about.”

Guest Post from Belmont Club blogger:

Morton Doodslag:

As long as we’re discussing leftist media bias, and selective truth telling, I was astounded to read an item about Barack Obama’s brother yesterday, linked at Drudge. It may still be there. It’s entitled “Found! Obama’s brother!”
If one reads this article carefully, one learns that Barack Obama’s father must have been a polygamous Muslim, and that he continued to sire children with his first wife even after he’d married BHO’s wife. Further, BHO’s mother probably knew about it. Obama Sr. frequently returned to Kenya, and BHO’s half siblings through that marriage are both older and younger than he. I suspect if some PajamasMedia sleuth were to try, no divorce documents or claims can be found.

Compare the complete non-mentioning of this jaw-dropping Fact to the smears and claims of Mormon polygamy with media reporting on Romney.

I’m unaware of any claim that Romney’s family was polygamous, but he was widely smeared with this through innuendo. Whereas BHO is almost certainly a byproduct of a fricking Muslim harem!

But the PC rules viciously preclude even mentioning the fact. Even many I. The right, so eager to show they’re not Islamiphobic, buy into the clampdown on discussing BHO’s blatant Muslim roots and the implications.

In the somewhat silly Harry Potter series, the characters are gripped by a hysterical avoidance of mentioning the name of the man who threatens them with destruction. The antagonist in the story is regularly referred to as “He who must not be named”.

Muslims and Leftists have successfully waged a campaign of fear and intimidation so that even mentioning the incontrovertible facts surrounding this BHO phenom is out of bounds.

I had never read anything in the media about this harem detail in BHO’s past. Even the British article only hinted obliquely to this revelation by a passing reference to the age of BHO’s younger brother. If one didn’t ponder the significance of it, one would not have gathered the fact that BHO Sr. returned many times to his first wife, whom he probably never divorced, and continued to sire children with her after marrying BHO’s mother and having HIM.

When every peccadillo of our right wing politicians, real or imagined, becomes a feeding frenzy in our media, and the first black Muslim born offspring of an Islamic harem is blatantly glossed over and placed off limits through vicious Press attacks and intimidation, you know we’ve gone very far down some kind of scary rabbit hole.

If it were a Mozart opera, we could laugh at the high farce of it all. But a nightmare is unfolding, and the monsters are not being named. Except here.

Obama's brother is in Bracknell
By OLIVER HARVEY The Sun
Chief Feature Writer
Published: Today

HE may be living in a Bracknell council house, but soon he could be dining with his brother at the White House.

The Sun was the first newspaper to track down and speak to Bernard Obama, 37.

And he said of Democrat candidate Barack: “I’m very proud of my big brother.

“It’s quite a funny feeling that he might be the next President of the USA.”

Muslim Bernard — an avid Manchester United fan and Sun reader — is staying with his bingo-loving mum Kezia, 67, who has lived in the Berkshire new town for six years.

He was glued to the TV news in the modest suburban bungalow last night as Barack, 46, was due to arrive in Britain.

Bernard leads a quiet life, running a car parts firm in Nairobi, Kenya.

But he is a regular visitor to the UK to visit Elvis fan Kezia.

She married Barack Obama Snr in Kenya in 1957 when she was a teenager.

He later left for the US and went on to meet Ann Dunham, who gave birth to his now widely acclaimed son.

Obama Snr, a Kenyan goatherd who became a leading economist in his east African homeland’s government, was killed in a car crash in 1982.

Barack Jnr was 21 and Bernard 12. He said: “Our father passed away when I was young and I didn’t get the chance to get to know him very well.

“When you lose your dad at such a young age, that’s when you really miss him.”

Bernard smiled when he spoke of his famous half-brother. He said:

I was around 17 when I first met Barack.

He was visiting Kenya and it was obvious from the way he spoke and his charisma that he was going to be a success.

He is charming, very good company and very charismatic.

I’ve met him since with his wife Michelle in Kenya. She’s very nice, a very strong and intelligent person. I don’t think we will see him on this visit to Britain. It’s official business and he’ll be very busy.

Bernard is remaining with Kezia for the next month as she recuperates from illness.

Barefoot and dressed in cream shorts and red T-shirt, he said: “I love coming to Britain because I love football and I like reading about it in The Sun.

Converted

“I’m a big Manchester United fan but I think Barack’s more into basketball.”

Bernard converted to Islam 18 years ago. The dad of one said: “I’m a Muslim, I don’t deny it. My father was raised a Muslim.

“But it’s not an issue. I don’t know what all the hullabaloo is about.”

Barack is a staunch Christian. A recent cartoon in the New Yorker magazine caused a furore by portraying him as a turban-wearing Muslim and his wife as a terrorist.

In February, photos emerged of Barack in traditional Somali robes during a trip to Kenya in 2006.

But Bernard dismissed jibes about Barack’s religion and said there was no significance to the photos.

He added: “If you go to Japan or Nigeria you put on the traditional dress. People are trying to look for ways to tarnish him.”

In his biography, Dreams From My Father, Barack told of meeting Bernard in Kenya.

He wrote: “That sweetness, the lack of guile, made him seem much younger than his 17 years.

“As we stepped into the street, Bernard draped his arm over my shoulder. ‘It’s good to have a big brother around,’ he said, before waving goodbye and vanishing into the crowd.”

The pair’s dad left Kenya in 1959 when he took up a US scholarship. Kezia, then three months’ pregnant with daughter Auma, already had a year-old son Malik to look after.

Barack Snr met Barack’s mum Ann in Hawaii, and she gave birth to the now presidential hopeful in August 1961.

The Democrat’s dad returned to Kenya in 1965 and Kezia subsequently gave birth to two sons, Abo in 1968 and Bernard in 1970.

Raunchy

Barack’s former brother-in-law Ian Manners, 55 — divorced from Bernard’s and Barack’s sister Auma — is writing a book about his in-laws.

Daughter Akinyi, 11, spent Christmas with Barack in the US. She said: “I asked him if I could meet Beyonce. He smiled and said he’d see what he could do.”

Barack attended Ian’s 1996 wedding to Auma and famously ran out of a pub in Wokingham, Berks, during Ian’s stag bash when a raunchy dancer took to the stage.

Businessman Ian said: “We were having a few drinks, then a stripper dressed as a St Trinian’s schoolgirl appeared.

“She was no Miss World and it was the last thing I wanted. As soon as Barack saw what was about to happen he made a hasty retreat.

“He was in politics already and left the pub immediately.”

Ian added: “I played a couple of rounds of golf with him in 1997.

“We had to go to a municipal course because golf clubs wouldn’t have been keen on a black man playing on their course back then.

“He is very competitive and beat me both times. It was obvious Barack was going to get to the top.”

Bernard agreed, saying: “Barack is going to win the election, definitely, and I want to be in the US for his inauguration.

“He will be a breath of fresh air for the world.”

Obama is no more the seed of Ishmael than I am the seed of King Philip of Spain. Muslim missionaries went to Kenya and made some conversions. Islam is a lifestyle choice, albeit one you can't reverse once you embark on it, lest you face the headsman's rusty knife...in places outside of the United States. What makes America so great is that even Muslims can discard their ethnic past and remake themselves as anything they wish, without fear of honor killings. France can't say that. Barack Obama is a Protestant Christian. Who gives a crap what his brother is?

  3. The most troubling aspect about the Obama candidacy is not the iexperienced candidate, it's the thrall resulting from the confluence of events and circumstances. Despite the fact that Obama is relatively unknown and for that matter not totally forthcoming about his intentions, the world has suspended it scruples and adopted a credulity which at the very least could lead to bitter disappointment and disillusionment.

Vague promises of "hope and change", projection, disappointment.

  7. TRY LEAVING ISLAM in AMerica

They have dishonored our shores for quite some time and more keep coming our way.

I am talking about honor killings in North America. In The Death of Feminism, I write about honor murders in Missouri, Ohio, and in parts of New Jersey, New York, and Canada which took place during the last quarter-century.

Just yesterday, an Egyptian Arab Muslim father in Dallas, Texas allegedly shot his two beautiful teenage daughters to death because he disapproved of their American-style ways. Their names were Amina and Sarah Said and their father’s name was Yasser Abdul Said. The girls looked sassy and full of life; they looked like Dallas teenagers. They were 17 and 18 years old and their friends considered them “geniuses.” Abdul was a taxi driver. (In parts of Europe, taxi drivers are known to aid and abet honor murders).

Perhaps how Amina and Sarah dressed, and how they thought, shamed their father Yasser. He was no longer in control of his women–a mark of shame which provoked his need to kill them. Perhaps their flowering sexuality enraged him because it made him desire them–and from this he concluded that other men might desire them too and if he could not have them, no man could.

The blogs and the local Texas media (the Dallas Morning News) were all over this. Hot Air, Atlas Shrugs, Jihad Watch, were too. The only national coverage of this story was contained in the Washington Times. SEE HERE Why did the national and international media so far shy clear of this story? Perhaps they chose to dig deeper first or maybe they were waiting for an arrest to be made. But one also wonders: Were they afraid of being accused of “Islamophobia” if they reported the truth? Did they not want to use the word “Arab” or “Muslim” lest they be attacked as “racists”?

As of 4pm est on January 3rd, the mainstream media had still not covered this honor murder or the ongoing manhunt for the alleged killer–their father. Robert Stacey McCain of the Washington Times, just published a piece with some more details. Apparently, Amina and Sarah not only had “boyfriends,” their boyfriends were non-Muslims! They told their friends that their father was angry with them for “not acting like proper Muslim girls.”

Thus, these beautiful and now murdered sisters feared for their lives. They told people that their father was threatening them. Their own mother has now led police to the father as the probable murderer.

They could have been saved if a school or police official had been trained to pre-emptively recognize and rescue all such girls and women in danger of being killed by their families in honor killings.

    NEWSFLASHES:

Earlier today, on January 3, 2008, the hardcopy edition of the New York Times carried a story about a presumably non-Muslim honor killing in Chicago, in which a father, Subhash Chander, killed his pregnant daughter, son-in-law and 3 year-old grandson “because he disapproved of his daughter’s marriage” to a lower-caste man. All the protagonists are from India or are of Indian origin. So far, I can find no coverage of the Texas honor killing by a Muslim father in the pages of the Paper of Record.

Yasser Abdul Said has now made the Most Wanted List. However, I am told that the police have described the murder as senseless, baffling, puzzling, etc.–as opposed to as an obvious, old-fashioned honor killing. Perhaps I’m wrong, but has anyone thought to look for him in a mosque?

  8. Murder in the Family: Honor Killings in America

    Saturday , July 26, 2008

When she was just 19, Sandeela Kanwal traveled from America to Pakistan for an arranged marriage to a cousin twice her age.

Less than six years later, she was dead — strangled — and her father, Chaudhry Rashid, was arrested by police as the suspect for what some have called an "honor killing."

After their marriage, Kanwal had lived in the United States apart from her husband, who remained in Pakistan. She was reunited with him in April at her family home in Atlanta, but he moved to Chicago days later, leaving her alone once again.

On July 1, Kanwal filed for divorce, a prospect her father, a 52-year-old immigrant from Pakistan, would not entertain. Investigators say that after an argument on the night of July 5, he strangled Kanwal with a bungee cord. He could not accept the "disgrace" a divorce or affair would bring on his family, according to police.

The United Nations estimates that as many as 5,000 women are murdered in such honor killings each year for offenses like immodesty or refusing an arranged marriage. They may be on the rise in the U.S., as seen anecdotally in Kanwal's death and a handful of other prominent attacks:

    • Fifty-year-old Yaser Abdel Said became the focus of a massive manhunt after he allegedly killed his teenage daughters Sarah and Amina — for dating boys against his will. Relatives say he tried to marry off Amina in his native Egypt when she was 16, and he hasn't been seen since the girls were shot to death on New Year's Day.

    • Zein Isa, a Palestinian terrorist who lived in St. Louis, was convicted of killing his daughter Palestina in 1989. Investigators say he was furious she had a black boyfriend, went to a school dance and got a job at Wendy's. Palestina's mother held her down as Isa plunged a 9-inch knife into his daughter's chest, actions the FBI picked up on a microphone as they investigated Isa for his terrorist ties.

    • Waheed Mohammad, a 22-year-old immigrant from Afghanistan, was shamed by his sister, who he thought was a "bad Muslim girl." At his mother's behest, investigators say, he tried to "stop" his sister, stabbing her multiple times, though she survived and spoke to FOX News.

To see more on honor killings in America, watch FOX News' special documentary, "Murder in the Family: Honor Killings in America," airing 8 p.m. EDT Saturday, July 26, and 8 and 11 p.m. EDT Sunday.

  9. What's in a name

    Life Cycle Observances in Islam

    Birth

Two rituals accompany the birth of a child. First, the Call to Prayer is whispered into the newborn's right ear as the first sound it hears. This act symbolically brings the baby into an awareness of Allah from the first moment of life. This is accompanied by reading from the Quran and other small rites.

Second, after a few days—customs in some countries specify seven days—a naming ceremony is held. At a gathering of family and friends, the child is formally given a name, and often a lock of hair is cut from its head. This is often accompanied by other rites, such as a meal, sacrifices, readings from the Quran, and so on. On rite often practiced is that of almsgiving. The baby is weighed and an equivalent amount in silver is given to charity.

The naming ceremony also serves as an entrance rite for those who convert to Islam later in life. During it, they receive an Islamic name, usually in Arabic, and seen to be newly born into the faith.

Islamic belief holds that all males should be circumcized, although at what point in a child’s life this happens is not specified. It is often performed when the boy is still a toddler. Traditionally, the circumcision was accompanied by a celebration, while today is frequently takes place in a hospital clinic.

  36. "Barack Obama is a Protestant Christian."

BarackObama is a Black Liberation Theology Marxist.

One of the pillars of Obama's home church, Trinity United Church of Christ, is "economic parity."
On the website, Trinity claims that God is not pleased with "America's economic mal-distribution."
Among all of controversial comments by Jeremiah Wright, the idea of massive wealth redistribution is the most alarming.

The code language "economic parity" and references to "mal-distribution" is nothing more than channeling the twisted economic views of Karl Marx.
Black Liberation theologians have explicitly stated a preference for Marxism as an ethical framework for the black church because Marxist thought is predicated on a system of oppressor class (whites) versus victim class (blacks).

    ---
Obama's website says he plans to significantly "raise the minimum wage and index it to inflation to make sure that full-time workers can earn a living wage that allows them to raise their families and pay for basic needs such as food, transportation, and housing."

Obama also promises that he "will establish a federal investment program to help manufacturing centers modernize and Americans learn the new skills they need to produce green products." A "federal investment program"? Has government proven to be a skilled investor of taxpayers' money? Our government is already running a $9 trillion deficit: why would we trust unaccountable officials with "investing" in anything?

Renault-Nissan has been coy about the layout and design of its upcoming electric car. An electric-powered Mégane sedan (Renault's small family car) will spearhead the company's electric car efforts in Israel. However, Renault executives have confirmed to AutoObserver that the electric-powered Mégane will definitely not be the type of electric car sold in Denmark, Portugal and other global markets by 2012.

One hint to the car's design could be the Nissan Mixim, a four-wheel drive, electric-powered concept car powered by lithium-ion batteries (the same as you'd find in your cell phone or laptop). First seen at last year's Frankfurt auto show, the petite wedge-shaped Mixim seats three and is about the size of a Mini Cooper.

Nissan will manufacture electric vehicles as well, with the models sold by both companies varying with each market. He estimated Renault and Nissan's investment in the project at 50 million euros ($72 million) to 100 million euros.

Renault's electric car for Israel will be a ``three-box'' sedan, Ghosn said at a second news conference at Israeli President Shimon Peres's residence. The car will be manufactured in Europe, he said.

  47. $100 million will not build the production capacity for 200,000 cars per year, will it?

Not if $700 million only gets 'em 150,000 units

No, it will not. One billion dollars is more like it. Like I said, 2011 they'll have the plant ready for full mass production. So if it's 50, 100, 200, 500 thousands, or 1 million units, whatever the demand, they'll meet the supply. They also intend to have several models on the offer.

    "Added Danger: Cocaethylene

When people mix cocaine and alcohol consumption, they are compounding the danger each drug poses and unknowingly forming a complex chemical experiment within their bodies.

NIDA-funded researchers have found that the human liver combines cocaine and alcohol and manufactures a third substance, cocaethylene, that intensifies cocaine's euphoric effects, while possibly increasing the risk of sudden death."

Muslims will kill other practicing Muslims by defining them as not Muslims for standing in line to sign up for a job as an Iraqi policeman, but let a Christian boy have a non-practicing Muslim father he only remembers seeing one time in 1971 and Jews will define that boy as a hard-core Muslim.
