Stop with all the trendy disorders
To all you gender obsessed academics: Stop brainwashing our kids. If you have man parts, you’re male; women parts, you’re female. End of story. Claiming otherwise does not make it so.
Stop pushing Gender Identity Disorder (GID) on children. It’s a mental problem needing treatment to stem suicide rates 10 times that of the general population, per research from the Williams Institute at UCLA University.
Young kids are being needlessly confused and pressured about gender, a topic statistically relevant to a miniscule 3/10ths of one percent of the population struggling with GIDs.
A cynic could surmise academia is complicit in the LGBTQ’s efforts to teach the easily influenced the false idea that gender is optional or a multiple choice exercise.
Gender conflicted youth are not all of sudden being discovered. They’re being created by academics promoting gender choice to impressionable kids looking for love, approval and acceptance from their teachers and peers.
When you clear the smoke around the list of 50+ choices, male and female remain the only two actual genders. The rest are lifestyles like cross dresser, sexual preferences like gay and lesbian or GIDs like transgender.
Delaware passed a regulation allowing students to self-identify their gender and race (yes race) without parental consent. Their rationale is to protect kids from parents who might not be as transgender or transracially enlightened as their smug, pompous academic betters.
Everyone responsible for drafting this insane regulation and all those who support it should be fired on the spot for subverting parental rights.
The state of Washington joins the insanity by wanting to eliminate reference to gender on birth certificates despite nature conferring it at conception.
Apparently, young impressionable minds need the guidance of the LGBTQ movement to pick a GID then get pressured into puberty blockers, hormone therapy or irreversible surgeries they may regret one day absent pressure from gender obsessed teachers, pediatricians and shrinks.
Parents stormed a Rocklin Academy school board meeting in California after a female kindergartener came home in tears because her teacher said “she could grow up to be a boy.” Parents started pulling kids out of Nova Classical Academy in Minnesota when kindergartners complained their teacher told them “you can choose if you want to be a boy or a girl.”
Pushing pick-your-gender on kids as young as five is blatant child abuse in my view. Leftist academia has been screwing with kids’ minds for decades.
It started with the feelings/self esteem movement shielding kids from the character building experiences of winning and losing, hurt feelings, rejection and the simple concept life is not fair. They rewrote history to support their narrative the country was stolen by a bunch of white genocidal racists, teach communism under the guise of social justice and promote moral relativism convincing kids there is no right or wrong.
Illegal racial quotas are couched as diversity. They promote Islam, anti-semitism and an amoral hook-up culture with abortion as their get-out-of-parenthood-free card.
Author Michael Savage wrote a book called “Liberalism is a Mental Disorder.” The current state of academia proves he’s onto something.

Been listening to some debate about GVRO - Gun Violence Restraining Order.
ReplyDeleteThe NRA is all against it, of course, as being a step down a slippery path.
Yet to me it makes some sense as a temporary emergency procedure.
I think GVRO is included in the legislation just passed by the State of Florida.
DeleteThe Legal Way To Seize Guns From Dangerous People
Delete....Only five states — Connecticut, Indiana, California, Oregon and Washington — currently have laws allowing civil gun seizure orders. But interest in GVROs, sometimes known as extreme risk protection orders, or more generically as red flag laws, has spiked since the Parkland shooting. According to the Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence, legislators in 26 states have introduced or will soon introduce red flag laws, including Maryland and New York, where the state assembly recently passed such a law. In Rhode Island, the state’s Democratic governor took the unprecedented step of enacting gun violence restraining orders by executive order.
The National Rifle Association has vehemently opposed policies like gun violence restraining orders. In bulletins to members, the gun group has urged them to contact state elected officials and vote against these laws because “they provide a mechanism for an individual to lose the right to keep and bear arms with no due process of law.”
Despite the gun group’s stance, support is also flowering in corners of the political world normally opposed to new firearms restrictions. A version of a GVRO is part of the package of gun bills just passed by both chambers of Florida’s legislature, and will become law as soon as Governor Rick Scott signs the bill......

College Student Barred From Class For Claiming There Are Only Two Genders
ReplyDelete“Later this week I will be defending myself and my FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS in front of the Academic Integrity Board (AIB) of the Indiana Univ. of Pennsylvania (IUP) against allegations of Classroom Conduct violations. The decision made by the AIB that day will determine whether I will be able to continue participating in my full course load, as well as graduate this May as scheduled. This is not transgender, woman’s rights, or wage issue. This is about free speech and the constant misuse of intellectual power in universities.”
The video Ingle and the other students were made to watch was a TED talk by Paula Stone, a transgender individual, who went on to talk about “mansplaining” “male privilege” and “systematic sexism”. The professor, Alison Downie, opened the floor to “WOMEN ONLY” after the video ended.

The Growing Attack on Boys
ReplyDeleteIn America, cheers for women abound.
Girls are often praised, in fact, just for being girls.
For boys, it’s a dramatically different story.

Plato said that before the gods divided us into male and female - like you divided a hard boiled egg in half with a hair - we all had four legs, four hips, four arms, 20 digits, two heads and all the rest to fit.
ReplyDeleteNow we wonder about trying to reunite with our lost opposite gender, our original unity, ripped away from us by the angry, or playful, gods.
Much misery, and confusion, results from our current, unnatural state of affairs.

ReplyDeleteHubris, now there's a problem. Trump's got it bad.
DeleteAnyway, for the folk that think the Trade Deficit number is all important let me give you a simple business case:
US business A designs a indoor/outdoor digital thermometer. They contract with a Chinese company to build it. The Chinese company builds 50 thousand units at 2 bucks a unit including shipping. US business A has also struck a distribution deal with a big box retailer to sell that thermometer for 6 bucks. The retailer gets 2 bucks and the distributer gets 2 bucks per unit. They sell 50k units and each make 100k. Each of the 3 parties get revenue of 100k. BUT, the TRADE DEFICIT simply shows 100k to the Chinese.
The Trade Deficit number is bullshit! It is silly to base trade policy (i.e. Trade War) on such a flawed and useless number.
Yet Trump believes in himself and his acumen. Hubris.
Are you sure you know what you are talking about ?

The US comes up with a new and effective medicine for obesity. China comes up with a new and effective medicine to combat Alzheimer's.
China restricts the US drug from coming into China. Does it make sense to restrict that Alzheimer's drug from coming into the US?
As for the steel tariffs, it's a truism that users are just as important as producers.

ReplyDeleteThe Hollow Administration
Trump officials leaving administration at record pace.
Donald Trump is breaking records! Just not in a good way.
More than one in three Trump administration staffers have left the White House in its first year, a pace that far eclipses the rate of departures in the previous five White Houses, according to a study done by Kathryn Dunn Tenpas of the Brookings Institute.
The pace of resignations, firings and other assorted departures from the Trump White House is twice what it was in George W. Bush's first year as president and triple that of Barack Obama's first year in office.
And, it's not just any sorts of departures; a large number of Trump's senior-most staff have left in the first year alone...
And the article was written a month ago so doesn't account for the numerous departures over the last couple weeks.
So far, none of this has affected the views of his base. But will it?
The first problem this causes is obvious. The group of advisors surrounding Trump is being hollowed out. Not only in numbers but in quality. Trump downplays this and indicates it's not a problem; he says there's plenty of excellent people out there and they all want to work at the White House; and besides, he is the one that makes the final decisions.
He is no doubt right about there being a lot of qualified people available. However, given the constant turmoil involved in working for Trump that list is getting shorter as people question the cost/benefit of the pressure and short-term nature of working for the man. Trump has become more and more isolated as old friends and associates leave. Now, there is even talk of family members Kushner and Ivanka packing up and heading back to new York. Without his advisors and cheering section, Trump is likely to be handicapped in his decision making and also more defensive. As we have seen with his decision making process over the last couple weeks, this should scare anyone.
As noted, so far there is no indication all this has changed the views of his base; however, we have to ask how long that can last. Working for Trump is to say the least stressful, one day you are a hero and the next you are on his shit list and being called out and humiliated publically. Even the most loyal members of his team through a slip of the lip can find their desk being moved closer to the door.
Trump's base still likes what he says and does (even though the big moves are completely opposite what he promised and effects them negatively) but you'd expect a large portion of the base doesn't like the way he says it. The same way the stress Trump creates is affecting the personnel working for him it also affects America, and we have to wonder how long it takes before it starts affecting opinions and the base simply says enough, I'm tired.
Being the soft-hearted guy I am, I often find myself starting to feel sorry for Trump. He is almost a tragic figure except of course that he doesn't really fit the definition of a tragic hero. He has few redeeming qualities that would make him seem likeable and there is no one fatal flaw he has that brings him down simply because he has so many fatal flaws.
So when I start feeling sympathetic to Trump I remind myself of what he is actually doing to the base that put him office and reality intrudes.

ReplyDeleteStormy Daniels
Other than Melania, I doubt anyone really cares about the Trump/Daniels affair.
That said, the story just keeps growing like Topsy. Now, we hear Trump's lawyer took out and equity loan on his house in order to pay off Daniels. The mores questionable statements coming out the more this info will start further fueling talk of depositions by Trump, Cohen, et al. Given Trump's mercurial nature, that's got to be a considered dangerous by his team.

EXPLAINED - WHAT IS DISEASE X?
An unknown and deadly new illness dubbed Disease X has been added to the list of potential global epidemics that could kill millions.
Each year scientists with the World Health Organisation (WHO) create a list of the most likely diseases to break out into a worldwide pandemic.
This year, among the familiar Ebola, SARS, and Zika viruses is the new name of Disease X.
And unlike the other pathogens, it is not known what causes Disease X or how doctors could try to treat it.
Researchers said that they added Disease X to the threat list to recognise the fact that the next deadly pandemic could be started by an illness that has not caused any problems before.....

I think it's idiotic and suicidal for Trump to meet with Mueller, too.
ReplyDeleteDon't think I'm in a bad mood though -
ReplyDeleteBack out of all this now too much for us,
Back in a time made simple by the loss
Of detail, burned, dissolved, and broken off
Like graveyard marble sculpture in the weather,
There is a house that is no more a house
Upon a farm that is no more a farm
And in a town that is no more a town.
The road there, if you'll let a guide direct you
Who only has at heart your getting lost,
May seem as if it should have been a quarry –
Great monolithic knees the former town
Long since gave up pretense of keeping covered.
And there's a story in a book about it:
Besides the wear of iron wagon wheels
The ledges show lines ruled southeast-northwest,
The chisel work of an enormous Glacier
That braced his feet against the Arctic Pole.
You must not mind a certain coolness from him
Still said to haunt this side of Panther Mountain.
Nor need you mind the serial ordeal
Of being watched from forty cellar holes
As if by eye pairs out of forty firkins.
As for the woods' excitement over you
That sends light rustle rushes to their leaves,
Charge that to upstart inexperience.
Where were they all not twenty years ago?
They think too much of having shaded out
A few old pecker-fretted apple trees.
Make yourself up a cheering song of how
Someone's road home from work this once was,
Who may be just ahead of you on foot
Or creaking with a buggy load of grain.
The height of the adventure is the height
Of country where two village cultures faded
Into each other. Both of them are lost.
And if you're lost enough to find yourself
By now, pull in your ladder road behind you
And put a sign up CLOSED to all but me.
Then make yourself at home. The only field
Now left's no bigger than a harness gall.
First there's the children's house of make-believe,
Some shattered dishes underneath a pine,
The playthings in the playhouse of the children.
Weep for what little things could make them glad.
Then for the house that is no more a house,
But only a belilaced cellar hole,
Now slowly closing like a dent in dough.
This was no playhouse but a house in earnest.
Your destination and your destiny's
A brook that was the water of the house,
Cold as a spring as yet so near its source,
Too lofty and original to rage.
(We know the valley streams that when aroused
Will leave their tatters hung on barb and thorn.)
I have kept hidden in the instep arch
Of an old cedar at the waterside
A broken drinking goblet like the Grail
Under a spell so the wrong ones can't find it,
So can't get saved, as Saint Mark says they mustn't.
(I stole the goblet from the children's playhouse.)
Here are your waters and your watering place.
Drink and be whole again beyond confusion.
