John Hawkins 7 Responsibilities You Have As An American
Last time a Clinton was on the ballot, I voted for Ross Perot. My vote didn’t deny Bob Dole the White House, but I confess I felt a smug sense of satisfaction in “refusing to settle.” I sure showed them, didn’t I?
I haven’t been as vocal as other “Never Trump” writers, but neither have I hidden my dislike or tempered my criticism. In a field of 17 Republican candidates, Donald Trump wouldn’t have been my 18th choice. I’m still not a fan. But they didn’t just ask me; they asked everyone. And more of everyone chose Donald Trump.
I couldn’t do it, I just couldn’t. For countless reasons I’ve covered over the last year, I dug in my heels and proudly basked in my self-satisfaction. I still defended Trump in this column and on social media when he was wrongly attacked by the left and the media, but I was steadfast in my opposition to the man.
So what changed?
Not Trump. He still gives rambling speeches with little focus and spends far too much time defending himself against insignificant slights when he should be focusing on policy (though his ethics reform proposal is excellent and will irritate all the people in Washington who need to be irritated).

Hillary hasn’t changed either. At least not in who she is – a corrupt, self-serving liar willing to do or say anything to win and/or sell out to the highest bidder. There isn’t enough Saudi Arabian money in the Clinton Foundation to get me to vote for someone who got rich off “public service” and a “commitment to helping the poor.”
No, what’s changed is me. Not through introspection and reflection, but through watching the sickening display of activism perpetrated by a covert army with press credentials.
Bias has always been a factor in journalism. It’s nearly impossible to remove. Humans have their thoughts, and keeping them out of your work is difficult. But 2016 saw the remaining veneer of credibility, thin as it was, stripped away and set on fire.
More than anything, I can’t sit idly by and allow these perpetrators of fraud to celebrate and leak tears of joy like they did when they helped elect Barack Obama in 2008. I have to know I weighed in not only in writing but in the voting booth.
I believe that Trump will win. If he does not win, it will be close enough that there will be no mandate for Clinton to govern.
It will be butt ugly. She will enter office under a cloud of suspicion and hate.
She will do what the Clintons do and fabricate an external threat that will undoubtedly involve the Russians in a desperate attempt to rally the country around her.
Sanders joins the growing list of political opposition to the stock-and-cash merger, which was unanimously passed by the boards at both companies, but still has to be approved by US federal regulators.
Presidential candidate Donald Trump was quick to criticize the deal on Saturday, saying this is the kind of power structure he’s fighting.
I had a wonderful article I was trying to put up about The Clinton Foundation and Haiti, quoting the head of the Haitian Senate, probably a corrupt man himself, describing how and how badly the Clintons had ripped the Haitians off - Roger Clinton even got a real gold mine out of the deal.
Alas my computer was giving me troubles and I can't find it again.
Needless to say The Clinton Foundation ended up with more money in its coffers after the Haitian business than before the Haitian business.
As Secretary of State, Clinton oversaw the U.S. response to Haiti’s earthquake. Her husband, former president Bill Clinton, was the United Nations Special Envoy, also director of the Clinton-Bush Fund, the Clinton Foundation, and co-chair of the Interim Haiti Reconstruction Commission. To say that the lines were blurred is kind.
Emails released following the scandal reveal a Secretary of State that from the beginning was concerned about perception and critique, while laying the groundwork for U.S. companies. In a January 19, 2010, email, a week after the earthquake, Secretary Clinton writes: “We need to monitor media and rebut inaccuracies and outright misstatements. Judith McHale caught Al Jazeera reporting that what we were doing in Haiti was like what we did in Baghdad. I will talk with her and PJ to set up such a monitoring system.”
In the same email, following deleted text, she continues, “Ron Kirk called to report that he was working on getting commitments from retailers like the Gap to start textile factories as soon as feasible.”
An email dated February 13, 2010, a month after the earthquake, highlights Secretary Clinton’s efforts at selling this positive story, demonstrating the level of detail in “getting the story right” – and specific diplomatic efforts to make sure this story got right.
Why was Haiti so important to Clinton?
Journalist Jonathan Katz details just how much the world’s pre-eminent power couple were involved in Haiti, making an evaluation difficult.
The story is indeed complicated; I published a book trying to sort out the lessons of the humanitarian response Haitian people have learned.
Secretary Clinton supervised the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), one of the leading donors in the $16 billion effort, referred to as a “gold rush” by Ambassador Kenneth Merten.
Highlighting the proximity to the power couple, many who benefited from this gold rush were Clinton contributors. Isabeau Doucet and Isabel Macdonald uncovered the role played by Warren Buffet’s Berkshire Hathaway in building trailers that had formaldehyde, the same trailers that caused people to be sick when FEMA rolled them out following Hurricane Katrina.
As foretold by the January 19 email, the Clintons’ signature project was an industrial park in Caracol. The $224 million project, which took valuable agricultural land offline, evicting 366 farmers, was to generate 60,000 jobs. As of the end of 2013, the project created 2,590. A Daily Beast article published yesterday reported 5,000 as of late 2015.
This plan didn’t work out so well. According to an October 2013 Worker Rights Consortium report, all 24 garment factories studied cheated workers out of legally-entitled minimum wages. Housing outside of the project was inadequate and way over budget, prompting criticism from the Government Accountability Office in a June 2013 report. They were so badly built they were in need of repair.
...While “Benghazi” dominates conversation about Clinton’s tenure as Secretary of State, she made a stop to Haiti on her way to North Africa during the so-called “Arab Spring.” Organization of American States (OAS) special representative Ricardo Seitenfus recently published an article detailing her role in orchestrating the reversal of Haiti’s elections held in 2010, which led to the election of Michel Martelly. Raoul Peck’s Fatal Assistance shows the pivotal scene.
Obviously Haitian people must hold their government accountable, and are, but one must pause to ask why Clinton intervened in this election. And why the so-called international community looked the other way while four years of elections did not occur. And why the U.S. government pre-empted Haiti’s independent electoral commission investigating massive fraud.
One reason? Another gold rush, this time underground. Prospectors estimate that Haiti’s gold reserves are worth over $20 billion. But, mining has its costs: environment, health, safety, and profit sharing, as a report from NYU School of Law details.
One such recipient of a multi-million dollar contract – one of only two granted in 2012 – was Tony Rodham, Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton’s brother.
Unquestionably, Secretary Clinton has more foreign policy experience than Senator Sanders. And experience matters.
Clinton’s role in Haiti raises serious doubts about the primary beneficiaries of this experience.
he Clinton exploitation of Haiti will eventually go up in flames, and when the smoke settles an emotional and fiscal disaster of enormous proportions will finally be visible to the world. It will be difficult to sift through the ashes to find truth, but the truth is there. Follow the money, follow the pandering, follow the emails, and follow the favors traded for gold.
Another email linked to Hillary Clinton’s pay-for play scandal involving State Department favors for the Clinton Foundation has surfaced, but it is not one of Clinton’s famously deleted emails. A confidential email to possible capital investors for a $26.5 fully operational open-pit gold processing facility in Haiti says it all.
“Haiti is geographically located in a ‘safe zone’, within the sphere of U.S. influence. This sphere of influence included Anthony Rodham, brother of the then-Secretary of State. Anthony (Tony) Rodham served on VCS Mining’s Advisory Committee, “providing the company with strategic insight and exposure to key high-level business and government relationships,” according to a confidential document provided by a source.
VCS incorporated in 2010 in Delaware, a standard practice for companies looking for favorable tax breaks. and it “owns and operates gold, copper, silver, rare earth, nickel and platinum properties.” This was the same year as the 7.0 Haiti earthquake.
The Washington Post began uncovering these connections in March of 2015, but did not have access to the leaked email and one document in particular that provide proof of Clinton influence peddling. A June 2014 confidential brochure for the mining company, “VCS Mining Information Memorandum,” as well as a 2015 email from the Chairman/CEO of VCS to investors go a long way toward uncovering yet another scheme that benefits Hillary Clinton’s family and the Clinton Foundation.
Hillary Clinton’s brother, Anthony (Tony) Rodham was a prominent player in the mining scheme, according to corporate VCS documents.Rodham has no background in mining, no college degree, and his only qualification to be intimately involved in a mining venture in Haiti was as the brother of Hillary Clinton and the brother-in-law of the Special Envoy to Haiti Bill Clinton. Rodham joined the advisory board of VCS Mining in October 2013 and the 2014 VCS memorandum touts his influential connections to the Clinton’s “inner circles” and “power bases” within the beltway.
....It would be scandal enough if Tony Rodham and VCS benefitted from a gold mine permit in Haiti, but the potential electrical power lines for that gold mine lead straight to one of the biggest lies to come out of Haitian “reconstruction.” Think of the Clinton Foundation as covert commodities trader, whether it involves strategic minerals, access for the garment industry, special trade deals, or the guarantee that Haiti will always be held within the “sphere of influence” of the United States.
An airstrike, believed to have been carried out by the US-led coalition, hit a Shi’ite mosque in the town of Daquq, on the outskirts of the city of Kirkuk, killing at least 15 civilians, and by some estimates 20, involved in a funeral procession. Scores of others were wounded.
The Russian Ministry of Defense says that the US-led coalition is responsible for striking mourners in the Iraqi city of Daquq on Friday, killing dozens of civilians, including women and children.
The coalition jets apparently identified the mourning procession as Islamic State terrorists, said General Igor Konashenkov, spokesperson for the Russian Defense Ministry.
“Judging by the eyewitness accounts, the mourning procession was mistaken for terrorists by the coalition aviation. Dozens of Iraqi civilians died, including women and children,” Konashenkov said.
“Russian reconnaissance pinpointed two jets conducting airstrikes on Daquq, located 30 kilometers to the south of Kirkuk, where, according to our data, there are no ISIS fighters,” he added.
After getting run out of Hamtramck, Michigan midway through his now infamous Hamtramck Address, Q has announced a move towards 'Ranked Choice Voting'.
In this scheme one simply ranks all the candidates on the ballot, 1-5 or how many candidates are running.
Q's motive is transparent.
No one really hates the guy - how could one ? actually hate a crazy creep ? - so Q is hoping to change the system, score heavily in the 3 to 5 range, and win with something like a plurality.
Federal election officials have informed Q that it is too late to change any of the rules this year, but he seems adamant, and is 'insisting'.
Lawmakers condemn Pentagon effort to recover enlistment bonuses from California veterans
The U.S. House majority leader, Kevin McCarthy of Bakersfield, calls the Pentagon's demands for repayment 'disgraceful.'
Short of troops to fight in Iraq and Afghanistan a decade ago, the California National Guard enticed thousands of soldiers with bonuses. Now the Pentagon is demanding the money back.
Sansaricq argued that the Clinton's did nothing more than bring their pay-to-play tactics to Haiti resulting in the enrichment of Clinton cronies, including Hillary's brother Anthony Rodham, whose company was awarded a lucrative gold mining contract.
Sansaricq said although Bill Clinton was put in charge of the reconstruction, he did absolutely nothing but give contracts to his cronies and built a sweatshop next to a goldmine that was given to Hillary Clinton's brother, Anthony Rodham, in violation of the Haitian constitution.
He said he could go on for hours about the Clinton Foundation's destruction of the rice production in Haiti because they were importing rice from Clinton's cronies in Arkansas. And rice is something Haiti could really use right now.
((((The Clintons also awarded the country's only cell phone company to another crony, Denis O'Brien, using taxpayer dollars. O'Brien has made 265 million dollars, and a substantial portion of that has gone back to the Clinton Foundation.))))
Of course, these claims are hard to deny given that recently released emails, obtained through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit by the Republican National Committee, and subsequently shared with ABC News, reveal very open special treatment of "Friends of Bill" ("FOB" for short) by the State Department in granting access to recovery efforts in Haiti, in which $10 billion in emergency aid was spent after the 2010 earthquake.
The emails showed very close coordination between Caitlin Klevorick, a senior State Department official, and Amitabh Desai, the director of foreign policy for the Clinton Foundation, as they exchanged emails from Foundation donors looking to participate in the Haiti recovery efforts. While many donors likely were just looking to make charitable contributions, others, as evidenced below, were simply looking to capture their "fair share" of $10 billion in emergency aid contracts doled out by the U.S. government.
Malik Obama is Voting for Trump And casts doubts on the president’s official story.
October 24, 2016 Lloyd Billingsley
Malik Obama, son of the Kenyan Barack H. Obama, appeared on Fox News after Wednesday night’s presidential debate in Las Vegas. Fox’s Sean Hannity asked Obama, a naturalized U.S. citizen, who he was voting for on November 8.
“Donald Trump,” said Obama, without the slightest hesitation, expressing admiration for Trump’s business empire. The pending vote for Donald Trump, however, was not the only enlightenment to emerge from the interview.
Hannity introduced Malik Obama as the president’s brother, which is inaccurate. Malik Obama is not the son of Ann Dunham, the president’s white American mother from the Kansas heartland. Malik Obama is the president’s half-brother, but only if the president’s official story is true. On that theme, the Kenyan Malik Obama has betrayed some doubts.
In 2015, filmmaker Joel Gilbert asked Malik Obama if he saw any resemblance between the president and Frank Marshall Davis, the African-American Stalinist Gilbert contends is the president’s real biological father.
“There’s a great resemblance,” Malik Obama said. “I think Frank Marshall Davis and Barack, they look alike. Some kind of moles I see on his face and Frank, he has those too. There’s a resemblance.” Malik Obama even said he was willing to take a DNA test.
In the interview with Sean Hannity, Malik Obama said the president showed little interest in him, and the Kenyan had a hard time even making contact. As it happens, the current President of the United States has also shunned other alleged family members.
Last Father’s Day, the Harlem-based Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture invited the president to review a cache of documents from the Kenyan Barack H. Obama dating from 1958 to 1964, the most crucial period of his life. This material had first been made available in 2013 but the president declined an invitation to review it. On Father’s Day, 2016, he declined again, with good reason. In not a single document, including more than 20 letters, did the Kenyan Barack H. Obama mention anything about his new American wife and Hawaiian-born American son. That had been the core of the president’s official story, as he proclaimed to the Democratic National Convention in 2004.
“My father was a foreign student, born and raised in a small village in Kenya,” he said. “He grew up herding goats, went to school in a tin-roof shack. His father, my grandfather, was a cook, a domestic servant to the British.”
That’s a great story, as Michael Corleone said in The Godfather, and the old-line establishment media certainly liked a story like that. On the other hand, those who pay careful attention to Dreams from My Father, the president’s Dead Sea Scrolls, might wonder if the story is true.
The author tells us that the Kenyan of the Luo tribe, “bequeathed his name” to the Hawaiian-born American. But the Kenyan, a brilliant student of “unsurpassed concentration” also emerges as a “prop in someone else’s narrative,” and “an image I could alter on a whim or ignore when convenient.” The book also refers to a “useful fiction” in connection with the Kenyan. He becomes simply the “Old Man,” and the author the sole owner of his name.
Frank Marshall Davis appears in the Dreams book only as “Frank,” a poet, happy-drunk, and professional ethnic who explains that “black people have a reason to hate.” Frank gets 2,500 words in the Dreams but disappears entirely in The Audacity of Hope. In that 2006 book, the author explains, “I am a prisoner of my own biography,” but the Kenyan Barack Obama gets little ink.
In The Other Barack: The Bold and Reckless Life of President Obama’s Father, Boston Globe reporter Sally Jacobs notes that the president’s mother tried to give him up for adoption. The Kenyan “told none of his friends that he had gotten married or was expecting a baby.” She wonders whether the Kenyan “simply lied” but does not speculate whether the president and his handlers may have lied at any point.
“The family myth contained a kind of truth,” explains New York Times reporter Janny Scott in A Singular Woman, about the president’s mother Ann Dunham. Her main source is “President Obama’s sweet and lyrical Dreams from My Father, woven from tales he was told as a child.” She also finds that the president got parts of the story wrong. His mother, for example, was not born at Fort Leavenworth. In 1961, Ann Dunham showed up in Seattle happy and proud of her baby but “saying nothing about marriage.”
In 2012, The Communist: Frank Marshall Davis: the Untold Story of Barack Obama’s Mentor, by Grove City College political science professor Paul Kengor, found “remarkable similarities” in the writings of Davis and the policies of President Obama. That same year, Joel Gilbert released Dreams from My Real Father, which revealed the remarkable physical similarities between the president and Davis, who spent his life shilling for white Stalinist dictators. The old-line establishment media ignored or mocked the book and documentary, and the community organizer president was duly reelected.
In 2015 David Axelrod, proclaimed Obama’s “narrator” and “protector” by the New York Times, released the massive Believer: My Forty Years in Politics. Axelrod, who sat closer to the president than any adviser and signed off on his every word, ignored The Communist and Dreams from My Real Father. In similar style, Believer makes no mention of Frank Marshall Davis, Ann Dunham, or the Kenyan Barack Obama, the “Old Man,” of Dreams from My Father. But “Axelfraud,” as a heckler dubbed him in a scene from the book, the believer, tips his hand on the identity of the narrator.
Axelrod left journalism because he “felt more comfortable, and proficient at, telling stories.” The president, who had no record of publication, is the believer’s “dream client,” and Dreams from My Father was “a powerful and poignant work.” The stories in The Audacity of Hope were “written with the narrative skill of a gifted novelist,” so the comfortable, proficient storyteller remembers to pay homage to himself, like Sidney Greenstreet in Casablanca.
That same year, future Donald Trump voter Malik Obama, son of the Kenyan Barack H. Obama, saw a strong resemblance between the president and Frank Marshall Davis. No DNA test took place, unfortunately, and Malik Obama told Joel Gilbert, “I don’t know how I’d deal with it, if it really came out that he really is a fraud or a con.”
Like Obama, many see the physical and political resemblance but, as prisoners of the president’s biography, they don’t know how to deal with it. Truth to tell, it’s a simple matter. Let the stitching unravel and the pants fall.
Don't become dispirited, change is on the horizon -
New Podesta Email Exposes Dem Playbook For Rigging Polls Through "Oversamples"
by Tyler Durden Oct 23, 2016 5:50 PM
Earlier this morning we wrote about the obvious sampling bias in the latest ABC / Washington Post poll that showed a 12-point national advantage for Hillary. Like many of the recent polls from Reuters, ABC and The Washington Post, this latest poll included a 9-point sampling bias toward registered democrats.
"METHODOLOGY – This ABC News poll was conducted by landline and cellular telephone Oct. 20-22, 2016, in English and Spanish, among a random national sample of 874 likely voters. Results have a margin of sampling error of 3.5 points, including the design effect. Partisan divisions are 36-27-31 percent, Democrats - Republicans - Independents."
Of course, while democrats may enjoy a slight registration advantage of a couple of points, it is nowhere near the 9 points reflected in this latest poll.
Meanwhile, we also pointed out that with huge variances in preference across demographics one can easily "rig" a poll by over indexing to one group vs. another. As a quick example, the ABC / WaPo poll found that Hillary enjoys a 79-point advantage over Trump with black voters. Therefore, even a small "oversample" of black voters of 5% could swing the overall poll by 3 full points. Moreover, the pollsters don't provide data on the demographic mix of their polls which makes it impossible to "fact check" the bias...convenient....

More telling, check a couple hundred daily newspapers. Probably, 185 will have have endorsed Clinton. Gary Johnson will probably have more endorsements than Trump. ReplyDeleteEmails released following the scandal reveal a Secretary of State that from the beginning was concerned about perception and critique, while laying the groundwork for U.S.
As the years wore on with only limited progress, questions arise. The U.S. Red Cross was called to account for their half a billion in aid in an NPR/ProPublica exposé.

Delete...While “Benghazi” dominates conversation about Clinton’s tenure as Secretary of State, she made a stop to Haiti on her way to North Africa during the so-called “Arab Spring.” Organization of American States (OAS) special representative Ricardo Seitenfus recently published an article detailing her role in orchestrating the reversal of Haiti’s elections held in 2010, which led to the election of Michel Martelly.
COUNTERPUNCH
The bitch is dirty.
DeleteHOW DIRTY YOU ASK:
DeleteLet me count the ways
he Clinton exploitation of Haiti will eventually go up in flames, and when the smoke settles an emotional and fiscal disaster of enormous proportions will finally be visible to the world.

DeleteIT GETS WORSE
Delete....It would be scandal enough if Tony Rodham and VCS benefitted from a gold mine permit in Haiti, but the potential electrical power lines for that gold mine lead straight to one of the biggest lies to come out of Haitian “reconstruction.” Think of the Clinton Foundation as covert commodities trader, whether it involves strategic minerals, access for the garment industry, special trade deals, or the guarantee that Haiti will always be held within the “sphere of influence” of the United States.

ReplyDeleteThe Russian Ministry of Defense says that the US-led coalition is responsible for striking mourners in the Iraqi city of Daquq on Friday, killing dozens of civilians, including women and children.
DeleteThe coalition jets apparently identified the mourning procession as Islamic State terrorists, said General Igor Konashenkov, spokesperson for the Russian Defense Ministry.

Q's motive is transparent.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-10-21/former-haitian-senate-president-says-clintons-are-common-thieves-who-should-be-jail
Sansaricq argued that the Clinton's did nothing more than bring their pay-to-play tactics to Haiti resulting in the enrichment of Clinton cronies, including Hillary's brother Anthony Rodham, whose company was awarded a lucrative gold mining contract.
DeleteSansaricq said although Bill Clinton was put in charge of the reconstruction, he did absolutely nothing but give contracts to his cronies and built a sweatshop next to a goldmine that was given to Hillary Clinton's brother, Anthony Rodham, in violation of the Haitian constitution.
While many donors likely were just looking to make charitable contributions, others, as evidenced below, were simply looking to capture their "fair share" of $10 billion in emergency aid contracts doled out by the U.S. government.

Vote Trump !!
Malik Obama is Voting for Trump
ReplyDeleteAnd casts doubts on the president’s official story.
DeleteThat’s a great story, as Michael Corleone said in The Godfather, and the old-line establishment media certainly liked a story like that.
Her main source is
“President Obama’s sweet and lyrical Dreams from My Father, woven from tales he was told as a child.” She also finds that the president got parts of the story wrong.
DeleteIn 2015 David Axelrod, proclaimed Obama’s “narrator” and “protector” by the New York Times, released the massive Believer: My Forty Years in Politics.

ReplyDeleteNew Podesta Email Exposes Dem Playbook For Rigging Polls Through "Oversamples"
by Tyler Durden
Oct 23, 2016 5:50 PM
