COLLECTIVE MADNESS
“Soft despotism is a term coined by Alexis de Tocqueville describing the state into which a country overrun by "a network of small complicated rules" might degrade. Soft despotism is different from despotism (also called 'hard despotism') in the sense that it is not obvious to the people."

Oh my, Quirk has been lured into reading the American Thinker. Not only that he seems to have swallowed the bait. I'm guessing it tasted like straw, the bait. A straw man.

Don't be stupid, Ash.
I posted the original article on those English 'medical ethicists' a week ago.

Swallowed the bait? Not quite sure what you are talking about. If you would like to expound I would gladly respond. Straw man? Are you actually saying you agree with these medical ethicists?
Bob, feel free to keep on being stupid.
