Guantanamo seven 'paid off' to halt legal action against Government

A group of former Guantanamo Bay detainees who claim they were tortured with the complicity of the British security services have been paid millions of pounds to drop legal action against the Government.

  1. This may be one of the most significant stories around - and not a comment.

    The UK's capitulation may change the face of modern warfare for the US as well. We may have entered the phase where courts will determine what is a just war. That should be frightening to any thinking person - and not a comment.


    Thousands killed and maimed and about $3 billion a week spent on "George's Great Adventure" - and not a comment.

    How about this: throw a Jew to the wolves; that never fails to garner at least 100 considered opinions.
