Black family values in Chicago: 115 'young ladies' in one high school, pregnant.
"Young ladies", really? I suppose there are 115 fine young black gentleman sperm donors as well. Is this the hope and change we can expect to be the national pattern? Is this what the black political leaderdship from Chicago produces?
Who is going to pay for the medical bills of these 'young ladies' and soon to be young citizens? Education? Feeding them? Clothing them and policing up after them when they get into their teens?
No shame, no blame, just a nation of zombies too intellectually feeble to open their mouths and question the morality and societal aspects of this disgrace. We cannot even use the correct words to discribe the obvious. No problem I suppose, we have a President that refers to men and woman as "guys", why not idiot reporters that refer to muderers as gentleman and 115 little brood sows as "young ladies."
The school principal, Mr. Morrow:
ReplyDelete"We're not looking at them like 'Ooh you made a mistake,'" he said. "We're looking at how we can get them to the next phase, how can we still get them thinking about graduation?"
So there's help in a teen parent program. And coming soon, right across from Robeson, developers are turning a one-time crack house into a day care for student use. "We have to provide some type of environment for them and some form of support for them," Van Vincent, CEO of VLV Development, said.
Wonder what that VLV stands for? 'Vulva' maybe?
You can't make this stuff up buddy.
ReplyDeletePublic morality , without societal restraint, always plumbs bottom and continually establishes new lows.
ReplyDeleteThe toxic heavy metal of current western culture, an elixir concocted by elite liberal multiculturalists, sixties radicals, protected by civil libertarians and legal diviners, propagandized by US media and entertainers has indoctrinated a generation and poisoned their ability to think, question and judge. After all the most venal of venal' in liberal doctrinairia is to be "judgmental."
Clearly, lack of judgement rules the day.
This is what you get when you hit the slippery slope of multi-culti humanist secularism.
ReplyDeleteright on -- you can step on my blue suede shoes but don't choo never ever be "judgmental" --
ReplyDeleteOdd coincidence that the trait so reviled is so damaging in the breach.
Jeez, Satan, give us a break!
And what a conspiracy against interest --children are destiny --for everyone, including the pols subverting them.
Look at the poor reporter, charged with getting a story the big part of which is the 'why' question:
Why is it happening at Robeson?
"It can be a lot of things that are happening in the home or not happening in the home, if you will," Morrow said. Absentee fathers are another factor, he said.
LaDonna Denson and two other Robeson students say parents not talking to teens and, in some cases, the pursuit of public assistance also factor into the pregnancies. None of them thought they'd be moms at such a young age.
So, these children are having children due to their '...pursuit of public assistance' and yet didn't expect '...they'd be moms at such a young age' --?
Now that's some ace analysis!
Mr. Vincent oughtta put her in Vulva Development's Dept of Dissembling Dept!
They didn't expect to be mothers at "such a young age"? Baloney.
ReplyDeleteYears ago, I heard an NPR report about "urban" girls having babies. One, about 14 or 15, talked about how most of her friends 'had already had their babies' but she would wait until probably the next year to 'have her baby'...and get her checks.
Just part of the culture.
Wonder what the party of stupid is doing these days? Take a lookie here. Bet you didn't know who the latest Republican hero was did you?
ReplyDeletePlease try and not wet yourself.
I recall a thread that promoted out of wedlock births. Listed the "great" men that were bastards.
ReplyDeleteBut then that was when Ms Palin was the mother.
Funny how the Family Values Standard has change.
Guess if the little bastards are white and the Grand Mama is running on the GOP ticket, well then, promiscuity leading to pregnancy is something to be celebrated.
ReplyDeleteIf its' poor little black girls, why its' an indictment of black politicians!
Talk about a sliding standard of acceptable partisan behavior.
But not the parents of those young women.
ReplyDeleteReally?
Yassir,
ReplyDeleteThe story is about 115 pregnant girls at a predominately black Chicago high school, therefore the comments heretofore are about the story. I am certain that neither Deuce, Buddy or I find rising out-of-wedlock rates acceptable regardless of race or political persuasion.
Sorry, that should be Yasir with only one "S".
ReplyDeleteWould not want to diss somebody with the wrong spelling.
My beef is with government deliberately leading children into deceptive swamps of inescapable moral hazard. Sorry if i tickled anyone's automatic rotten-motive antenna.
ReplyDeleteThe thread is about the mismanagement of Chicago by black politicians, not the moral decay that led to the promiscuity.
ReplyDeleteThis moral behavior was defended, by the management of EB, when the bastard was from Alaska. Defended the politician and the sex education program she supported while Governor, there.
That is inescapable, and only a year or so ago.
The partisanship of the morality play is striking.
We should be celebrating those 115 births and the greatness that those babies can aspire to. According to the EB Standard of 2008, rather than 2009.
Elections DO make a difference, don't they?
Well,
ReplyDeleteI'm convinced your motives are rotten!
'Rat can't wait to get his issue of Playgirl with the nude pics of Todd.

ReplyDeleteGuess it depends upon the perspective of the viewer, aye, amigos.
H'wood --i don't think that's a jewish rot --Jews were much more firmly in control of H'wood back when H'wood was making great fun morally decent movies that celebrated virtues. I think the KGB infiltrated, and did it thru Jews as much as possible the same way they always attempt to split cultures into identity groups. They're still doing it too --look at Madoff --
ReplyDeleteOf course public morality or lack thereof is of political consequence, if the politics creates a government that subsidizes the consequences of the behavior.
ReplyDeleteThe only possible comparison to Sarah Palin would be if her daughter's school had similar statistics.
3% of the US population are young black males, mostly from homes without fathers living in the homes. That same population commits 55% of all violent crime in America. The statistics are remarkably similar in Britain.
That is not the case in Alaska last time I checked.
The subject is moral decay, and sex outside of marriage, two subjects that scream of the ancient myths of King David and his murder by proxy of his loyal subjecct, to further his own sexual advantage.
ReplyDeletedeuce blames black politicians, it is a much deeper than that.
ReplyDeleteThis cultural coarsening.
2164 is right --to loop together forgiving the unwed family with acceptance of USA postwar urban political effects is crazy --that would be to say that either you be a perfect saint or i shall regard you a serial killer, no in between.
ReplyDeleteAlaska does much differ, per capita, in births out of wedlock, if I recall correctly.
ReplyDeleteYou're grasping for straws and losing your own bearings while doing so.
Either those new lives should be celebrated, or not.
The rest is partisanship

Is this what the black political leaderdship from Chicago produces?
ReplyDeleteIt is what the US has become, now.
From Chicago to Anchorage.
The color of the politicians is irrelevant to the moral decay.
One can welcome the 115 babies, and hope for the best for them, and still decry their mothers' being just kids themselves and pretty much foreclosed on by the wrong-timed family.
ReplyDeleteMrs Palin was excused for the behavior of her daughter, but deuce wants to hold black politicians responsible for these kids behavior.
ReplyDeleteIt is a different standard for different politicians, for some reason. Racial or partisan, I prefer to think it is partisan, myself.
sex is older than King David...
ReplyDeletemany of the ancient myths revolve around this theme...
the ancient pagan religions used the power of sex to drive men...
nothing new here...
Now why does ONE group of people in America produce a 70% out of wedlock birth rate whereas the rest of the nation has one MUCH MUCH lower?

ReplyDeleteThe daughter's behavior was not to held as a reflection upon the mother.
Her policies with regards Sex Education as Governor not to be question in regards to success or failure.
Seems whatever Sex Ed used in Chi-town is a failure, too. If limiting out of wedlock births sets the standard for success

ReplyDeleteit the girls of the south side want to produce offspring in numbers that dwarf the typical "family unit" i say fine...
ReplyDeletejust dont ask others to PAY for it...
"but y'all are on the same side of the fence."
ReplyDeleteThat explains the warm glow, the perpetual halo of joviality amidst the acrid smoke over the EB.
But defended Mrs Palin and her daughter for the same type behavior that you find despicable in Chicago.
ReplyDeleteWent so far as to list the "Great Bastards" of history in Ms Palin's defense.
You take the other side of the position, now that it is politically convenient to do so.
2164, my old pappy always said keep yore friends close and yore enemas in the dark.
ReplyDelete"A Congenial Place for Calm Discussion "
ReplyDeleteFrom the purely genetic point of view, these gals, and their kids, might be counted as successful.
ReplyDeleteI think it is funny --sad, rather--that rat picks up on the story of King David--a story that was handed down in the Jewish tradition of criticizing one of their own to make a moral point--if you read deeply nearly all their heros are deeply flawed--a story that points out the hero's failings in such a stark way--that this story should be associated with a judgement of the Jewish race, when really it should be taken another way, as a beginning of self consciousness in a people, a beginning of looking inward.
Far as Sarah Palin and her family go, they have accepted the newborn into the family and have taken adult responsibility therefore, financially, morally, last I heard, and the young girl that 'made a mistake' like Mary Mother of Jesus is raising the child, with a missing white father.
I know of two girls my daughter's age--well, they are grown up now--got knocked up and the white boy missing. In these cases though, they are not on the public doll, but working quite hard to make ends meet, with some help from their families.
Sex is a great thing, but you got to be smart and careful.
Course the criticism here is that the government is encouraging the youth to not be 'smart and careful.'
ReplyDeleteBobal: From the purely genetic point of view, these gals, and their kids, might be counted as successful.
ReplyDeleteNot in John Galt World. Maybe in Liberal Fantasyland where no one is allowed to fail, except Republican candidates, and even Presidents get formerly prestigious awards just for "trying". There are animals that have hundreds of offspring, they are "successful" in a purely Darwinian sense, but then it's dinner time, and predators come along looking for success too. These kids can look forward to a lifetime of saying, "You want fries with that?"

I think we ought to criticize govenment policy, but our hearts should go out to all these young ones.
After all, they didn't ask to be brought into this mess.
Or did they?
Some reincarnation theory would affirm they did ask for just that, for the further development and enlightenment of themselves.
Just call me, Ms T, and I'll come over and pick it up, for and from you.
ReplyDeleteSome reincarnation theory would affirm they did ask for just that, for the further development and enlightenment of themselves.
ReplyDeleteI'm really at odds ends about a question like this. In some ways it seems so obvious, and yet, it just can't be that way.
So, I need to be enlightened, myself.
Bobal: Some reincarnation theory would affirm they did ask for just that, for the further development and enlightenment of themselves.
ReplyDeleteThe flaw in reincarnation theory is that if you don't remember your past life, you can't very well use the wisdom that comes from making a lifetime of mistakes to help you in THIS life.
That is the point of the King David reference, bob.
ReplyDeletePart of our common myth from our Zoro Master past. It illustrates just how powerful the sex drive is.
That even Kings are brought down by lust.
That, what with the coarsened culture, there is no escape from promiscuity, there is only better living through chemistry.
Or, perhaps the King David myth illustrates that our culture has not coarsened, but has remained pretty much in a constant state, from then until now.
The King David myth is also used to illustrate that power corrupts and that absolute power corrupts, absolutely.
ReplyDeleteNo, whit, it was about black politicians being responsible for that moral decline.
ReplyDeleteNot the decline itself.
I can go quote deuce, again, if you need to read it for a third time.
That'd be the charm, wouldn't it?
All Western culture is dependent upon our Zoro Mater myth, whit.
ReplyDeleteI've been told that, here, repeatedly.
So we will use those myths to illustrate that our culture has not coarsened.
But has remained constant, for 3,000 years.
The story of King David (as does the entire "myth") illustrates that anyone can fall to temptation and that there is a price to be paid for sinning.
ReplyDeleteIt bears repeating: No one can keep all the laws. We're all guilty.
That even the genetically superior King David fell to the power of lust.
ReplyDeleteWhen there were no black politicians to blame.
Rat is getting nailed again today, and it is still early in the morning.
ReplyDeleteWe shouldn't be having kids having kids.
From my older point of view, this is an imposition on grandpa.
Thankfully I have escaped that in my personal life.
The biological drive though is exceeding strong, as many of us, me especially, have admitted o so publicly here in the last few days.
So I don't know what we do.
Birth control, of course.
I think an answer to this problem is we must have compassion, yet criticize government policy.
But I sure don't think of it as 'a Jewish Problem', bsanging it over to Kind David, for garsh sakes, who does seem to have existed, but maybe as much in literature as in real life, if you can actually "exist" in literature, a questionable construct for the fellow trying to do the "existing."
And whit, there is no need to capitalize that "Y" in yassir.
ReplyDeleteHow many female students were in that "black" high school? If there were 1150 (not an outrageous number for a Big City School) then 115 is only 10%.
ReplyDeleteGood Lord, where did you people "grow up," Mayberry?
AP called BHO "Kenyan Born" in 2004.
ReplyDeleteI guess that was before they found that "natural born citizen" clause in the COTUS.
Also the arc of life --a young hero slew Goliath, a sick old man with blood and worse on his hands dies covered with boils. The lesson might be, sorry guys, ya live and ya die --but, well, think about David, and feel your way toward something.
ReplyDeleteYep, using David in a 180 degree reverse fashion, that's what folks do to Nietzsche --who spent life warning against the coming superman, and warning also that Marxists would reverse his warnings into endorsements.
But then leading with "Black family values ..." makes it less partisan and more racial, upon further reflection.
ReplyDeleteWhen those values can be seen to be universal, evidenced from our Zoro Master myths.

Where or where in the Bible does it talk about '

It talks about those that have a closer relationship 'to that which is'--but please enlightment me, where does it talk about genetics, except in a most passing way, with, for instance, Esau?

ReplyDeleteIf you want something to go away, like cigarette smoking or fossil fuels, you tax it. If you want more of something, like the arts or wind power, you subsidize it. ReplyDeleteIt doesn't, in fact, it has a faulty understanding of genetic, as illustrated in Genesis 30. Jacob and Laban had an agreement to divide their herd of animals, with Jacob getting the ones with spots and speckles, so this is what Jacob did:
[37] And Jacob took him rods of green poplar, and of the hazel and chesnut tree; and pilled white strakes in them, and made the white appear which was in the rods.
[38] And he set the rods which he had pilled before the flocks in the gutters in the watering troughs when the flocks came to drink, that they should conceive when they came to drink.
[39] And the flocks conceived before the rods, and brought forth cattle ringstraked, speckled, and spotted.

ReplyDeleteThis is where I agree with WiO, and my wife.
She isn't going to go to a church where we have to mumble, "Lord I have sinned before thee"
because she feels like she hasn't, she has just been a girl that met me, does what girls do, did her best by it, loves her husband and kids.
So, she doesn't go to church much.
But, she always has her nose in some book or other.
I'm looking at my Stone edition of the Tanach which includes the Torah, Prophets and Writings. All 24 books. There it is on page 7, Genesis chapter 3.
ReplyDelete1. Now the serpent was cunning beyond any beast of the field that any beast of the field that Hashem God had made. He said to the woman, "Did, perhaps, God say: "You shall eat of any tree in the garden?"
Gee, that's talking about the original sin just like the story in my "rewritten" new testament.
What Rat doesnt understand about the jewish people, well is just about everything...
ReplyDeleteIt is Jewish lore (myth) that all the peoples of the earth were offered the covenant with G-d 1st.... and all declined the offer...
ONLY after every single other peoples were considered did G-d then offer the covenant with Abram
whit: 1. Now the serpent was cunning beyond any beast of the field that any beast of the field that Hashem God had made. He said to the woman, "Did, perhaps, God say: "You shall eat of any tree in the garden?"
ReplyDeleteWhere does that say you are all GUILY with original sin?
WiO: It is Jewish lore (myth) that all the peoples of the earth were offered the covenant with G-d 1st.... and all declined the offer..
ReplyDeleteIt was the Noahide Covenant, offered when all of humanity consisted of eight persons. Modern Rabbis consider that even Gentiles are bound under it, so it must have been accepted.
I don't think we are "guilty" at all, it's just a social situation.
ReplyDeleteThose girls in Chicago find themselves in a social situation that is entirely different from here in Idaho, or out in Hawaii.
We need compassion and intelligence.
There is a really great painting by one of the Old Masters in north Europe.
It has Christ--that is to say, Spirit--walking unrecognized through the crowd of uncomprehending folk in the town square.
I'll try to find it.
The Jewish Story of the Garden of Eden is greatly viewed differently between peoples...
ReplyDeleteThe Jews? do not have original sin... we do not view the garden story as literal..
It's really a story about Human Animals evolving into Human Beings...
It's about awareness and growing up as "actualized" peoples
the expulsion from the garden is really about leaving animal world and becoming the BEING world
Our ancestors thought it would be a peachy-keen idea to enslave others. In this way they could get the cotton picked cheaper, and get rich.
ReplyDeleteThen, our great-great- Grandfathers decided that that was an abhorrent idea, and "freed" the slaves.
Then, our fathers came along, and decided we needed to "make it right."
Now, here we are, "Mad" because they aren't enough "like us."
We're Morons.
WiO: Where does that say you are all GUILY with original sin?
ReplyDeleteOriginal "Sin" is like a man who owns a business intending to pass it on to his sons and their sons, but he makes a bad decision, and goes bankrupt. His sons aren't "guilty" of anything, they simply have no inheritance. In the case of Adam, his inheritance was a close relationship with the Creator. In Christian theology (which I realize makes as much sense to a Jew as Mormon theology makes to a Catholic), Jesus Christ is the "second Adam" who makes satisfaction for the breach and clears the way for a restoration of that close relationship.
I guess it's too painful to admit that our ancestors were slave-owning, assholes, and that we're morons,
ReplyDeleteso we babble on about ancient Jewish/Christian authors.

Prohibition of Blasphemy: You shall not blaspheme God's name.
Dietary Law: Do not eat flesh taken from an animal while it is still alive. (Genesis 9:4)
Requirement to have just Laws: Set up a governing body of law (eg Courts)
hardly difficult for most people
Our ancestors thought it would be a peachy-keen idea to enslave others. In this way they could get the cotton picked cheaper, and get rich.
ReplyDeleteBut this was an idea that was being resisited in the best part of Israel, which isn't a part identified on the map.
There was even slavery in Israel, but they had Sabboth, and tried to get rid of it.
This is why blacks in America can say with truth
Go Down Moses
Go Down To Egypt Land
Set My People Free'
It's why even in my past, which most of you people would think of as a past of freedom, I can read about the slavery in the past of my ancestors.
Thiss slavery shit is talked about at length in Hegel.
We GOT to get rid of it.
It's craparoo.

Like in Jefferson, we can make a free society, with a constitution, but I feel we are losing it now.
And this goes way beyond the fact Jefferson had some "slaves".
What I hate about this administration is that they seem to dis so much of the basic founding ideas of our country, which were ideas of freedom, for a spirit to live by, here in this world.

ReplyDeleteHardly difficult?
How about impossible? And what happened to Genesis 20 (Ten Commandments)? Where did they get superceded?
The 10 commandments are ONLY laws that Jews have to keep, it's the Mosaic Covenant.. Between the Jews and G-d, the 7 laws of Noah are the basis and are not made irrelevant but rather added on to..
as for the 7 laws of noah being impossible? it is a good goal, so good our Supreme Court lists them on the outside it's building...
This "superceded" concept is alien to Jewish thought... Nothing is superceded... Covenants are covenants. They are not temporary, they are not limited in time...
The Noahite Covenant is for all humanity.. Period.
The ten commandments are widely misinterpreted as for all mankind by that is quite false... It's specifically for and to ONLY the Jewish people. So dont concern yourself with how hard the 613 laws of the Torah (commonly called the 10 commandments) as they are not for the non-jew. The ONLY requirement that Jews have to the outside world (and at a minimum to ourselves) is the 7 laws of Noah...
Of the 7 laws of Noah what do you find "impossible" to live by?

ReplyDeleteWiO, gay men would find it impossible to keep the prohibition of male-male contact. It is certain that the gender that makes your tail wag faster is determined very early in life as the brain wires itself up, much like the preference for the right or left hand, and like the evolution of Western societal attitudes toward handedness (where the Muslim world lags), in a few decades homosexuality will be a total non-issue.
Over the course of ones lifetime, any number of the seven are broken. Breaking the law makes one guilty.
ReplyDeleteSo what is the penalty for the guilt?

ReplyDeleteI agree with this.
This is just what was said by that Master Scientist in England explaining how the genetic engineering went.
Bunch of stuff real real early in life. Lots of stuff going on.
All that we homos can do for Ladys like Miss T that we have mistreated in the past is say, Shit, I'm Sorry, I Just Didn't Know.
I suppose the penalty for guilit is guilt.
ReplyDeleteSo what is the penalty for the guilt?
ReplyDeletedepends...
but sins against your fellow man can be "done right" by restitution"
Sins against g-d? Well back then? a few lamb's taken to the bbq at the Temple and at correction of behavior did it fine...
After the Temple was destroyed, Jews fashioned the idea that Sins against G-d could be corrected thru Prayer & good actions, sins against your fellow man are not absolvable by G-d and have to be paid thru criminal penalty via the courts
As for the sin of Male to Male intercourse?
ReplyDeleteI think the punishment would be to have burned in your brain the images of gay male sex...
Clearly the commandments regarding sex are problematic for most people.

ok...
So would you rather have no standard?
OR is a law really the ideal that we wish to attain?
Thou shall not hump thy Goat. No matter how sexy she or he is.. Not to worry, this law has the exemption that you may hump the goat if you drink to much...

ReplyDeleteLet's face it, God didn't have a clue when He/She Created SEX!
ReplyDeleteProhibition of Sexual Promiscuity: You shall not commit any of a series of sexual prohibitions, which include adultery, incest, bestiality and male homosexual intercourse.
ReplyDeleteWhy is this not a reasonable goal? (i wont get into the male to male love stuff, but it's still not mainstream and I aint the judge of it..)
Actually the creator had a clue...
ReplyDeletethat's why its so good...
I have a lesbian question...
In typical male/female relationships the woman hold the power of the vagina... dispensing at HER leisure, not his...
what happens in a lesbian relationship...
does the dominate dyke) get frosted out of the pleasure palace as much as her male counterparts?
Bobal: All that we homos can do for Ladys like Miss T that we have mistreated in the past is say, Shit, I'm Sorry, I Just Didn't Know.
ReplyDeleteThere's a few issues remaining, but a big one is that gay people tend to gravitate to the Left due to the way they are treated by the Right, and that's a shame, because they're doing it against their own economic self-interest. In the ideal world, politics and sexual orientation would be decoupled.
SEX!
ReplyDeleteAnd my definition of this is the swooning of RATIONALISM TO PURE PASSION.
GOD MUST HAVE LOST HIS MIND!@
My comment is strictly academic, and perhaps personal. I have little appetite for eating a live chicken.
ReplyDeleteNo problem with passing on the goat humping, however there have been a few temptations and distractions along the way with some of the very fine woman that have crossed my path.
Fortunately and thankfully I succumbed to most of them.
Well, let's get back to the Real, Grown-up world.
ReplyDeleteHere is a pretty smart article replete with investment ideas.
Worth your read.

How can I answer something like that? I've been in one relationship for twenty-two years (we picked a date twenty years ago as our official "anniversary"). Before that I had maybe five of them, some were deep, others only for release, but I never encountered the phenomenon of using sex as a weapon like you describe.
Dykes do have a joke that runs like this: "How can you tell when a Femme is having an orgasm? She drops her nail file."
You are very thoughtfull, Miss T, and the condo invitation is still open. You might still consider scooting over from Seattle in Fedruary, the invitation is still in effect.
ReplyDeleteI am just what I say I am, a retired farmer, with a great wife, that has worked, likes music, just bought a condo, a minor developer.
Keep that condo in mind....

Great!

Well let me say from a personal basis the number of FINE women I could have succumbed too was far greater than the number of FINE women that would actually allow me to do some of that succuming...
However from an "adultery" pov, since i have been married for 21 years I really dont succumb to women (aside from the wife) however I do have a written note of permission for if and when Jennifer Anniston knocks on my warehouse door and begs me to succumb her...
A note to Lesbians...
No where does it say in the Hebrew bible that 2 beautiful Nordic blond women cannot share a few ripe peaches...
A note about adultery... In the olden days, if a young man bedded a young woman? it wasnt adultery, it was marriage....
Rat,
ReplyDeleteI don't think it is a question of either/or, rather, it is racial AND partisan.
If you accept the argument advanced by Deuce and apply it as a foreigner looking at America what will that tell you about Americans? America exceptional? Sounds about right!
Okay, thanks Bobal. It's a shame you weren't posting to the EB just a couple weeks ago, I would have steered to the Palouse on the way to Flathead Lake.
ReplyDeleteWiO: No where does it say in the Hebrew bible that 2 beautiful Nordic blond women cannot share a few ripe peaches...
ReplyDeleteThere is one place in the New Testament where Paul mentions that lesbianism is unnatural, but I'm thinking he was probably a misogynist...the sort of man who, although not exactly gay, just doesn't like women. They end up in the Roman Catholic priesthood very often. Because there's been many times when men have told me that I can go ahead and do anything I want with another woman, as long as I shoot video of the festivities and send them a copy.
Amusing Ash. I remember a party in London during the sixties where I got a lecture on racialism in America from some English fop, explaining why such a thing could never happen in Britain.
ReplyDeletePart of my retort was that Britain, at that time had hardly anyone to get racial with. The liberals fixed that for them. Last I heard it went more to my predictions than it did toward their wishful thinking.
Britain today is an open sewer. I'll place my statistics up against your feelings.

I'll do that, Elijah, Thanks.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was a very young man I lived alone for many months in the spring of a year downstairs with my Aunt, who was the librarin at the University, and kept a a wonderful library for us to read.
ReplyDeleteOne day, early in the morning, she came down the stairs, and saw me reading, and said, "Bob, what are you reading? Are you getting anything from it?"
And I said "Romeo and Juliet, Aunt Agnes"
She said "That is a deep book."
I have wondered since why it is so deep, why it is so meaningful.
I think now, at the end of my life, I may have something of an answer.
It is the urge of life, springing up, that is what is going on there.
That is the meaning of that wonderful book, "Romeo and Juliet".
yeah duece, statistics and the joys of generalizations based upon them.
ReplyDeleterat perfectly understands that pumping out babies to gain welfare checks will lead to chaos and the destruction of our country. that is why he is making moral equivalency statemants regarding the palin's and trying to shame the authors here by suggesting racist motives. Talk about a man of Misdirection! rat knows he will survive through the chaos and possibley reign as the supreme survivalist, king rat. he really is just like the acient cell.
ReplyDeleteAsh, 3% committing 55% of a class of crime is not a statistical slight of hand. All major studies attribute a contributing factor to be missing fathers. Statistics are similar in Britain.
ReplyDeleteI'll stand with my facts, you continue with your view on what ought to be, regardless of hard facts presented to you, lest they occlude your lovely rose tinted Panglossian vision, and your situationally convenient parallax view of all things American.
heh, heh,
ReplyDelete...and in those recently stated facts not a mention of 'black' or 'democrats'. Interesting...
Bobal: It is the urge of life, springing up, that is what is going on there. That is the meaning of that wonderful book, "Romeo and Juliet".
ReplyDeleteYeah, sure Bob. Romeo slays Tybalt and Paris, then drinks poison. Juliet finds his body and stabs herself to death with a dagger.

ReplyDelete"I'm not saying Exxon is a bad company. Many oil companies are running up against the limits of growth. This is something that is affecting the entire Western oil industry, and will probably eventually spark a resource war in the Arctic, as the U.S., Canada, Russia and other countries fight over oil and gas resources literally at the end of the Earth."
