CARACAS, Venezuela - Sean Penn applauded President Hugo Chavez as the Venezuelan leader lambasted the Bush administration and demanded an end to war in Iraq.
Chavez met privately with the 46-year-old actor for two hours Thursday, praising him as being "brave" for urging Americans to impeach President Bush.
allen showed similar courage, publicly calling for Mr Bush's impeachment, except he then rode off, silently into oblivion, never to write at the Elephant Bar, again.
ReplyDeleteMr Penn, he stills goes out in public.
As does the duece.
The refreshing thing, here at the Bar, is that evertyhing is not laid at Dan Rathers' doorstep.
The failure of the Iraqi to develop a bottom up democracy, blamed upon the MSM, and the Democrats, this morning at the BC.
Such revisionism, had to remind those felows of the truth. That in June of 2003 the US military shut down bottom up efforts at democracy, in Iraq.
The day the Liberation of Iraq ended, and the Occupation began, 28 June, 2003. The date that the US lost the inititive in Iraq, starting down the wrong trail, to the Insurgency and quagmire.
Forgotten by the revisionists.
Allen made a comment about a bad medical exam or something to that effect. I hope he just doesn't like us and it is nothing more serious.
