Islamic Trinity of Death. The Undeniable Link Between Islam and Terrorism.

The apologists for Islam rightly state that all Muslims are not terrorists, but neither can they deny the indisputable link between the institution of the mosque, the cleric and the radicalized convert or native born Islamic radical. Time after time, carnage after carnage, atrocity on top of atrocity, it is Muslims who are the instigators, perpetrators and just as likely the victims. Islam has not been hi-jacked by anyone, least not some radical faction. It has a corruption so deep in its DNA that no cosmetic surgery can change it. The avoidance of this painful and disturbing truth in the West has become comical in a macabre sense. Islamic gangs terrorize French cities and he BBC and French news reports describe them as "youths". They could be no less accurate if they called them biped mammals. Euphemisms are not going to make the obvious link between the mosque, the imam and the faithful go away. In time, every European country with a significant Islamic population will have to remove the veil of euphemism and face the consequences of this unholy trinity.

The conversation is beginning in Holland:

Did imam's sermon incite Van Gogh murder?
by Barry Thorne and Claire Cavanagh
31-10-2006
Mohammed Bouyeri, the man who murdered Dutch filmmaker Theo van Gogh almost exactly two years ago is serving a life prison sentence, but now questions are being asked about whether the sermon of a Muslim cleric played a role in the crime.

During the ongoing trial of another Dutch terrorism suspect, Samir Azzouz, it's emerged that Imam Fawaz of the as-Sunnah mosque in The Hague gave a sermon condemning Theo van Gogh just a few weeks before his murder. A recording of the sermon exists and in it the imam is heard uttering a curse against the Dutch director for his film Submission, which is critical of Islam. The film had been shown on television shortly before the sermon.
Criminal bastard
In the recording of the sermon, Imam Fawaz calls Theo van Gogh a 'criminal bastard' and beseeches Allah to visit an incurable disease upon the filmmaker. He also condemns former Dutch MP Ayaan Hirsi Ali who was involved in writing the script for Submission. The imam asks Allah to make Ms Hirsi Ali go blind and give her cancer of the tongue and brain.
Despite the claims in the recording, Ruud Peters, a professor of Islamic Law doesn't believe the imam's words are incitement to commit murder:
"I have a couple of arguments for that - the most important is that he [Imam Fawaz] says, 'the people who have insulted the Prophet Muhammad should die through the hands of God' - he was very specific in that… he says, 'leave it to God'."

  1. You can lead a country to democracy but you can't make it practice it.

Most of the debate we hear and read regarding Islam, terrorism,Iraq, and the ME in general is now for entertainment.
"Iacta alea est", the die is cast.
We have no reason to believe that they will relent in their efforts to subjugate unbelievers, so now we will fight them here, on our soil.
It will change this country forever, but it is the price you pay for having a "no victory" unconditional surrender dominateing victory punctuated by mass killing of the enemy. So be it.

  2. Futility noun: uselessness as a consequence of having no practical result.

The politics of our country have become so toxic, as agreed to by most serious political writers, that it has made the use of our military futile.
Our political class, mostly the Democrats, will find a way to undermine any US military campaign.
They have been practicing this, in it's latest manifestation, since LBJ decided not to run and the hard core socialists in the Democratic Party took over the leadership. Then they introduced Orwellian doublespeak and a new twist, PC.
The Republicans at the time were still of the country club variety, and in the minority and didn't catch onto the new rules for about a decade.
But make no mistake. At this time in our history there is no "loyal opposition" from the Democrats, it's warfare against capitalism using socialist rhetoric and class warfare.
It makes any projection of power via the military an exersize in futility. The toxic composition of the Democrats perforce the animadversion of their anti-American rhetoric and action and until purged will continue to constitute a clear and present danger to this country.

The secret police are back, in the form of death squads. And the government of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki looks perfectly happy with the situation.

American advisers risk their lives in the struggle to build Iraqi police units committed to doing their duty. We've equipped them, trained them and led from the front.

In gratitude, Iraq's police have ambushed our troops, fielded death squads less restrained than those under Saddam, stolen everything they could steal in preparation for a future civil war - and, apparently, funneled U.S.-provided arms to militias, insurgents and terrorists.

What makes me so uneasy is that I'd like for our government to acknowledge that, overtly.
I realize the W probably doesn't believe it himself but he's got a good deal on his plate, so he's trying to "manage" until we are in a more advantageous position.
The problem with that is the same one Patrick Henry outlined.

"They tell us, sir, that we are weak -- unable to cope with so formidable an adversary. But when shall we be stronger? Will it be the next week, or the next year? Will it be when we are totally disarmed, and when a British guard shall be stationed in every house? Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance, by lying supinely on our backs, and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot?"
I say whip 'em , whip 'em now..lets get it done nuclear and all and then we can rebuild...cause they ain't go'in away.

Attacks upon US prior to 9-11-01 did not qualify for a War response, but after 9-11-01 the Congress gave Mr Bush all the War Powers it could to respond to those that attacked US.

  10. What is terrorism, asks pseudo-Ash?

Let’s begin with something simple, say, the notion of shahid, of the sort known to the West as the suicide-bomber – an instrument of terrorism.

This Muslim is one who joyfully kills himself while simultaneously killing and maiming as many non-combatants as possible to break the morale of an adversary for the purpose of advancing the quest for a universally Islamic world. One might say the shahid has taken the inner struggle of jihad to the next level.

To the shahid must be added the like minded persons that encourage and support the actions of the shahid. Polls done throughout the world show the international Muslim community overwhelmingly supporting the jihad personified by the shahid.

Finally, the modus vivendi of Islam throughout its bloody history is the conversion of the world to Islam, while enslaving and killing the recalcitrant. The jihadi has been singled out by Islam for the highest praise.

  16. BAGHDAD, Iraq – Al-Qaida-linked gunmen staged military-like parades today in a string of towns west of Baghdad, underlining the growing confidence of Sunni insurgents in a part of Iraq where U.S. and Iraqi forces maintain a heavy counterinsurgency presence.

Like the audacious show of force by up to 60 insurgents in the city of Ramadi on Wednesday, the latest parades — including two less than a mile from U.S. military bases — were staged in support of an announcement this week by a militant Sunni Arab group that it had created an Islamic state in six of Iraq's 18 provinces, including the capital, Baghdad.

  18. Ash, do me a big favor. Listen to the Radio Netherlands interview, then contemplate this:

You have three choices in life when it comes to conflict, you can be on the offense, defense, or try and be neutral. Islam went on the offense. The West had welcomed them into our societies. that was a mistake.

Neutrality does not work with them. Since they are on the offense and their Islamic ardor seems to be waxing, a prudent person should plan a counter-offense.

    Would you not agree?

The town, 140 miles northwest of Baghdad, has not had a police force for much of the past three years, and the U.S. military at a nearby base did not intervene.

The masked gunmen, who shouted "God is great," wore white overalls — a color that indicates their readiness to die. They carried assault rifles, rocket propelled grenades and heavy machine guns.

The gunmen also distributed candy and new clothes to gathered children,

In fact Islam encompasses a widely varying group of people numbering about 1.2 billion. They do not all think alike, they do not all act alike. Similarily, we in the west are a hugely varying bunch of folks acting in a widely different ways. Note France's foereign policy is different then the US's and the number of folks who actually believe we have two 'civilizations' in open war are a very small number.

I have no intention of wasting additional time reinventing a wheel, reposting information that you would not accept in any case. Check out the links for yourself. Stalling does not become you.

While I do not support suicide bombing targetting civilians as a good tactic either morally or pragmatically it is understandable that many would.

You do think that it is necessary at times to engage in total war do you not? Do you believe that dropping the atomic bombs on Japan was a necessary tactic? The fire bombing of Dresdan? Basically the Palestinians have their backs to the wall, they are penned in by a superior military power and they have little to fight back with. In their view their existential existence is at stake, they have no other means to fight back against the Israelis. The targetting of civilians in this case is similar to the targetting of civilians by the west in other conflicts. We, as humans, use all kinds of excuses in an attempt to get our way. It is immoral, as is torture.

There is no substitute for victory and we are not,in any way going to be victorious. We have lost all will to kill unmercifully until unconditional surrender and obeisance is what we see from the enemy.
Although we have the means to obtain those conditions which throughout history have defined VICTORY, we lack the will to use those means.
