COLLECTIVE MADNESS

“Soft despotism is a term coined by Alexis de Tocqueville describing the state into which a country overrun by "a network of small complicated rules" might degrade. Soft despotism is different from despotism (also called 'hard despotism') in the sense that it is not obvious to the people."

Donald Trump kicks crying baby out of rally: ‘You can get the baby out of here’

NEW YORK DAILY NEWS

What a baby.
Donald Trump booted a fussy baby from a rally Tuesday because the tot was wailing over the businessman’s speech.
“You can get the baby out of here,” the GOP presidential nominee barked from the stage in Ashburn, Va.

The baby banishment came just seconds after Trump bragged about his love of children and promised that the crying kid could stay.
NOW, WHAT REALLY HAPPENED:

  1. :) That's exactly, word for word, the way Politico reported it.

Sure, he smirked in some sort of anal-retentive, passive-aggressive way, but he did kick the baby out of the room.

  3. It seems Mr. Kahn, the Dims new wonder boy, has erased his website, or it has been deleted. Mr Kahn is an attorney who specializes in Muslim immigration. He mostly uses the EB5 program that helps wealthy Middle Easterns fast track their way to America. I wonder what he is hiding? Could it be that he has close ties to the Clintons and the Clinton Foundation? Perhaps he also has ties to the Saudis? I think I remember reading something about his law firm being employed by them. I think I remember the Saudis gave the Clinton Foundation close to 25 million dollars? Hmmm.

  4. My #NeverTrump colleagues and friends make valid points about Donald Trump. I know -- I made them myself during the Republican primaries.

But it is vital to understand what will happen if Hillary Clinton wins the presidency. This country will be so far from what the Founding Fathers wanted, so different from what the #NeverTrumpers have always fought for, that it is almost impossible to see how America could recover from her -- or any Democrat's -- victory.

    3. Posting the web site seems to be beyond your grasp as well.

The question was never about Mr Khan, it has always been about how the Donald has disrespected the dead Army veteran's religion.

Then denigrated the "Gold Star" mother.

    4. Notice how Jack HIJACKS the thread?

Insults a fellow poster's ability, like he's the King of HTML.

Then lectures about what HE THINKS the question should be about.

Of course suggesting that a moslem wife should not speak in public and stand behind her husband is quite reasonable. Hardly "denigrating"

But then again, Jack has to get his money's worth for his monthly subscription of "rent-a-word.com"...

Billed as the poor man's vocabulary expander....

      LOL

Jack be nimble, Jack be quick, Jack will beat you with a candlestick...

It is his stock a trade, to be a bumbler, fumbler and all around fool.
That is why he is allowed to continue to post.

      As for you ...
You have to come here and bogart Deuce's audience.

No one reads your dribble at your blog, which hasn't broken 500 views yet, in what, ten years?

Comedic relief that's your role, "O"rdure.
      You play it well enough.

When talking to a retarded criminal like you?

  7. Obama approves 30-day airstrike mission against ISIS in Libya

No mention of what legal authority the President is using ...

No negative reaction from the GOP controlled Congress that would not authorize the use of force against the Islamic State.

Wonder why those supposedly staunch defenders of the Constitution stand silent on this, the most important of issues, War & Peace.

    1. PAYBACK:

LAS VEGAS, Oct. 20— Some mornings when the beach is empty and the waves are perfect, five-foot left curls crashing gently onto water smooth as glass, Moses Mokuahi goes surfing. He savors every second of the ride, kicking out just before the swell collapses into foam and trickles into drain holes at the edge of a low concrete wall.

''The best thing about it, it's consistent,'' Mr. Mokuahi said. ''Every 108 seconds you got that same wave. After I catch five, six waves, I turn the system off. It puts a smile on my face the rest of the day.''

Mr. Mokuahi, 49, a former construction foreman who moved here from Oahu six years ago, considers himself one lucky Hawaiian, and not just because he controls the only surfable body of water on the Las Vegas Strip -- the turbine-driven one he helped build at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.

It is because he has a job -- wave-pool director -- that lets him live in a nice suburb, in a house big enough for him, his wife, their 19-year-old son and any other relatives who visit.

Never mind that Mr. Mokuahi left a rural Eden of red dirt, towering ironwood trees and the finest surfing anywhere to ride push-button waves inside a tourist-washing machine.

Las Vegas, he says, has given him material comfort he could never have attained back home. Mr. Mokuahi, a muscular, dark-haired man with a bristly mustache, misses Hawaii -- ''the best place in the world to be,'' he says matter-of-factly. But he is not complaining.

Neither, it seems, are the tens of thousands of other Hawaiians who have joined him in this casino boomtown. A broad swath of the Hawaiian middle class -- hotel workers, retired police officers, teachers and, increasingly, nurses and other professionals -- abandoned its economically depressed home state in the last 10 years, seeking better jobs, cheaper houses and easier lives here.
