Is There a Bigger Idiot then George Bush?

George Bush dancing during Dallas memorial service:

Michelle Obama looked like she wanted to give George W. Bush a motherly “stop it!” during the close of Tuesday’s memorial for the five slain police officers in Dallas.
Following an emotional service capped by an epic speech from President Obama, a performance of the “Battle Hymn of the Republic” boomed through the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center and appeared to have the 70-year-old former President of the United States turnt.
While gripping the hands of FLOTUS and his wife Laura Bush, W. smiled and swayed gleefully from side to side, at one point singing directly into Michelle Obama’s ear.

  2. Personally, I don’t know which song I like less, “Amazing Grace” or “Battle Hymn of the Republic”:

    Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord;
    He is trampling out the vintage where grapes of wrath are stored;
    He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword,
    His truth is marching on.

    CHORUS:
    Glory, glory, hallelujah! Glory, glory, hallelujah!
    Glory, glory, hallelujah! His truth is marching on.

    I have seen Him in the watchfires of a hundred circling camps;
    They have builded Him an altar in the evening dews and damps;
    I can read His righteous sentence by the dim and flaring lamps,
    His day is marching on.
    CHORUS

    He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat;
    He is sifting out the hearts of men before His Judgement Seat.
    Oh! Be swift, my soul, to answer Him, be jubilant, my feet!
    Our God is marching on.
    CHORUS

    In the beauty of the lilies Christ was born across the sea,
    With a glory in his bosom that transfigures you and me;
    As he died to make men holy, let us die to make men free,
    While God is marching on.
    CHORUS

    or:

    Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
    That saved a wretch like me.
    I once was lost but now am found,
    Was blind, but now I see.
    T'was Grace that taught my heart to fear.
    And Grace, my fears relieved.
    How precious did that Grace appear
    The hour I first believed.
    Through many dangers, toils and snares
    I have already come;
    'Tis Grace that brought me safe thus far
    and Grace will lead me home.
    The Lord has promised good to me.
    His word my hope secures.
    He will my shield and portion be,
    As long as life endures.
    Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
    And mortal life shall cease,
    I shall possess within the veil,
    A life of joy and peace.

    Yes, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
    And mortal life shall cease;
    I shall profess, within the vail,
    A life of joy and peace.

    3. Some of the earliest Christian iconography depicted Jesus as a youthful beardless shepherd, with lamb on back.

      If you choose, you can adopt that imagery....the choice is yours.

      The Cross imagery has the advantage of being realistic, as it is very probable Jesus really did get nailed to a cross.

      It is thought only the Romans possessed the power to impose the death penalty at the time, and that was one of their favorite methods.

      It is also said that the Christians are unlikely to have created such an ignoble ending to their Hero, and there is a lot of sense in that.

      And, you may also think, as one of the three Roman wine drinkers said, speaking of the behavior of Jesus on the Cross of Life, which three had just witnessed the Event, in 'Today Is Friday' by Ernie Hemorrhoid, himself a very heavy imbiber:

      "He was really pretty good in there today"

      while another opined

      "I got a gut ache"

      while asking the Jewish bartender for another drink.

      In those days the fervor for abolition was white hot in New England, at least sizzling in New York, Illinois, Ohio, and Pennsylvania too.

      You labor under your opinion that the Civil War was not worth it, and that the blacks should have been left to live and die in slavery, perhaps perpetually, an opinion not shared by most in the North, then or now.

    4. Rubbish, by the end of the 1870s, slavery was ended in every country of the Americas. Only one George Bush style political psycho had to get 700,000 of his countrymen killed to do it. Lincoln did to the cities, towns and farms in the American south what al Qaeda and Isis did to Syria and Iraq. The only thing that changed is the weapons.

      If slavery was a problem, which it was, it should have never started in The Christening of the Americas. It should have been ended legally and peacefully in Philadelphia when all those pretty words were put on paper.

      Slavery could have been ended by Lincoln buying every slave and giving stolen land to the ex slaves, not much so unlike the Jewish settlements in Palestine.

      Don’t by such a polemic fool and ape Wio style, twisting words and attributing words and attributing context I never wrote.

  6. Speaking of killers and righteous mutherfuckas we have everyone’s favorite mobster news:

    The godfather of Italy’s real-life Corleone crime family sleeps with the fishes.

    Powerful Mafia “boss of bosses” Bernardo Provenzano died Wednesday at 83, a full decade after his capture in a farmhouse on the outskirts of the Sicilian town of Corleone.

    Prior to his arrest, the elusive Provenzano spent 43 years as a fugitive — even while reigning as head of the powerful Corleone syndicate. Authorities believe he ascended to the spot as Sicily’s top boss in 1993.

    During his early days as a Mafia hitman, Provenzano became known as “The Tractor” — an criminal honorific inspired by his unforgiving approach to mowing down enemies.

    He was convicted in absentia for more than a dozen murders, for masterminding three Mafia bombings in 1993, and for ordering the 1992 executions of top Italian Mafia investigators Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino.

    Provenzano spent his final years under intense security at a Milan hospital, where the mob boss’ declining health led to a variety of physical and mental issues.

    Italian prosecutors rejected several bids by Provenzano’s attorney to relax the security intended to keep the Mafia boss from continuing to run the family from his hospital bed.

    Provenzano was a native of Corleone, the hilltop town that inspired Mario Puzo’s invention of the fictional crime family’s name in “The Godfather.”

  8. The Burning of Black Wall Street

    Greenwood is a neighborhood in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As one of the most successful and wealthiest black communities in the United States during the early 20th Century, it was popularly known as America's "Black Wall Street" until the Tulsa race riot of 1921, in which white residents massacred black residents and razed the neighborhood within hours. The riot was one of the most devastating massacres in the history of U.S. race relations, destroying the once thriving Greenwood community.

    Within five years after the massacre, surviving residents who chose to remain in Tulsa rebuilt much of the district. They accomplished this despite the opposition of many white Tulsa political and business leaders and punitive rezoning laws enacted to prevent reconstruction. It resumed being a vital black community until segregation was overturned by the Federal Government during the 1950s and 1960s. Desegregation encouraged blacks to live and shop elsewhere in the city, causing Greenwood to lose much of its original vitality. Since then, city leaders have attempted to encourage other economic development activity nearby.

    1. One African American woman, for example, Sarah Breedlove, better known as Madam C.J. Walker, created a line of cosmetic and hair products under her company Madam C.J. Walker Manufacturing Company.

      Though she was met with, as you can imagine, no shortage of resistance, she became the very first self-made female millionaire in America. Not, mind you, the first black self-made female millionaire — but the first female millionaire. And this was when a million dollars of today’s money had the buying power of 23 million. Breedlove was just one example of the burgeoning self-made wealthy blacks.

      Many of them, around 1907, had discovered a new state called Oklahoma through promotional material — called “boosters” — that were spread across the U.S. touting Oklahoma as the place of free land, full citizenship rights, and escape from bigotry.

      Many were called. And many came. Successful black doctors, accountants, attorneys, and other professionals heeded this call and moved their lives to Tulsa, Oklahoma to help build something new.

      Specifically, they settled in a long stretch of land beginning at the corner of Archer Ave. and Greenwood St., a district separated from the white neighborhoods. They lined the streets with beautiful homes. They built shops and created a vibrant economic ecosystem. And they called the district Greenwood.

      “It was a miracle of capitalism,” says Kennon, “that could trace its roots twenty years prior to a handful of men who cast their eyes into the future, convinced others to pool their resources, and risked everything to start businesses for which there was little historical precedent.”

      Starting with relatively little, but taking full advantage of the state’s boom and their collective capital, Greenwood eventually became the most affluent all-black communities in America. In a little over a decade, from 1910 to 1920, the community had built banks, libraries, grocery stores, pawn shops, jewelry stores, 21 churches, 21 restaurants and two movie theaters.

      In all, the area was made up of about nearly 200 businesses taking up 36 blocks, with a population of around 10,000. And the community was a tight-knit bunch: “The dollar,” the San Francisco Bay View Newspaper said, “circulated 36 to 100 times, sometimes taking a year for the currency to leave the community.”

The sheriff’s department named “special deputies” to enforce law, reportedly encouraging them to “grab a gun and get a nigger,” providing what amounted to effective carte blanche license to murder whomever they wanted, without consequence, provided the victim was black.

      “In an instant, the whites set their sight on the economic miracle that had provided upward mobility for these black families and made their way toward Greenwood, determined to destroy Black Wall Street.

    The latest Rasmussen Reports weekly White House Watch survey of Likely U.S. Voters finds Trump with 44% support to Clinton’s 37%. Thirteen percent (13%) favor some other candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

    This is the third week in a row that Trump has held the lead, although last week he was ahead by a statistically insignificant 42% to 40%. This week’s findings represent Trump’s highest level of support in surveys since last October and show Clinton continuing to lose ground.

  21. Leaked proposal: U.S. offering Russia military pact in Syria

    "The United States is offering Russia a new military pact against the Islamic State and al-Qaeda in Syria, according to a leaked U.S. proposal.

    If finalized, the arrangement could dramatically alter America’s role in the Arab country’s five-year civil war.

    The document published by The Washington Post calls for joint bombing operations, a command-and-control headquarters and other synchronized efforts. U.S. and Russian officials with expertise in intelligence, targeting and air operations will “work together to defeat” the extremist groups, the eight-page paper states.

    U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, who was to discuss the proposal in Russia’s capital later Thursday, declined to comment.

    “I’m going to Moscow, meeting with President (Vladimir) Putin tonight,” Kerry told reporters in Paris. “We’ll have plenty of time to talk about it and I’ll give you all a sense of where we are.”

    Dmitry Peskov, Putin’s spokesman, said only that joint U.S.-Russian efforts were key to fighting terrorism in the region.

    Such a partnership would undercut months of U.S. criticism of Russia’s military intervention in Syria. And it would put the U.S. alongside Syrian President Bashar Assad’s chief international backer, despite years of American demands for Assad to leave power.

    Russia would be getting what it has wanted since intervening in Syria in late September: an international alliance of sorts. Washington previously rebuffed Moscow’s requests for military co-operation, accusing the Russians of using anti-terrorism objectives as a pretext for protecting Assad’s position. The U.S. also says Syria’s military and Russia’s air force have repeatedly violated truces with moderate rebel groups backed by the U.S. or its allies.

    U.S. officials said no agreement with Moscow has yet been reached. Prospects for such a deal are unclear."

    3. At the Republican National Convention, a one hour video presentation will be played concerning Billygoat's sexual misdeeds.

      :) heh

      Only an hour ?

      There is enough material for a month.

      And any rate this is surely a first, a video presentation of the sexual perversions of the opposing candidates spouse.

      And let's not forget: Billygoat took many yachting trips with that child sex pervert what'shisname.

      The Clinton's are SCUM.
