US Senate Tells The World That The US Screwed Up and Attacked the Wrong Countries After 911

It Was Saudi Arabia All Along and The US Government is Guilty of Malfeasance

The Senate's Unanimous Vote to Let 9/11 Victims' Families Sue Saudi Arabia

A bill that would allow the families of 9/11 victims to sue Saudi Arabia for any role in the attacks is one small step closer to law Tuesday, after the Senate passed it unanimously. The bill goes on to the House, but the White House has promised to veto it.

So far, there’s been no public information linking the Saudi government to the attacks. But there are 28 pages of documentation from a congressional inquiry, which are said to detail links between Saudi officials and the hijackers. The Obama administration, pressured by former Senator Bob Graham and the families of victims, has promised to release those pages soon, though it hasn’t given a date yet. (Other officials suggest the pages may not really offer much of a smoking gun at all.)

In a statement, the families of several 9/11 victims applauded the Senate’s passage of the measure:
The American people, as well as our families, deserve the truth about 9/11 and those responsible deserve to be held to account.  JASTA promises us the truth, accountability and a strong warning that the United States finally will stand behind its promise of justice to those who were injured and the survivors of the three thousand children, mothers, fathers, wives and husbands who were murdered in our homeland on 9/11.
But the White House has remained staunchly against the bill. While Obama has broken with the Saudis on key issues recently, administration officials warn that the proposed law could expose U.S. officials and members of the armed forces to prosecution overseas. That means that even if the House follows suit, the bill’s path to law remains a tough one.

Which was, of course, after the attack.

Allowing US citizens to sue Iran has pushed Iran to sue the US in international courts to get their money back. And their parliament has already given preliminary approval for suing for the 1953 coup.

Face it, US you got's some splainin to do.

Iran wants US to pay damages for ‘hostile action’

New law obliges government to demand compensation for 1953 coup against leader, Iran-Iraq War and destruction of Gulf oil platforms

Iran’s parliament on Tuesday voted through a law obliging the government to demand damages from the United States for 63 years of “hostile action and crimes,” state television reported.
“The government has the duty to take the necessary measures seeking compensation for material and moral damages caused by the United States” to the country and Iranians over the past 63 years, the text reads.

It cites “material or moral damage” caused by the US during the coup against nationalist leader Mohammad Mossadegh (1953), in the Iran-Iraq war (1980-1988), in the destruction of oil platforms in the Gulf and in espionage against the Islamic republic.

The parliament did not specify a sum, but Vice President Majid Ansari said during the debate that “Iranian courts have already ruled that the US pay $50 billion in damages for its hostile actions” towards the country.

The law was passed by the conservative-dominated outgoing parliament in response to a US Supreme Court decision last month.

On April 20, the US body ruled that Iran must hand nearly $2 billion in frozen central bank assets to the survivors and relatives of those killed in attacks it has been accused of organizing.

These attacks include the 1983 bombing of a US Marine barracks in Beirut and the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia.

The ruling affects around 1,000 Americans.

On May 10, President Hassan Rouhani said Tehran was preparing international legal action to recover the nearly $2 billion in frozen assets.

“We will not allow the United States to swallow this money so easily,” he told a crowd of thousands in the southeastern city of Kerman.

Six Clinton aides set for depositions in email case

    By Sarah Westwood (@sarahcwestwood) • 5/17/16 1:28 PM

A conservative group will interview the first of six former aides to Hillary Clinton Wednesday as it pushes a federal judge to allow it to question the former secretary of state herself.

Judicial Watch, which has sued the State Department over its slow response to Freedom of Information Act requests, published a deposition schedule Tuesday that included upcoming meetings with Cheryl Mills, Huma Abedin and Jake Sullivan, three of Clinton's closest staffers at the State Department.

The nonprofit will also question Bryan Pagliano, the Clinton aide who set up a private server in Clinton's home. Pagliano has reportedly received an immunity deal from the FBI, which is investigating Clinton's use of a personal server to handle classified information.

A federal judge granted Judicial Watch's request to interview Clinton aides after determining the State Department did not make a sufficient effort to provide documents requested through FOIA. The agency has repeatedly come under fire for its slow and incomplete responses to records requests....

Interviews in Civil Suit Over Hillary Clinton Email Server to Begin This Week

Current and former State Department officials will be questioned under oath

      May 17, 2016 1:36 p.m. ET

WASHINGTON—Interviews in a civil lawsuit with current and former State Department officials concerning former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server will begin this week.

Lewis Lukens, a former deputy assistant secretary of state, will be interviewed under oath in the first deposition taken as part of a lawsuit by the conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch over access to Mrs. Clinton’s records during her time in office.

The civil lawsuit, which targets the State Department, doesn’t name Mrs. Clinton as a defendant, but it has the potential to complicate her presidential bid. Mrs. Clinton is seeking to clinch the Democratic nomination against rival Bernie Sanders and turn her attention to a likely general-election contest against presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump.

The depositions, which will explore why Mrs. Clinton set up a private email server for her government work, will become part of the public record. Judge Emmet Sullivan, a Democratic appointee, granted Judicial Watch the right to conduct discovery, allowing the group to seek information from State Department officials—a rare order in a case concerning the Freedom of Information Act.....

“The entire world knows that the Jews control the sources of knowledge and fortune, in order to take hold of the reins of culture and economy. In America and in Europe, they are now the kings of finance, the leaders of the media, and the owners of the publishing houses. They are behind many of the ideological and political movements in the East and West."
