an article from Hot Air saying Trump will just make it up as he goes along - which they all do - and that he will be, because of his 'personality', easily bamboozled by the enemies of the USA.

  4. Forget Yellowstone... Snake River Plain’s volcano is a MUCH BIGGER threat to America

FOR those that thought Yellowstone super-volcano was one of the biggest natural threats to the USA, think again.

    2. Damn University of Idaho coal fired steam heating system.

And I told them to switch to solar and wind.

Hasn't bothered me recently as I'm to the north, hunkered down.

    3. What I don't get is why the idiots don't simply switch to electricity from the dams, but that's evidently too simple.

      Actually, I misspoke above.

These days the coal is gone and they are burning wood chips.

      There's a coal shortage?

      Gee.

    5. Nah.

      Excess wood chip supply.

If you'd ever lived in a town with wood chips everywhere you'd know what that means.

I think maybe you've contributed to this dire situation.

      Have you visited lately ?

With wood chips coming out of your ears ?

    6. .

I know all about wood chips. I have to clean out my flower beds and landscape every year and put a new layer of chips in.

Of course, I wouldn't use those soft wood chips from Idaho.

    7. What hell you got chips in your flower bed for ?

      That's stooopid.

    8. My first house in Moscow had wood chips in the walls as insulation.

If that sucker had ever caught fire.....Roman Candle.

I built a great big bed out of wood for my wife and I.

  5. ISIS loses $800 mln due to US-led coalition raids on its headquarters

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Wednesday, a US military source revealed, that the so-called ISIS had lost about 800 million dollars due to the air strikes conducted by the US-led international coalition on its headquarters.

The Deputy-Commander of operations and intelligence in the international coalition, Major General Peter Gersten, said in a press statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The international coalition air strikes targeted ISIS treasuries and caused ISIS financial deficit to increase by 90 percent.”

Gersten continued, “The US forces received intelligence information indicating the presence of a treasury containing 150 million dollars belonging to ISIS inside a house in Mosul,” pointing out that, “The coalition aircraft bombard the house and destructed the treasury.”

“The total devastating amount of money is estimated between 500 and 800 million dollars,” he also added.

  6. I don't quite follow how $150 million grew to $800 million so quickly, but whatever.

Glad to see you've recovered your self.

It is a bit confusing. But then, it is the Iraqi News reporting on reports coming out of DOD. A lot of room for confusion there.

I assume (perhaps dangerously) that the $800 million is the total they estimate they have destroyed throughout the war and the $150 million was from the one house.

      Talk about walking around money.

The Latest Aleppo Battle May Give the Islamic State Another Reprieve

    Fabrice Balanche

    April 26, 2016

Aside from President Obama, none of the main players in Syria has an interest in rushing toward Raqqa, so they will likely focus on exploiting the various campaigns around Aleppo instead.

Despite the ongoing peace negotiations in Geneva, each camp in the Syria war is preparing for a general resumption of hostilities in the Aleppo area. In addition to the strategically important city itself, the Islamic State-occupied territory between Aleppo and the Euphrates is increasingly becoming a focal point, shifting attention away from the group's stronghold to the east and likely further delaying the Obama administration's goal of pushing IS out of its "capital" in Raqqa....

In fact Plato was horrified by the idea of democracy itself.

What this country needs is a system of Scandinavian Princes like myself, and an Army of Guardians, and the peasants and saw dust brained quirks of the world silenced and in their place.

Trump dominates Tuesday primaries; 71% of PA GOP voters support temporary ban on Muslim immigration

Donald Trump sweeps 5 States in ‘Acela Corridor’ primaries. Exit polls show continued strong support for temporary ban on Muslim immigration. This consistent support for a temporary ban on allowing non-citizen Muslims into the United States is one of the driving forces behind Trump’s candidacy. It doesn’t seem to receive a great deal of attention....
