candidate for Parliament from the pro-Kurdish Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) and 11 members of a provincial youth branch of the Republican People's Party (CHP) were among the 95 victims of a deadly attack that hit a peace rally at the heart of Ankara on Saturday.
At least 95 people were killed and more than 200 were wounded when twin blasts ripped through a crowd of hundreds of pro-Kurdish and labor activists who were preparing to head to a peace rally in Ankara, in Turkey's worst terror attack ever.
The Prime Ministry has shared a list of 77 victims of the attack identified as of Sunday morning, as devastated relatives waited in front of Ankara hospitals for word on their loved ones. A total of 36 bodies have been handed over to their families so far, according to a statement released by the Prime Ministry's Coordination Center. A total of 160 people remained hospitalized as of Sunday, 65 of whom were in intensive care units, a sign that the death toll may increase even further.
One of the victims identified by the Prime Ministry is Kübra Meltem Mollaoğlu, an HDP candidate from İstanbul who was hoping to be elected as a deputy in the Nov. 1 parliamentary election.
Mollaoğlu's social media posts days before the attack, including selfies with HDP Co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş and other party officials, have been widely shared by Twitter users.
A total of 11 members of the CHP's Malatya youth branch were also killed, according to CHP youth branches Chairman İrfan İnanç Yıldız.
CHP Malatya Youth Branch member Eren Akın (R) has recently posted this selfie with CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu on his Facebook page.
The 11 people were part of a total of 18 members of the youth group who traveled from the eastern province to Ankara to attend the rally, Yıldız said in remarks published on the website of Hürriyet daily. Four attendees were injured, two of whom in critical condition, he said, adding that the remaining three were unhurt because they had left the scene before the explosion to get water.
9-year-old Veysel Deniz Atılgan was killed along with his father.
Heartbreaking images showing the happy scenes from the lives of the victims, ranging from a 70-year-old woman to 19-year-old students and a 9-year old child, have been circulated on social media. The victims include, in addition to political party members, students, members of workers unions and leftist parties.
Elif Kanlıoğlu (R), a second-year university student who was killed in the attack.
One of the pictures widely circulated on social media shows Yılmaz and Gülhan Elmascan smiling at a camera on their wedding day just a year ago.

Another one, a selfie, features university student Dijle Deli and others traveling on a bus to Ankara to attend the rally hours before the attack. “We are going to Ankara to bring PEACE,” Deli wrote in her post.
Being a member of “Saturday mothers,” a group of women in search of their sons who went missing at the height of Turkey's anti-terror campaign in southeastern Anatolia in the 1990s, Meryem Bulut (70) was no stranger to rallies and marches. Bulut, also a member of the HDP's Şişli branch, was a victim of the attack. Her grandson was reportedly killed in Sinjar in Iraq while fighting against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), which stormed Yazidi villages there last year.

  3. In 1937–1938, approximately 50,000–70,000 Alevis and Kurds were killed and thousands went into exile. A key component of the turkification process was the policy of massive population resettlement. Referring to the main policy document in this context, the 1934 law on resettlement, a policy targeting the region of Dersim as one of its first test cases, with disastrous consequences for the local population.

According to human rights organisations since the beginning of the uprising 4,000 villages have been destroyed, in which between 380,000 and 1,000,000 Kurdish villagers have been forcibly evacuated from their homes. Some 5,000 Turks and 35,000 Kurds, including 18,000 civilians have been killed, 17,000 Kurds have disappeared and 119,000 Kurds have been imprisoned by Turkish authorities. According to the Humanitarian Law Project, 2,400 Kurdish villages were destroyed and 18,000 Kurds were executed, by the Turkish government.[233] Other estimates have put the number of destroyed Kurdish villages at over 4,000. In total up to 3,000,000 people (mainly Kurds) have been displaced by the conflict, an estimated 1,000,000 of which are still internally displaced as of 2009. The Assyrian Minority was heavily affected as well, as now most (50-60 thousand/70,000) of its population is in refuge in Europe.

Kurds are the largest ethnic minority in Syria, and made up between 10 and 15 percent of the Syrian population as of 2011—between 2 and 2.5 million people. The Kurdish population in Syria is relatively small in comparison to the Kurdish populations in nearby countries, such as Turkey (14.4 - 16 million), Iran (7.9 million), and Iraq (4.7 - 6.2 million). The majority of Syrian Kurds speak Kurmanji, a Kurdish dialect spoken in Turkey and northeastern Iraq and Iran, and are mainly Sunni Muslims with the exception of some Yazidis and Kurdish Christians.

It is estimated that at the beginning of the 20th century around 12,000 Kurds lived in Damascus; an unknown number of Kurds lived in the Kurd-Dagh region; 16,000 Kurds lived in the Jarabulus region; and an unknown number lived in the Jazira province where they were likely the majority. The French geographers Fevret and Gibert estimated that in 1953 out of the total 160,000 inhabitants of Jazira, Kurds made up 37,5%. In the 1920s after the failed Kurdish rebellions in Kemalist Turkey, there was a large influx of Kurds to Syria’s Jazira province. It is estimated that 25,000 Kurds fled at this time to Syria. These Kurdish newcomers, constituted no more than 10% of the Kurdish population of Jazira at the time and all were granted citizenship by the French mandate authorities who recognized their agricultural skills. However this contradicts with the estimates of the French geographers Fevret and Gibert who estimated that there were about 60,000 Kurds in the Jazirah in 1953.

Even though Kurds have a long history in Syria, the government has used the fact that many Kurds fled to Syria during the 1920s to claim that Kurds are not indigenous to the country and to justify the government’s discriminatory policies against them.

    Muslim inbreeding
    By Carol Brown

Inbreeding is common in Islamic culture. It’s been going on since Mohammed sanctioned first-cousin marriages 1,400 years ago. I guess there’s nothing like getting marriage advice handed down from one generation to the next that originated with a lunatic pedophile.

PJ Media reports that because Mohammed encouraged inbreeding, many Muslims regard intermarriage as part of their religion. First-cousin marriages are also viewed as a source of social status, as a means of keeping wealth within the family, and as a form of control. In addition, it is a vehicle to safeguard families against the influence of non-Muslim outsiders, which contributes to insular communities that do not integrate into Western society.

So just how many Muslims are inbred?

    A lot.

As written in a seminal report by a Danish psychologist, Nicolai Sennels, “half of the world’s Muslims are inbred as a result of consanguineous marriages.” So we’re talking about one billion inbred Muslims. And rising.

Inbreeding is more common among Muslims living in Islamic countries compared to those living in the West. But even among those in the West, the numbers are shockingly high. Sennels states that more than half the Pakistanis living in the U.K. are married to first cousins. Per an article at Bare Naked Islam, although Pakistanis account for 3% of births in the U.K., they make up 33% of children born with birth defects in the country.

In addition to increased risk of genetic disorders, IQ is negatively affected. Normal IQ averages around 100. “Low intelligence” is set at 85 or 90, mild disability at 70-79, and moderate disability at 50-69.

Studies show that inbred children have an average IQ of 79. One study showed a 400% increased risk for inbred children having an IQ lower than 70. The normal risk for having a child in this IQ range is 1.2%. That risk jumps to 6.2% when children are inbred.

Not surprisingly, children with low IQ are far more likely to drop out of school and have limited job skills, resulting in limited prospects for employment. In addition, inbred individuals are at risk for a wide range of developmental abnormalities that result in poor social skills and lack of empathy, among other things. Inbreeding also results in a significantly higher percentage of still births as well as increased risk of mental illness, including schizophrenia and criminal insanity.

All of these risks intensify as one generation after another inbreeds, compounding genetic abnormalities. And we’re 1,400 years in with no end in sight. That’s 50 generations' worth of inbred Muslims.

When you combine an Islamic “holy book” that teaches hate with rampant inbreeding, there is no doubt that Islamic culture is sub-par (to put it mildly) and not compatible with Western values and modernity. And yet this intellectually, physically, and spiritually compromised population continues to advance around the globe, gaining ground with each passing day.

How can that be? For all of our intellectual, spiritual, and cultural superiority, perhaps we are the fools after all.

(Videos on Muslim inbreeding can be found here, here, here, and here. Warning: Many of the images are graphic and not for the faint of heart.)

    2. You really are a racist fool. No other human group has had more hereditary research done on them than Ashkenazi Jews.

The most detailed genetic analysis study of Ashkenazi diseases was published in September 2014 by Shai Carmon and his team at Columbia University. The results of the detailed study show that today's 10 million Ashkenai Jews descend from a population only 350 individuals who lived about 600-800 years ago. That population derived from both Europe and the Middle East. [14]There is evidence that the population bottleneck may have allowed deleterious alleles to become more prevalent in the population due to genetic drift.[15] As a result, this group has been particularly intensively studied, so many mutations have been identified as common in Ashkenazis.[16] Of these diseases, many also occur in other Jewish groups and in non-Jewish populations, although the specific mutation which causes the disease may vary between populations. For example, two different mutations in the glucocerebrosidase gene causes Gaucher's disease in Ashkenazis, which is their most common genetic disease, but only one of these mutations is found in non-Jewish groups.[4] A few diseases are unique to this group; for example, familial dysautonomia is almost unknown in other populations.[4]

Are you going to throw them out as well Adolpho?

    Muslims conquering the heartland
    By Carol Brown

No place is safe from the long arm of Islamic supremacy as Muslims seek to dominate every aspect of our culture. And they do so even when they are in the minority, as when most recently Muslim students at Wichita State University (WSU) managed to apply enough leverage (not that it takes much these days) to turn the university chapel into a Muslim-friendly prayer space (i.e., a mosque).

WSU has a student body of 15,000, the majority of whom are Christian. About 1,000 of the students are Muslim, constituting 6% of the student population. But being a small minority didn’t stop them from taking over the chapel. In fact, they had the backing of university administrators (dhimmis).

A summary of the Fox News report on this story is noted below, with a bit of commentary in parenthesis:

Muslim students pressured the university for a space to pray that would be “faith neutral,” complaining the chapel was a “predominantly Judeo-Christian environment.” (This is how Muslims assert supremacy.)
University administrators catered to their demands, with one administrator stating: “In the spirit of today – there was belief at the time this was discussed that the space was not as flexible for all to feel welcome and included.” (“Spirit of today” = pandering to Muslims. “All” = Muslims. “Welcome and included” = Muslims in, Christians out.)
In the name of inclusivity, faith neutrality, today’s spirit, and ensuring that all feel welcome, the pews, the altar, and Christian religious décor were removed from the chapel. Portable chairs were brought in, making space for Muslim prayer rugs. (This is Islamic supremacy in action. It is not about coexisting in peace, but about supplanting all other religions with their own.)
Some alumni and donors spoke out about the removal of the pews, feeling that went too far, while also expressing confusion as to why they were removed. (If these folks were educated on the core tenets of the Quran, they would not be confused, and they would have been in a better position to speak up sooner and more boldly, perhaps averting this act of Muslim conquest.)
The student body president accused those critical of the renovation of being “Islamophobic.” (Useful idiots are everywhere, but they can be found in particularly high concentrations in colleges and universities. And this was domination, not renovation.)

The gutting of the chapel at WSU is a prime example of how Muslims assert supremacy even when they are the minority. It highlights Peter Hammond’s research, which linked the percentage of Muslims in any given population to levels of escalation in sharia enforcement, violence, and ultimately total domination.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Hammond writes that “from 5% on they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population.” Indeed, this is what unfolded at WSU, where Muslim students constitute just 6% of the population: “Inordinate influence in proportion to their population.”

And so the university chapel was stripped down to what now amounts to a large empty room.

This is what the chapel looked like before Islamic supremacy won the day:

It appears to have been an extremely spare and basic space in which to pray. But apparently it was just too much for Muslims students to tolerate. (Or so they feigned.)

This is the chapel after the stripping:

But they’re not done. Muslims are never done. That is the nature of how a totalitarian ideology advances until it consumes every living thing in its path.

So now these students are petitioning the university to have handheld bidets installed in the university’s bathrooms. Apparently such plumbing is common in Islamic countries.

Hey, I have an idea. How about these students choose from any one of the 57 (and counting) Islamic countries in the world where they can find a mosque on every corner and handheld bidets in the bathrooms, and enjoy all the perks of living among fellow Muslims?

But of course they won’t. Instead, they will continue to make more demands, and we will continue to cave. Because the West just can’t seem to get enough of this madness.

[Of note, this is not the first time Muslims in America have turned chapels into mosques, or gained special privileges for prayer space not afforded to other religious groups, and/or intimidated Christians and Jews in a prayer space. See here, here, here, here, here, here, and here for a few examples.]

  11. Obama on Putin in Syria: “My definition of leadership would be leading on climate change”

posted at 3:21 pm on October 12, 2015 by Allahpundit

Via Twitchy, this is like being down 28-0 at halftime of the Super Bowl and having your QB tell a reporter that baseball’s actually his best sport.

My definition of leadership is maximizing your side’s advantage by making smart executive decisions in a high-risk atmosphere. Who’s done a better job of that lately in Syria? Obama notes that Putin’s only involved now because his previous strategy, of supplying Assad and his Iranian patrons and hoping they’d succeed on the battlefield, didn’t work. But our strategy, to the extent that we’ve ever had anything one might reasonably call a “strategy” in Syria, hasn’t worked either. We’ve supplied some of the Sunni rebels with weapons but they haven’t managed to overcome the Assad/Hezbollah/Iran/Russia axis. We tried to train our own rebel army before the project ended in total humiliation, with the White House whining that they never wanted to do it in the first place. When Putin’s strategy didn’t work, he adapted by agreeing to put Russian military assets in the field to turn the tide of war towards Assad — and that strategy is working. When Obama’s strategy didn’t work, he … made a concession to the other side, mollifying Iran and Russia by agreeing that there’s no rush for Assad to leave so long as he agrees to leave at some point as part of an eventual political settlement. Putin changed the facts on the ground to maximize his leverage at the bargaining table. Obama reacted to those changed facts by trying to accommodate him. Which sounds more like leadership?

Meanwhile, I’m amazed he had the stones to cite the Iran nuclear deal as proof of his own leadership with this story breaking in the Times this weekend:

Iran tested a new guided long-range ballistic missile on Sunday, hours before Parliament, in a rowdy session, approved the generalities of the nuclear agreement reached in July between Iran and world powers, the state news agency IRNA reported.

The missile launch may have violated the terms of the agreement, reached in Vienna with six world powers. According to some readings of the deal, it placed restrictions on Iran’s ambitious missile program.

Experts have been debating the interpretation of a United Nations Security Council resolution, adopted a few days after the accord was agreed upon, that bars Iran from developing missiles “designed to carry nuclear warheads.”

The White House will argue, of course, that the missile launch doesn’t violate the deal — not because it’s convinced that that’s true but because protecting Obama’s big diplomatic “achievement” obligates them to look the other way at any Iranian violation unless it’s indisputable. Returning to our definition of “leadership,” does that sound like leadership to you? One side is testing weapons arguably banned by the new treaty, secure in the belief that the other side will make a de facto concession by not holding it against them. The other side does in fact make that concession. Which one has made a smart but risky decision to maximize its own advantage?

    Save Iraq, Arm the Kurds

If American policy wants to be truly effective, it should do more than just give a few weapons and limited training. Instead, the United States must help Kurdistan to organize, train and equip a nonpolitical Kurdish army. The United States can do this by greatly increasing its support to the Ministry of Pesh Merga Affairs’ program dedicated to building nonpartisan units. The program requires that new recruits join the nonpolitical units as individuals, not party members. The ministry has managed to raise one nonparty brigade, and needs additional support to increase the number of units.

The United States can turn these nonparty brigades into the nucleus of a new Kurdish army by providing the necessary weapons and training to make them effective, which will in turn encourage further recruitment. An American-assisted Kurdish army could make Kurdistan more stable by depriving politicians of control over military units. And a politically independent army reduces the risk of the K.D.P. and P.U.K. turning their guns against each other again. Furthermore, American involvement in the Kurdish army would keep the Kurds focused on the Islamic State rather than any domestic agenda.

Turkey should not be a problem. Although it is currently fighting its own Kurdish population, it has close relations with the Iraqi Kurds. And though Turkey would have much to gain from a stable Kurdistan — indeed, Turkey has strong commercial and security ties with the Iraqi Kurds — the United States should make support for an Iraqi Kurdish army conditional on no bid for independence.

In any event, Iraqi Kurdish leaders are in no rush to seek independence. The Islamic State threat is a brutal reminder of the dangers of going it alone. The local economy is weak, Kurdistan is overwhelmed with refugees and its neighbors will not tolerate its separation from Iraq...

Hebephrenic: a lack of insight...failure to learn from experience...

The Kurds could give a shit about Assad, about Iraq, about ISIS except as ISIS affects them. They will fight for Kurdistan but not for some dicks in Baghdad.

How many times must we re-visit this rodeo?

The US has an enemy so they find some party or indigenous group we can arm up and use as surrogate. Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, the Syrian 'moderates'. Now the Kurds? When has it worked?

U.S. Leadership Ushers New Age of Christian Martyrdom
Twelve Christians are publicly raped, beheaded, and crucified for refusing to renounce Christ in Syria.

Wherever U.S. leadership has helped Islamic jihadis topple secular autocrats in the name of “democracy and freedom,” indigenous Christian minorities are being forced to convert to Islam or die.

    Many are accepting death.

Most recently, on August 28 near Aleppo, the Islamic State (IS or ISIS) tortured, mutilated, publicly raped, beheaded and crucified 12 Christians for saying “they would never renounce Christ” for Muhammad.

The jihadis took one group in front of a large crowd. They cut off the fingertips of a 12-year-old boy, who steadfastly refused to submit to Islam. They “severely beat him, telling his father they would stop the torture only if he, the father, returned to Islam.” He refused, so they “also tortured and beat him and the two other ministry workers. The three men and the boy then met their deaths in crucifixion.”

According to a Christian leader associated with the martyrs, “They were left on their crosses for two days. No one was allowed to remove them.” A sign saying “infidels” was placed next to their crosses.

The other eight Christians, including two women aged 29 and 33, were also ordered to renounce Christ and embrace Islam before a large crowd. They refused:

The Islamic extremists then publicly raped the women, who continued to pray during the ordeal, leading the ISIS militants to beat them all the more furiously.

As the two women and the six men knelt before they were beheaded, they were all praying.

“Villagers said some were praying in the name of Jesus, others said some were praying the Lord’s prayer, and others said some of them lifted their heads to commend their spirits to Jesus,” the ministry director said. “One of the women looked up and seemed to be almost smiling as she said, ‘Jesus!’”

After they were beheaded, their bodies were hung on crosses, the ministry director said, his voice breaking.

The same is happening in the two other Arab nations where the U.S., under the pretext of “freedom and democracy,” overthrew the secular dictators who had long kept a lid on the jihadis: Iraq and Libya.

Late last year, Andrew White, an Anglican priest known as the “Vicar of Baghdad,” recounted the horrific atrocities Christians in Iraq are suffering—including seeing their children chopped in half for refusing to embrace Islam. One of his anecdotes follows:

ISIS turned up and they said to the [Christian] children, “You say the words [shehada, convert to Islam], that you will follow Muhammad.” And the children, all under 15, four of them, they said, “No, we love Jesus. We have always loved Jesus. We have always followed Jesus. Jesus has always been with us.” They [ISIS] said, “Say the words!” They [children] said, “No, we can’t.” [White starts sobbing] They chopped all their heads off. How do you respond to that? You just cry. They’re my children. That is what we have been going through. That is what we are going through.

It should be noted that the targeting of Christian children in Iraq goes back soon after the ousting of Saddam Hussein. In June 2008, a Canadian parliamentary committee heard about how “militant Muslims” were crucifying Christian children: “Since the war began in 2003, about 12 children, many as young as 10, have been kidnapped and killed, then nailed to makeshift crosses near their homes to terrify and torment their parents.”

    1. In one of his Facebook postings, White, who regularly posted pictures of Christian martyrs, wrote:

Today’s Pictures are too awful to show. You know I love to show photos but the photo I was sent today was the most awful I have ever seen. A family of 8 all shot through the face laying in a pool of blood with their Bible open on the couch. They would not convert it cost them their life.

White also told of how Islamic State members came to a Christian man saying, “Either you convert to Islam or we kill all your children.” The desperate father declared the words, the shehada, that “There is no god but Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah,” thus becoming a Muslim.

Contrite at heart, he phoned White crying, “Father, father, I said the words! Does that mean Jesus doesn’t love me anymore? I’ve always loved Jesus but I said those words because I couldn’t see my children being killed!”

White responded: “No Elias, Jesus still loves you—he will always love you.”

Aside from the numerous historic accounts of Christians slaughtered for refusing to renounce Christ for Muhammad—whether 100,000 Georgians beheaded or burned alive, or a “mere” 813 Italians decapitated—even in the very details, precedents abound: for example, remorse at converting out of fear. Consider the following account from Medieval Egypt:

In 1389, a great procession of Copts who had accepted Muhammad under fear of death, marched through Cairo. Repenting of their apostasy, they now wished to atone for it by the inevitable consequence of returning to Christianity. So as they marched, they announced that they believed in Christ and renounced Muhammad. They were seized and all the men were beheaded one after another in an open square before the women. But this did not terrify the women; so they, too, were all martyred (Crucified Again, pgs. 113-114).

Speaking of Egyptian martyrs, we come to the third “liberated” Arab nation where Christians are now being put to the sword for refusing to renounce Christ: Libya.

Earlier this year, the Islamic State released a video depicting 21 Egyptian Christians being decapitated in Libya. While holding their victims’ bodies down, Islamic State members shoved their fingers in the Christians’ eyes, craned their heads back, and sliced away at their throats with knives. As with the recent public rape, beheading, and crucifixion of those 12 Christians near Aleppo, some of the Egyptian Copts were also seen praying to Christ. One Coptic priest later described the scene as follows:

The name of Jesus was their last word…. With that name, whispered at the very last, their martyrdom was sealed.

Over one month before the video appeared, the BBC had falsely reported that the majority of those now slaughtered Copts were “released.” Sadly, such downplaying of Muslim persecution of Christians is standard for the BBC.

When the Islamic State released another video in April of more Christians in Libya being massacred, a masked IS spokesman addressed “Christians everywhere”:

    2. We say to Christians everywhere, the Islamic State will expand, with Allah’s permission. And it will reach you even if you are in fortified strongholds. So whoever enters Islam will have security…. But whoever refuses will see nothing from us but the edge of a spear. The men will be killed and the children will be enslaved, and their wealth will be taken as booty. This is the judgment of Allah and His Messenger.

The next scene portrays captive Ethiopian Christians being shot in the back of the head or having their heads carved off.

The ongoing slaughter of Christians by the Islamic State and the destruction of churches and antiquities must be laid at the feet of those Western nations that, intentionally or unintentionally, paved the way for the Islamic State.

As Russian President Vladimir Putin recently said before the United Nations, while addressing those nations that supported the “Arab Spring,” chief among them America:

Instead of the triumph of democracy and progress, we got violence, poverty and social disaster — and nobody cares a bit about human rights, including the right to life. I cannot help asking those who have forced that situation: Do you realize what you have done?

Whether they realize it or not, they continue to do it in Syria—with Christians paying the highest price.[i]

Raymond Ibrahim is of Crucified Again: Exposing Islam’s New War on Christians
[i] Aside from the Islamic State’s slaughter of Christians who refuse to convert to Islam, Muslim individuals, mobs, terrorists, and governments all around the world have been known to try to force Christians to convert, sometimes on pain of death. Some anecdotes follow:

Palestine: Christians in Gaza protested over the “kidnappings and forced conversions of some former believers to Islam.” The ever-dwindling Christian community banged on a church bell while chanting, “With our spirit, with our blood we will sacrifice ourselves for you, Jesus.”

    3. Pakistan: In 2004, a-two-year old child was raped because her Christian father “refused to convert to Islam.” Another “devoted Christian” was butchered by Muslim men “with multiple axe blows [24 per autopsy] for refusing to convert to Islam.” In April 2014, A Muslim security guard murdered a Christian worker who refused to convert to Islam.
Uganda: After a gang of Muslims brandishing machetes stormed a church during service, hacking one 18-year-old woman to death and leaving three others, including a one-year-old baby, injured, the pastor explained that the attackers belong to a local “group of Muslims” which seeks “to transform [Christian-majority] Uganda into an Islamic nation and would kill anyone who refused to convert.”
Nigeria: A Christian teenage girl told of how Boko Haram came to her household and slaughtered her father and brother because they refused to convert to Islam. After abusing her, they tied her up and left her in a state of shock between the two corpses.
Bangladesh: After shutting down the construction of a church, a local government official threatened Christians with eviction from their village unless they renounced their faith and embraced Islam. Said one of the Christians: “Their threats chilled me to the bone. That is why I pretended to accept Islam, but faith in Christ is the wellspring of my life.” Another said: “The chairman is clipping the wings of our faith. I do not know how long we can grin and bear it. We want religious freedom. We want to practice our religion freely.”
Russia: In Tatarstan, a Muslim-majority republic in Russia, seven churches were burned and “increased pressure on Christians to convert to Islam” was widespread.
Uzbekistan: A 26-year-old Christian woman, partially paralyzed from youth, and her elderly mother were violently attacked by invaders who ransacked their home, confiscating “icons, Bibles, religious calendars, and prayer books.” At the police department, the paralyzed woman was “offered to convert to Islam.” She refused and was accordingly fined almost two years’ worth of her wages.

It is the Christians and others that should come to the USA as refugees, not 4 million Moslems.

Thursday, while the world was focused on Muslim bombings and rioting in Iraq, this disturbing news item got buried in Section B:
ONITSHA, Nigeria (Reuters) - Christian youths burned the corpses of Muslims on Thursday on the streets of Onitsha in southeastern Nigeria, the city worst hit by religious riots that have killed at least 146 people across the country in five days. Christian mobs, seeking revenge for the killings of Christians in the north, attacked Muslims with machetes, set fire to them, destroyed their houses and torched mosques in two days of violence in Onitsha, where 93 people died.

Graphic video obtained by NBC News shows sheriff's deputies tasing a mentally ill Georgia man in the groin while he was restrained in a chair.

Two Georgia sheriff's deputies and a health care worker are currently being tried for involuntary manslaughter in connection with the death of 22-year-old Matthew Ajibade, who died after being taken into police custody on New Year's Day.

A Chatham County grand jury also charged Jason Kenny, the deputy who used the taser, with aggravated assault and cruelty to an inmate. Defendants Cpl. Maxine Evans and Gregory Brown, a nurse at the Chatham County jail, were also charged with reckless conduct for failing to monitor Ajibade's status.

Ajibade, 22, was handcuffed to a restraint chair in an isolation cell after he allegedly hit his girlfriend and broke a deputy's nose while in the midst of what his family described as a bipolar episode. Officers also placed a spit mask over his mouth. He was found dead in the chair, still wearing the spit mask, in the early morning hours of January 2...
