Israel’s state policy of moving its citizens into occupied territory — a position that violates international law - supported by US taxpayers through tax deductions claimed by billionaire American Zionists

  1. White House Brainstorms How Best to Hurt Netanyahu, AIPAC

WASHINGTON (AP) — In what is becoming an increasingly nasty grudge match, the White House is mulling ways to undercut Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s upcoming trip to Washington and his interference in US politics

    1. The administration has already ruled out meetings between Netanyahu and Obama, saying it would be inappropriate for the two to meet so close to Israel’s March 17 elections. But the White House is now doubling down on a cold-shoulder strategy, including dispatching Cabinet members out of the country and sending a lower-ranking official than normal to represent the administration at the annual policy conference of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, the officials said.

Vice President Joe Biden will be away, his absence behind Netanyahu conspicuous in coverage of the speech to Congress. Other options were described by officials, who spoke only on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss internal deliberations.

Tamaulipas is the northern state most associated with violence, one that you cannot name without the typical comments arising that bring the harsh reality that exists in the state, and although violence is widespread throughout the country, but here were born the Zetas with all their violent fury, here they made their stronghold and with narco corridos have become part of the social culture.

This is Reynosa to Nuevo Laredo, because from Reynosa to San Fernando, there is a more ancient history, the longest lived cartel of Mexico, which can be attributed to the birth of the Zetas.

Tamaulipas is composed of 43 Municipalities, of which few do not have organized crime activities in its streets.

There have been more than ten years of violence in the state, of failed strategies, and where cells of criminals have multiplied as has been documented at nuevolaredoenvivonoticias.blogspot.mx.

Experts explain that the resurgence in violence in this state, burst forth due to fighting between small groups of criminal organisation, born under the banner of Los Zetas and the Gulf Cartel, but now they have gained autonomy and fight over state territory.

  6. In general, mostl people are self-serving and full of shit.

One of the links on the posted article refers to the Klugman Report and how the Israelis appropriated Palestinian lands that were owned by absentee Palestinian refugees. The Israeli firsters, criticize the Palestinian Arabs who claim and want their lands and homes returned to them.

The Palestinians fled their lands for fear for their lives. European Jews had a similar experience during the forties. You would assume the Israelis, being a Jewish State, would sympathize with the Palestinians as many of the lucky Jews who fled Europe, took nothing more than the clothes they were wearing, abandoning homes, businesses and prized possessions.

Now pay attention: Here is where the self-serving , full of shit phenomena kicks in. The irony:

BERLIN (AP) — Germany must make a stronger effort to identify and return thousands of looted art pieces the Nazis took from Jews, the president of the World Jewish Congress said Thursday as he met with top government officials in Berlin to push his case.

Ronald Lauder told The Associated Press that Nazi-looted art still hangs in German museums, government offices and private collections. He said the country's legislation needs to be changed in order to facilitate its return.

The art pieces stolen from the Jews "are the last prisoners of World War II," Lauder said. "They should be returned to the victims of the Holocaust and their heirs."

The topic became the focus of attention in Germany and abroad after the 2012 discovery of more than 1,400 artworks in the Munich apartment of Cornelius Gurlitt, the son of a Nazi-era art dealer.

Some of the paintings, drawings and prints are claimed by the heirs of former owners persecuted by the Nazis. The affair prompted fresh scrutiny of how Germany handles disputes over Nazi-looted art.

I would argue that the heirs of the Palestinians that had to abandon their homes and property is on moral par with second and third generation descendants making claims to stolen but mostly abandoned art, left by Jews fleeing for their lives.

Bureaucracy vs. Occupation: Hamas Government Bulldozes Gazans' Homes
      By Mohammed Omer

IN A strange interpretation of eminent domain—the government's right to take private property for public use—on the morning of May 16 the Gaza Strip's Hamas-led government, citing a lack of building permits and the need to requisition the land for public use—in this case, to build the Dawaa and Humanitarian Science College—dispatched bulldozers to the Rafah refugee camp in southern Gaza. The machines typically associated with Israeli occupation forces immediately began flattening the targeted homes, the residents of which insist they were given little or no notice, and that their claims to their homes are valid.

Many of the homes in the targeted district belonged to Gazans who had lost their houses during Israel's December 2008-January 2009 attack on Gaza dubbed Operation Cast Lead. Following the murderous 22-day attack, the Hamas government announced it would allow the reconstruction of more than 1,000 housing units, many to be rebuilt with cement smuggled through tunnels between Rafah and Egypt. Prior to the assault, however, in November 2008, Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh had designated the land for the construction of a new university and sports field dedicated to science and humanitarian efforts. Unfortunately, the post-attack decree failed to cancel the earlier one. So the homeowners rebuilt. And on May 16, the bulldozers arrived.

      From Homeowner to Homeless

One of the victims is 41-year-old Issa Al Sududi. "I had no prior warning," he said, staring at the remnants of his home in shock. When he tried to stop the demolition, police officers beat him, until a policeman who recognized Issa stopped the assault. Issa's wife, overwhelmed, collapsed while resisting the police. She was transferred to the hospital with an injured left arm and leg.

Samir Zaquot, 46, lives in the Al Barahma residential area. Prior to 2005 it was impossible for Palestinians to live here because of its proximity to the Jewish-only colony at Rafiah Yam. When Israel withdrew the settlers and dismantled the colony, Samir built his home on a 150-meter plot, using cement smuggled into Gaza through the life-line tunnels. He, his wife and their five children have lived in the house since 2006. But on May 16, it was demolished.

Yet another victim is newlywed and father-to-be Attef Abu Azzoum. He and his pregnant wife lost all their belongings when their home fell to the bulldozers. Even though they have nowhere else to go, the government will not allow the couple to sleep on the ruins of their home.

    4. Fahmi Al Ghazawi, his wife, Shadia, and their four children moved to Rafah from Gaza City's Al Zaytoun neighborhood after their home was destroyed by Israel during Operation Cast Lead. Al Ghazawi built their new home as an act of civil disobedience, to challenge the Israeli siege and blockade of Gaza. Now it has been razed by Hamas. Determined to remain in the ruins of his home, he vows he will not give up, noting he has little choice.

Thirty-one families—190 people—are newly homeless in Gaza. In three hours, 12 residential structures were destroyed, according to the United Nations Officer for Humanitarian Affairs in Occupied Palestinian Territories. Residents who resisted the demolition of their homes, including Al Sududi and his wife, were beaten with sticks and guns. Adding insult to injury, Hamas government officials claim the homes were razed because "they were built on public land and with no permits." For more than 40 years, tens of thousands of Palestinians living under occupation have had their homes demolished by Israeli forces on similar charges. Surely they never could have anticipated that their own government officials would resort to the same behavior.

The legality of demolishing the homes remains a major issue for many human rights groups, noted Rafah Mayor Issa Al Nashar. In an interview with the Washington Report on Middle East Affairs, however, he insisted that the demolished structures were built illegally and hence considered "aggressions on public properties."

According to the mayor, building on public prosperity requires approval from the Lands Authority as well as a license from the municipality. His, he said, is committed to "stopping all those who are trying to gain money illegally by confiscating public property." Informed that Atef Abu Azzoum had paid $4,500 for his 200 meters of land, the mayor responded that was too small an amount for a legal purchase. Mayor Al Nashar did not indicate, however, whether landlords who sold the land to the residents would be fully investigated, noting that "the man who sold the [land on which the houses were built] has died recently."

The affected families were given warning of the demolitions via the media and letters of notification, the mayor added, but Al Ghazawi disagreed. "No warnings were given," he insisted, saying he was surprised to see the bulldozer demolishing the room he had added on to his house to accommodate his elderly mother.

  7. Moscow, Feb 21 (IANS/TASS) Ukraine's former president Viktor Yanukovich Saturday promised to return to Kiev "as soon as it becomes possible", as thousands of his supporters gathered here for a rally to mark the anniversary of his ouster.

"If we speak about the present day, I will return as soon as it becomes possible and will do all to make the life for the Ukrainian people easier," he said, adding that "the main task at the moment is to stop warfare".

"I regret that I could not do anything," the former president told Russian television Channel One, recalling the tragic events one year ago.

"No regime is worth the losses Ukraine has suffered after the events of Feb 21-22, 2014," he said. "The country is destroyed, we see territorial losses, casualties, the destruction of whole regions."

Yanukovich said he did not want to be an outsider in Ukraine's events. "But I had no possibility to return, and I won't conceal that I was sending people to Ukraine to monitor the situation. We keep monitoring it," he added.

  8. A very interesting article in The Atlantic ...

    What ISIS Really Wants

The Islamic State is no mere collection of psychopaths. It is a religious group with carefully considered beliefs, among them that it is a key agent of the coming apocalypse. Here’s what that means for its strategy—and for how to stop it.

It is a pretty long piece, very informative ....

    The money line

Given everything we know about the Islamic State, continuing to slowly bleed it appears the best of bad military options.

Another, not as bankable, but one that gives credence to Rufus's analysis of the conditions on the ground ...

After mujahideen reported having seen American soldiers in battle, Islamic State Twitter accounts erupted in spasms of pleasure, like overenthusiastic hosts upon the arrival of the first guests at a party.

    1. The Islamic State has attached great importance to the Syrian city of Dabiq, near Aleppo. It named its propaganda magazine after the town, and celebrated madly when (at great cost) it conquered Dabiq’s strategically unimportant plains. It is here, the Prophet reportedly said, that the armies of Rome will set up their camp. The armies of Islam will meet them, and Dabiq will be Rome’s Waterloo or its Antietam.

“Dabiq is basically all farmland,” one Islamic State supporter recently tweeted. “You could imagine large battles taking place there.” The Islamic State’s propagandists drool with anticipation of this event, and constantly imply that it will come soon. The state’s magazine quotes Zarqawi as saying, “The spark has been lit here in Iraq, and its heat will continue to intensify … until it burns the crusader armies in Dabiq.”
      ...
Now that it has taken Dabiq, the Islamic State awaits the arrival of an enemy army there, whose defeat will initiate the countdown to the apocalypse. Western media frequently miss references to Dabiq in the Islamic State’s videos, and focus instead on lurid scenes of beheading. “Here we are, burying the first American crusader in Dabiq, eagerly waiting for the remainder of your armies to arrive,” said a masked executioner in a November video, showing the severed head of Peter (Abdul Rahman) Kassig

  12. According to a report from Zero Hedge the Russians have already started unloading their dollar reserves. In the month of December alone they sold a record $22 billion in U.S. Treasurys. While this may not seem like a big number, it is over 20% of their total US dollar holdings.

But here’s the kicker: They’re not the only ones getting rid of their dollars in what appears to be a fairly uncommon sell-off over the course of the last 60 days.

Back in December, Socgen spread a rumor that Russia has begun selling its gold. Subsequent IMF data showed that not only was this not correct, Russia in fact added to its gold holdings. But there was one thing it was selling: some $22 billion in US Treasurys, a record 20% of its total holdings, bringing its US paper inventory to just $86 billion in December - the lowest since June 2008.

It wasn’t just Russia: the country that has ever more frequently been said to be in the same camp as Russia – and against the US – namely China, also sold another $6 billion in Treasurys in the last month of 2014, which would have made its US treasury holdings equal with those of Japan, if only Tokyo hadn’t also sold over $10 billion in the same month.

And while we know that Russia used at least some of the proceeds to buy gold, the bigger question is: just what is China buying with all these stealthy USD-denominated liquidations, and how much gold does the PBOC really have as of this moment.

  13. D. rat has either had a stroke:

'Friends and relatives may report a personality change that is hard to pin down. Some of these changes, such as low mood and anxiety, are more likely to be related to a person's feelings about having a stroke than to any harm to the brain. A genuine shift may occur, however, when the frontal lobes sustain damage. The frontal lobes play an essential role in regulating emotion, decision making and judgment. Strokes that affect the frontal lobes can lead to a range of problems, such as apathy or emotionalism (an overflow of emotion without necessarily feeling that emotion).

A stroke that hits the cerebellum can also trigger a personality shift. This brain region is vital to many aspects of executive function. Damage here can bring about disinhibition, which often manifests as inappropriate behavior. Other “negative” personality changes include poor decision making, aggression and irritability.'

    or needs one:

'Less common are cases of “positive” personality changes, in which people reportedly become happier and even nicer. Surveys suggest such changes occur rarely, but the frequency may be underreported. They might arise if a person has experienced a mild frontal lobe impairment that has led to a small increase in apathy and less anxiety. A slight loss of inhibition may also explain why a stroke victim might begin to experience more positive emotions.

Yet personality changes after a stroke could have nothing to do with afflicted brain areas. Serious illness often leads people to reevaluate their priorities in life and change their attitudes toward others. For example, British television broadcaster Andrew Marr, who suffered a stroke, said that his stroke made him a “nicer and happier person” and less “self-absorbed.” '

and one of the largest ethnic groups to JOIN ISIS? Palestinains!

    which means?

America is bombing palestinians on a daily basis..

    how cool is that?

Among the ISIS ranks are a number of fighters from peaceful European countries, including Belgium and the Netherlands. Meeting them when they arrive in Syria and Iraq are a growing number of Gazans. There is no shortage of war and conflict in Israel and the Palestinian territories, of course, but Gazans are still making their way to foreign conflicts to fight alongside the notorious and brutal Islamic State, known as ISIS.

Vocativ reported last month on ISIS’ evolving presence in Sinai and the Gaza Strip, and groups from that area have expressed their philosophical support for ISIS since early 2014. Palestinian refugees (500,000 of whom were living in Syria when the conflict there erupted) were drawn into Syria’s conflict early on, but it now appears that groups that have pledged loyalty to ISIS leader Al-Baghdadi are sending representatives into the heart of the ISIS battlefield, and individual Gazans are also joining the fight of their own volition.

    1. Among those Gazans known to have died in battle with ISIS are a number who hail from Rafah, Nuseirat and Jabalia and have fallen in Homs and Aleppo in Syria and Samara in Iraq.

According to ISIS forums and official social media accounts, two of the Gazans who have been killed in action recently were from Sinai-based Ansar Beit al-Maqdis and Ansar al-Dawla al-Islamia. The men had traveled to Iraq as “official representatives” of those groups to fight in Syria alongside ISIS.

      Delete
    2. The Ansar al-Dawla’s group’s Twitter account posted a short eulogy for one of those representatives, Muhammad Naif al-Qarinawi. Al-Qarinawi was an engineer from Nuseirat, a refugee camp in central Gaza, and he fought under the nom de guerre Abi al-Bara al-Ghazi. Abi al-Bara was sent to Syria to bring his operational expertise, especially in explosives engineering, to ISIS. Al-Bara reportedly died just outside Homs on July 26 during an ISIS military operation in which a 2,000-man force mounted an attack on the Sha’er gas field. Fighting at the gas field continued for 10 days, after which it was eventually recaptured by the Syrian military.

  16. Egypt Flattens Neighborhoods to Create a Buffer With Gaza
By KAREEM FAHIM and MERNA THOMASOCT. 29, 2014

CAIRO — With bulldozers and dynamite, the Egyptian Army on Wednesday began demolishing hundreds of houses, displacing thousands of people, along the border with Gaza in a panicked effort to establish a buffer zone that officials hope will stop the influx of militants and weapons across the frontier.

The demolitions, cutting through crowded neighborhoods in the border town of Rafah, began with orders to evacuate on Tuesday and were part of a sweeping security response by the government of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to months of deadly militant attacks on Egyptian security personnel in the Sinai Peninsula, including the massacre of at least 31 soldiers last Friday.

That assault was the deadliest on the Egyptian military in years, and a blow to the government, which has claimed to be winning the battle against insurgents. The resort to a harsh counterinsurgency tactic — destroying as many as 800 houses and displacing up to 10,000 people to eliminate “terrorist hotbeds,” as Mr. Sisi’s spokesman put it — highlighted the difficulties the military has faced in breaking the militants as well as the anger that operations like Wednesday’s inevitably arouse.

During the Iraqi occupation of Kuwait,[1] 200,000 Palestinians voluntarily fled Kuwait due to various reasons (fear or persecution,[1] food shortages, medical care difficulties, financial shortages, fear of arrest and mistreatment at roadblocks by Iraqis).[2][1][3] After the Gulf War in 1991, nearly 200,000 Palestinians fled Kuwait, partly due to economic burdens, regulations on residence and fear of abuse by Kuwaiti security forces.[4][5][6] The policy which partly led to this exodus was a response to the alignment of PLO leader Yasser Arafat with Saddam Hussein.

  17. More about the lovely Palestinians...

BEIRUT: For two years, Fatah al-Islam sent shockwaves throughout Lebanon with a spate of terrorist attacks, culminating in the battle of Nahr al-Bared. More than 400 people died during the clashes in the Palestinian refugee camp situated in north Lebanon, but Fatah al-Islam carried on operations for another year before largely disappearing from the public eye.

The battle of Nahr al-Bared in 2007 led to the death or arrest of many Fatah al-Islam militants. Those who evaded capture or later escaped from Roumieh Prison are believed by analysts to have merged with Islamist groups operating in Syria, on the Lebanese border, or inside Lebanon itself.

Fatah al-Islam was formed in 2006 by Shaker Al-Abssi, a Palestinian born in Ariha (Jericho) in 1955. After being released from a Syrian prison, Abssi traveled to Iraq to fight the U.S. invasion in 2003. There, he made connections with senior figures in Al-Qaeda, including Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.

In fact, Fatah al-Islam shares and supports the Al-Qaeda ideology – the only difference being the group’s view on takfiris and Shiites, whom Fatah al-Islam does not consider to be apostates.

The crater is 40 km long, 2–10 km wide and 500 meters deep, and is shaped like an elongated heart. The only settlement in the area is the small town of Mitzpe Ramon (מצפה רמון, "Ramon Observation Point") located on the northern edge of the crater. Today the crater and surrounding area forms Israel's largest national park, the Ramon Nature Reserve.

TEL AVIV, Israel (AP) — Tel Aviv has long been a gay paradise, one of the few places in the Middle East where gays feel free to walk hand-in-hand and kiss in public.

Now, thanks to its balmy climate, vibrant nightlife and a creative government-backed branding campaign, the city has become one of the world's top gay tourist destinations.

Tel Aviv devotes about $100,000 — more than a third of its international marketing budget — to drawing gay tourists. Though no exact figures exist, officials estimate that tens of thousands of gay tourists from abroad arrive annually.

"We are trying to create a model for openness, pluralism, tolerance," Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai told The Associated Press. "Live and let live — this is the city of Tel Aviv."

The city's first openly gay-owned hotel was opened recently and numerous city-backed travel sites direct gay visitors to the hottest clubs, bars and resorts in town.

"We've long recognized the economic potential of the gay community. The gay tourist is a quality tourist, who spends money and sets trends,"
said Pini Shani, a Tourism Ministry official who has been involved in the campaign.

"There's also no doubt that a tourist who's had a positive experience here is of PR value. If he leaves satisfied, he becomes an Israeli ambassador of good will."

An Interview with Rocco Wachman from the Arizona Cowboy College – with a twist!

First off, let me tell you about the Arizona Cowboy College. It was started by Lloyd Bridwell who was a rancher that was the son of a rancher who was the son of a rancher. You know what I mean here… Anyway, in 1989 he created the Cowboy College to impart his love of the ranching life. It caught on like wildfire and was featured in television and magazines everywhere. I’m sure the movie, CITY SLICKERS, took a piece from Lloyd.

Students came to Cowboy College from far and wide. One of those students was a businessman from New York, Rocco Wachman. Well, Rocco was so moved by his experience at CC, he left NY behind and became a part of the College. Now he is the head instructor… Rocco was our tour guide and interviewee.

But before we go to the video, I have to tell you the tragedy here. Lloyd Bridwell passed away unexpectedly in 2003. Honorably, his wife, Lori, continued on with Rocco’s help. The College was Lloyd’s dream and no one wanted it to end. So, with great strength and will power the Bridwell family and Rocco kept Cowboy College thriving. And thank goodness because our adventure there, and the adventures of everyone who takes the course, make memories that last a lifetime!

Lots of collateral damage. TC is one of those that was riding with Trenk, but has baled off that pony and is fighting for his piece of the Cave Creek pie, without his Rose Law buddy.

His troubles with Larry, over at the Buffalo Chip are not political, they are all about money.
Between the two places, there is probably $400,000 a month in food and beverage sales, during the season.

    4. Neither want to share any of it with the other.
The Buffalo Chip was there first, used to be the Maverick Bar.
He got it about ten years ago.

TC purpose built his place, it is quite nice, but he does not know much about food, beverage or getting along with his neighbors. He can ride like the wind, train any animal and has hands that are bigger than mine. Which is not very common.

    5. It's a fun town to visit ...

But I like it in the Greenback Valley, up in the Tonto Basin.
Same weather, same elevation, maybe forty miles east, as the crow flies.
A two hour drive, if you take the short cut through the Indian Reservation.
I stay at the Carefree Inn, when in Cave Creek, it is the best place in town, the other is a motel that is not nearly as nice, and has no pool, no hot tub no jucuzzi nor an in house restaurant.

    6. $1.4 million is what TC says he spent to buy the land and build his dream bar, small kitchen and rodeo arena.

It is a heck of a fight
A security guard has died, but they say in the newspaper that it was 'natural causes'. He was rather old.

The space around TC, it is 'charged', to say the least.
I think that he was quite the hellion, back in the day.
There are reports to that effect. How reliable they are ... who knows, but him.

He has all the signs. I kinda like the guy,

  34. .

Right, rat, but after our experience with you here, the lying and the misdirection, why would anyone believe anything you say?

By going to Bing and typing in El Encanto cave creek road you get a website for the restaurant. Click on it and you also get an interactive map of Cave Creek and Cave Creek Road listing all the sites you mentioned. Plug the restaurant name into Binbg and you can get all the info you are putting up including the ducks and turtles. On the same Bing page you get the Arizona newspapers and other sources to track down the other detail.

Well, perhaps we wouldn't get your personal reminiscences but given your past record how would we know they were true or not?

    You can see the problem.

If any of it is true, good on you.
