COLLECTIVE MADNESS

“Soft despotism is a term coined by Alexis de Tocqueville describing the state into which a country overrun by "a network of small complicated rules" might degrade. Soft despotism is different from despotism (also called 'hard despotism') in the sense that it is not obvious to the people."

  11. The first wave of attack included 185 planes. US radar detected the force over an hour before the attack but was misinterpreted. Battle ship row was attacked for an hour. Battleship Arizona with a trapped crew of a thousand went down fast.

  12. The second wave of 175 planes arrived after 9 am. The ground and air preparations managed to knock down 20 planes but the Japanese still did great further created great damage to the US. Inexplicably the Japanese request to make a third attack was denied by high Japanese command. 1/3 of the US dead were on the Arizona.
