Mitt's Still IN the Crapper: --- MITT ROMNEY, RUDY GIULIANI, FRED THOMPSON
Either SurveyUSA Is Off, Or Romney's Doing Terrible In Head-to-Head Matchups
We've known Romney isn't doing terrific in head-to-head matchups with Democrats in this point - his campaign would contend it's an unfair comparison as long as his name recognition is behind the Democrats' and his GOP rivals - but these SurveyUSA numbers are awful for him.
Romney vs. Clinton in Ohio? He trails, 52 percent to 42 percent. Giuliani and Thompson are both within 1 of Hillary Clinton.
In Kentucky, Romney's lead over Obama is within the margin of error. Giuliani and Thompson are well ahead, 17 points, 18 points.
In Alabama - Alabama! - Romney's lead over Hillary is again within in the margin of error. Giuliani and Thompson are well ahead, 11 points, 13 points.
What's the matter with Romney in Kansas? He trails Hillary head-to-head, 46 percent to 45 percent.
Didn't Kansas elect a Dem gal named syphilis, or something, to be Governor?
Romney had a tough week a the first of this month. It's gonna take a while to get over it.
He'll do well once he gets the Publicity of getting the nomination (if he gets it,) but his lead is getting shakey in NH. He loses there, and he's uber toast.
He's only 22% on Entrade (To get the Nomination.) I think that's too low. I've been pondering betting a few bucks on him.
The problem is it doesn't seem "Way" too low. Just, "a little bit" too low. That said, if he doesn't wilt in Iowa, and wins it by a decent amount, he'll get a "small" bump going into New Hampshire. If he eeks that one out, he will win Michigan, and Nev., and it'll be damned hard to keep him out of the nomination. He's not "too far" back in Fl, or Ca. He's not in as bad a shape as the "National" figures make him look.
But, Damn, it's hard to get excited about him. "Until" you put his picture next to the Hildebeest. Then it's no contest.

Key elements of Hillary Clinton's healthcare proposal are strikingly similar to the tenets of the health overhaul that Mitt Romney signed into law in Massachusetts last year...the central premise of Clinton's plan -- an "individual mandate" requiring that every American have health insurance -- is precisely what Romney proposed in the Bay State, in what was seen as a bold approach to attaining universal coverage. The idea became a pillar of the law, which he signed in April 2006.
Hey, T, you're absolutely right. I supported what I heard about the Mass plan, and I can support Hillary's plan. He crawfished away from his strongest qualification, and she took it away from him.
I thought it was funny, she used the same analogy I've made here, and, also, many times at Kudlow's blog. State required auto insurance.
The Pubs are panicked. Her plan will work, and they know it will work. They're too chickenshit to admit it, and change course.
Being the Hildebeest, it'll be difficult, but, SHE COULD WIN. If she didn't hate the military so much, I wouldn't, necessarily dread it. And, She DOES hate the Military.
Expect a minor wave of vigilante justice to occur in America, and to grow, as more and more people view "The Brave One" as my wife and I just did starring Jodi Foster and Terrence dang I can't remember the last name, both doing great acting jobs. Almost an endorsement of the concept and an advertisement for it.
Least we could do for Ahamdinejad is kidnap him for 444 days, parade him around a bit, then let him go. Or shoot him, as Rufus suggested, Jodi Foster style.
very funny.

I get a similar reaction watching/reading the MSM. Only, the perception is that I'm hijacked into the toilet rather than out of the toilet.

At first I thought they were going to charge the toilet and knock it over with him in there.

Nothing new there.
It's a flaw in my character that I seem to get some satisfaction thinking of Castro in didies, with a bib for his drool too.
