Cory Lidle on Plane That Crashes into NYC Building
Planes crashes into N.Y. building
Small plane smashes into high-rise building Witness: Huge flames, people were screaming President informed; crash believed to be accident NORAD orders aircraft patrol cities as precautionary measure
"The initial indication is that there is a terrible accident," said Department of Homeland Security spokesman Russ Knocke. --- Like when that young Muslim in the lightplane was just a disturbed teen.
“At the moment, the Earth is at the beginning of a cycle but the planet's climate system has changed so much in the past 3 million years that it is difficult to predict what will happen in the future.”
Not as long as the President "Stays the Course" on the Religion of Peace storyline. Once he switches, a couple of years, give or take, rufus. So some time after the '08 Election, when there is a new President, with a new stroyline.
He DOES have kind of a beard. ...or at least he did have. --- Update II:
WASHINGTON (AP) -- A law enforcement official has told The Associated Press that a member of the New York Yankees organization was aboard the plane that crashed into a New York City high-rise. And FAA records show the plane was registered to pitcher Cory Lidle.
He wore a parachute for the first 25 hours. The witness saw the plane coming over and that it appeared to be on fire as there was lots of smoke coming from it. He said that it was about 200-300 feet high when he saw a person jump from the plane He said that the person striking the ground appeared to bounce about 3-4 feet into the air.
Guys! The only thing certain at this point is that Chris Matthews was not on the plane and that genetic mutations mixed with pure grain alcohol and syphlis yield moronic MSM commentary.
Little known Factoid: May 13, 1948: Kathleen Kennedy Cavendish (28), the sister of President John Kennedy, died when the de Havilland Dove 1 she was aboard crashing into Mount Coron, in France, killing all 10 aboard. Kathleen had been flying to a family reunion on the Riviera.
'The whole plane has a parachute on it,' Cory Lidle told the NY TIMES last month. 'Ninety-nine percent of pilots that go up never have engine failure, and the 1 percent that do usually land it. But if you're up in the air and something goes wrong, you pull that parachute, and the whole plane goes down slowly.'
Lidle was not instrument rated to fly the plane and could only fly when visibility was good. It was an overcast day in Manhattan...
DOUG PROCLAIMS IT WAS ACCIDENTAL! --- Flying has become a passion for Lidle, who said he had spent about 95 solo hours in the air. After a recent day game at Yankee Stadium, he took a train to Philadelphia, fetched his plane from a nearby airport and flew it to Teterboro Airport in New Jersey, where he keeps it during the season.
For now, Lidle plans to enjoy flying this off-season, unburdened by the notorious California traffic.
“It’s basically to bring things a little closer to reach,” he said. “Now I can go to Pebble Beach if I want, and instead of driving there for five hours, I can fly there in an hour and 45 minutes. I can go to Arizona to golf, or Vegas, wherever.”
joe kennedy was on some sort of secret-weapon mission, where he was supposed to parachute out and the entire aircraft was to hit a target carrying a big bomb--something along that line, according to a dimly-recalled history-channel show.

But, buddy, as Mr Reid has his "money" challenges, Mr Hastert carries his own share of "money" baggage.
Mr Reid's troubles are highlighted at instapundit, Mr Hastert's at the Daily Kos. doug can run a traffic comparison to see which story gets the most eyes.
As many of you are undoubtedly aware, the Speaker of the House used his position to insert a $200 million earmark into the transportation bill a year ago to build his much desired "Prarie Parkway"-a new interstate to connect Interstate 88 with Interstate 80, across exurban Chicago, and specifically Denny's district...
While he was doing this, he joined with 2 other people to buy up about 250 acres near the proposed highway, and worked the Kendall County Board to ensure an onramp was installed just down the street from one of the properties.
Now, Denny and his partners are selling the land. The first sale, about 90 acres, netted them roughly $3.8 million! They bought the land at $11k an acre and sold it at $35k an acre.
Rudy as a war-closer is powerful. Also, as horrid as abortion is, it wins Rudy the general election. Fight one horror at a time--the jihad now, the other thing when we can.
If I had been the Mayor of New York, I might have been, also.
The Federals are dysfunctional, here in AZ. They could no more "control" the guns here than they can the drugs and the migrants that cross the State daily.
yegh, Rudy as mayor of NYC had a mayor's issue with crime, to deal with. And his ultra left press establishment to neutralize in order to make overall progress. I want to give him a bye on it, pending.

What is the specific 2nd Admendment issue that we are discussing.
AZ has a "concealed carry" system that is in violation of the State's Constitution. We have a "make no law" clause concerning firearms, the CC laws are laws that violate the "make no law" provision.
Gun Control passed as a "freedom". Break that CC Law all the time, I don't need no stinking permit.
No one has ever been prosecuted in AZ for a concealed weapons charge.
