More nonsense and arrogance from the burkka-babes, The BBC has picked up a story from The Daily Mirror about a teaching assisitant who thinks she should be allowed to teach young English Children while dressed in a tent with a periscope. Imagine if a teacher showed up for work dressed as Zorro claiming he was a Zorroastrian. All this to be culturally sensitive. Now, admittedly I have some very strong opinions on this particular stupidity.In February over at Euro Blog during a discussion on the same subject I said: "What utter nonsense. Of course the burkka should be banned in the West. It is not a benign fashion choice. It is a symbol of repression against half of humanity. It represents fear, ignorance, intolerance, prejudice, subjugation and terror. No decent society should tolerate such utter nonsense and gender based bullying. It is time, way past time, to stop being defensive about our cultural values and grovelling before theirs.
Earlier this month, I argued: "Human beings have evolved as social creatures. We come into the world and if lucky are nurtured and cared for by loving protecting families. We are socialized to understand that there are those that want us and protect us and those that mean us harm. A child learns quickly. Watch the human face of a normal person that picks up a child. We say the face "beams". We have different faces for every type of emotion from love and lust, to happiness and contentment. We have malicious faces, evil faces, faces of barbarians, faces of liars, faces of fools. The human face is a face of all of mankind. A smile is a universal signal to every human face, male or female, on the planet. When I see a Niqab, I think of other hidden faces, with only their eyes exposed, standing behind other faces, with only their eyes hidden. When I see a Niqab, I see a medieval remnant of the repression of woman and everything incompatible with western culture. The Niqab has no place in the West."
I am always looking for a symbol of hope that the scourge of Wetern Civilisation, Multi-Culturism, is on its merry way to join Nazism and Marxism in the outhouse of bad ideas. Is this a sign?
Veil teacher 'should be sacked'
A Muslim teaching assistant suspended for refusing to remove her veil in class should be sacked, a local government minister has said.
Phil Woolas, whose brief includes race relations, told the Sunday Mirror that Aishah Azmi, 23, had "put herself in a position where she can't do her job".
Ms Azmi, who works at a junior school in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, said her pupils never complained about the veil.
She said she would remove the garment, but not in front of male colleagues.
Mr Woolas told the newspaper this amounted to sexual discrimination.
He added: "She is denying the right of children to a full education by insisting that she wears the veil."

It applies to nuclear weapons and dress codes equally
Normally is said, loudly, immediately prior to acceptance.
Otherwise it is unacceptable to have different norms for women versus men in the workplace.

i cant speak for the whole of the western world but in the USA we are supost to have the ferrdom of religon that means cathlics get to wear their st meddalions christians may wear their crosses jews may wear a yammica or a star of david and muslams may wear their burkas if they chouse it is freedom of religon not freedom from religon
