Human torture in Guantanamo - Courtesy of the US Government

  1. This is truly disgusting and don’t think for one-second the US government wouldn’t do it to any one of us.

  2. Honest to bejesus.

    And you buy all that?

Well, whatever, I recall an earlier Deuce who once said "What's a little water up the nose?" in reference to getting some life saving info out of those people. Somewhere along the line a great reversal occurred.....

  3. Obama renewed his vow to close Gitmo today. China vowed a new era of austerity, just as soon as they finish building an $11 million giant brass fish.

  4. I never bought into this or anything like it. You believe that because some egomaniac goes from a school board to Congress, where he is bought and paid for by his political donors, that he is either wise or right? How about political appointees? Do you think a uniform gives some superior moral standing?

I was once assigned to a military outfit that did not exist and spent 2 1/2 months waiting in a foreign country for the military to correct their mistake. What other mistakes has the military made? Iraq maybe? The US government lies about almost everything.

  5. I don't think there is torture going on at Gitmo now. Under Bush they sent them to Egypt to get the treatment. Under Obama I don't think anything is happening in that regard. But then of course I have no way of knowing for certain.

As if this makes a difference.

The Italians didn't think so. You have 23 CIA agents convicted in absentia for rendition operations.

None of them will be visiting the Colosseum any time soon.
